Jude's was close and met my needs. Had a beard trim, haircut, and straight razored neck line. They did a great job, but for twice the price of what a real barber would do. However, they do a full straight razor shave, which is a rare thing to find, even at barbershops. Albeit, $20. If I can't find a decent barber in the area, I will go back to Jude's. But at the prices they charge, my haircuts will be farther apart to account for the expensive cuts. They have a call ahead where you can call a few hours prior to guarantee you are in and out. They also take walk-ins.

My stylist/barber (whatever...) was Esther (90% sure...), she shampooed me (which was essentially a pleasant head massage), gave me a haircut, and cleaned up my neck with a straight razor (which is not something I've encountered before; I liked it). She made a point to chat with me the whole time; which I'm sure she's required to do but, it didn't go unappreciated all the same. All said and done the haircut was very well done, and the experience was pleasant. The haircut and shampoo cost me $18, I tipped her $4. Esther could charge me for a cheaper cut and I'd tip her the difference in future. I'll request her in the future. Honestly, I'd prefer to just tip her well; I'd give 5/5 stars if the prices were about $2 cheaper on average. They also offer a full straight razor shave which I think I'll try another time when it seems appropriate.

An excellent listener who chatted with me about what I wanted for at least a good five minutes before she even washed my hair. Thorough wash, not too quick and shoddy like most other places. She worked quickly and made sure I was comfortable, asking me several times I was satisfied with what and how she was doing. I loved the cut she did, it was exactly what I wanted. I don't like to spend a lot of money or time on my hair. I was very satisfied at Mastercuts. This place is at least three levels of Better above Borics and Fantastic Sam's.
