The stylist didn't discuss the price with my cousin prior to service. She only knew I would be charged with "this much" after everything was done. Overall, very bad communication for the business. I couldn't blame this only on the stylist because my cousin didn't question, either. However, I felt it'd be more appreciate if my cousin was acknowledged with the cost for her hair. And if you are curious to know, yes, they overchaged for it. 2. She wanted an ombre dye (I think it was called balayage - forgive me for my hair knowleged, lol). Even showed the stylist an inspo pic for the style she desired. The work was awful, and I believed the stylist already knew it was in the process of completing the work, yet had the courage to let my cousin know "her hair was a mess". Her hair didn't show the ombre style, more like the stylist dumping a whole bucket of blonde hair color on her. My cousin went back to me crying because that wasn't what she wanted but it was too late to have it fixed, as she had somewhere to go after. The stylist could've done a better job, but unfortunately they already lost their potential customers.

So has the quality and excellence of service. My first appt, two years ago, was gifted by my spouse for my birthday. It was the $60 deluxe. I'd guess it was an hour of haircut, pampering, facial treatment, straight razor trim, etc. Really really wonderful. That barber was also the barber I had the next time, and that was great. Then she left. In the two years that have ensued, the quality of care and the degree of effort feel like they've steadily decreased. My first two visits were Special. Now it feels like going to a Supercuts. Well, two years later, I just came back from my latest T&C appointment, still getting the $60 "Haircut, beard trim with straight razor line up." These days I'm no longer bearded but this morning decided to not get a shave so I could get the full experience. If there's one thing you should pretty much be able to count on, it's that a package description that refers to a straight razor will include the use of a straight razor. The whole thing was about 20-25 minutes. In that whole time, a straight razor didn't get within a foot of my head. He did 'shave' me ... using a standard electric foil shaver. For what I got, I could -- should -- have spent a lot less than $60. I think it's time to move on and find another, more traditional, barber -- or go to the other end of the spectrum and actually go to a Nice[tm] haircutting place. This is sort of the worst of all worlds.

My oldest got a 4 minute haircut that is completely uneven, and left with marks all over his neck. Clearly, the guy that cut his hair was in a hurry, and didn't care that he was scraping up my son's neck. He didn't even brush/blow off the cut hair; my son was covered in hair when he got out of the chair. The guy had disappeared at this point. My 6 year old had a better experience, but he was also left with uneven hair and a botched sideburn. My husband did ask his hairdresser to fix my older son's haircut, and I guess she did what she could. For a place that specializes in men's cuts, we certainly expected far better. Let's hope my boys hair grows fast.

I was physically pulling my hair out to the sides so I could show her the length and asked her to look at me straight on, so she could see. She continued to stand at my side and said "Okay, you are right." Then proceeded to swipe the clippers into my hair, going much higher up the side of my head than what I wanted, making it impossible to get the cut I wanted. When I reacted in a negative manner, she took the cape off of me and told me someone else can cut my hair. In my 51 years on this planet, I have never had an experience like this at a salon.
