I have been going to Elegant Lashes by Katie for four years on and off. I first started at the Tustin location and then moved to Irvine as it was closer to me. I would switch off between Tammy and Angela. Back in April I got my lashes done by Angela for a trip because Tammy was out on maternity leave. I was hesitant because when Angela does it, she would stack clusters on clusters. My friend does lashes as well, and she said this is not how you're supposed to do it. And just like the other 1 star reviews on the page say, their lashes fall out after a few days. This would happen with my lashes. So before my trip, I got them filled by Angela, but a few days later they fell out and I paid for another FILL less than a week later. So I texted them telling them about this situation, and they said they would give a discount for the next time I come in. I didn't respond for months. So now, in October, I wanted to get my lashes done for a wedding. I decided to book Fiona since her lashes were good the last time I showed her inspo photos. I told her the length and not too long because my eyes do sag. I truly should've known better, when I opened my eyes and saw them, they were bare and made my eyes droop. Being surrounded by other people, I didn't want to say anything. But I absolutely hated it!! So the next day, I messaged them and told them the story again. And how they were not to the fullness that I wanted. They reviewed with Fiona and said that they saw similarities in the photos I showed her and that I could come in 6pm that day so Tammy could fix it. However I couldn't come in at 6pm because I had a wedding welcome dinner and the next day there was a wedding. So there was no time in between the 3 day fix policy. I asked for a refund and they said they couldn't. They would rather lose a long time customer, rather than giving a refund. And what is up with the lashes falling out after 4 days? Back when I was going to Angela, I would have to get a fill every 9-11 days, it was crazy!! She was great about getting me in quickly, since I wanted to get my lashes done before a trip. Everything was very clean and we both wore masks the entire time. She applies the lashes in a clean room with the client lying on a comfortable memory foam massage table, and a fresh towel on a special lash application neck pillow to rest on. She helped me decide to go with a B curl lash, with the longest lashes in the middle at a .12, and a classic set. I prefer my lashes to tend more towards the natural side, and I am extremely pleased with the results. The lashes are perfect and give a little oomph without making me look like I am wearing strip lashes. I highly recommend Megumi as your go-to for lash application.
