She was great about getting me in quickly, since I wanted to get my lashes done before a trip. Everything was very clean and we both wore masks the entire time. She applies the lashes in a clean room with the client lying on a comfortable memory foam massage table, and a fresh towel on a special lash application neck pillow to rest on. She helped me decide to go with a B curl lash, with the longest lashes in the middle at a .12, and a classic set. I prefer my lashes to tend more towards the natural side, and I am extremely pleased with the results. The lashes are perfect and give a little oomph without making me look like I am wearing strip lashes. I highly recommend Megumi as your go-to for lash application. She does them exactly how I like them and both eyes always look exactly the same. I've had previous experiences where my eyes don't match at all and they have told me "our eyes are sisters not twins". True, but not an excuse to look like each eye was done by a different person on a different day lol. Also I'd like to add that small details matter to me, I like that they wear masks when working so close to your face (I've also left some artists that did exceptional work but had awful breath) and, they put a towel over your forehead so that they're hands/wrists aren't resting on your skin the whole time which I'm sure can cause break-outs for some people. She spends the entire amount of time on my eyes and sometimes I go for a 1 week fill knowing I don't need much but she still works on them for them entire hour. Not to keep bashing others, but I've also paid $100+ for 1 week fills that they say are one hour appointments and then they only work on them for 10 minutes and charge the full amount. I like the integrity here and it's a clean comfortable space on top of all that!

The technician was so gentle I almost fell asleep, which is saying a lot because I don't even trust people near my eyeballs like that. The salon was clean, quiet, and relaxing--basically the opposite of my daily chaos. My lashes came out super lightweight but still full, like natural... if my natural self were just better. They've been holding up really well too, surviving naps, showers, and me aggressively rubbing my eyes at 2am (don't recommend, but still). Only downside? I would leave completely dissatisfied with my lashes and the price I was paying. I finally decided to try out other lash artists. The last lash place I went to irritated my eyes causing it to hurt whenever I closed it. I went back the next day to get a refund and to remove the lashes. This resulted in me having bald spots throughout my lash line. It was completely bald in my inner corner. I tried leaving my eyes alone for a month for my lashes to grow back, but it was still sparse and bald. Chloe worked her magic and did her best given the circumstances of my sparse lashes. She listened to my needs and how I would like my lash style to be. Before going here, I was told that I was not able to get the curly lashes due to my natural lashes not being able to hold them. All I wanted was curly and long lashes without emphasizing my small eyes. I was able to get curly lashes with length and not having the lashes look droopy on my eyes. I came in for a hybrid, but Chloe did a light volume to mask the bald spots. Overall, my experience was great. Chloe is a great lash artist and can differently slay your eyes!
