SO HONEST & REASONABLE!! While driving up north for a quick getaway, my 'Check Engine' light was going on and off. My truck was under warranty and I just had the oil changed. Once we arrived, I called a couple dealerships and they were too busy to help. So, I called Noel's Automotive and they had me come right in. They were very up front, took my truck in right away and followed procedures 100%. I highly recommend Noel's Automotive without hesitation! read more

Have had car serviced here twice now. Feel like we are in good hands. Nice folks, thorough explanation of car repairs. Happy!

We take both our diesel Passat (that has 300,000 miles) and our Dodge Ram (over 400,000 miles) to Noel's. Supporting our exceptional local businesses is important to us. We trust and appreciate the friendly, professional service that the entire crew at Noel's provides. read more

Noel's is the BEST! Taite knows me the second I call, in a good way. They know my cars and take the best care of them. I never feel like I'm over charged and they are super courteous. Would never take my cars to anyone else. read more

Rear Motor Mount. Honest pricing, quick work. They seem like honest people and I will definitely be returning the next time I need work done on the car read more

While getting my tires rotated at Costco, the tireshop called me to say one of my lugnuts had seized (apparently this is very common for Subarus) and they would have to cut off the wheel stud. They said any autoshop could repair it, and it would be around $300. Okay fine, do what needs to be done. I drive past Noel's every single day but somehow I forgot this place existed. I called them up and the woman on the phone was very friendly and helpful. She answered all my questions (I tend to have a lot of those) and scheduled a time for the repair. I came the night before and dropped off my car. They called around 11:15 to say my car was ready to go. Boyfriend picked it up for me while I was at work. Simple fix to an easy problem. My wheel has five studs and five lug nuts again. I would definitely go here again in the future if more extensive work needs to be done. read more

Noel's Automotive Saves My Day Again! Yesterday's auto quandary was daunting. At around 4pm I'd discovered my hybrid car's power had run down, and somehow, I had to get to work to teach my evening class an hour away from my house. If I waited for Auto Club to come give me a charge, I would have been late to work, and it was too late to call in for a substitute to teach my class. Chris immediately got on the phone with me and kindly offered to send his shop tech Joe to our home, as we live only a few minutes away from Noel's. Joe arrived within minutes and charged up my car battery, advising me that if I kept the car running, all would be well. Thanks to Noel's amazing assistance with charging my car by making a house call on short notice, I was able to get to work in time to teach my evening class. This was nothing short of a miracle! Moreover, my car radio, which hadn't been working lately, came on for the first time in a week as a result of the battery charge provided. I'm beyond grateful to Noel's Automotive for their kind neighborliness and above and beyond assistance with keeping my car up and running! read more

I was recently rear-ended in my RV on my way to a campground. The cargo basket and box were smashed Although I tried, I couldn't remove it so I drove it to the nearest auto shop I could find on google. It was Noel's and Josh was amazing. Within a few minutes he not only had it off but disposed of the crumpled metal all at no charge! read more

My truck needed a service while we were camping. I took the truck to the shop and they immediately tried to diagnose the problem. Once we determined it to be an electrical issue, they asked me to leave the truck overnight so it could be repaired the next day. They repaired it withn 1 day but weren't satisfied with the results so they kept it an additional day and fixed a few minor issues and then it was fixed. Staff was extremely friendly and the guys in the shop were professional and even gave me a ride back to my campsite a few miles away 2x, when I was there without a ride back. Needless to say a bad battery terminal connection and an alternator were the issue, once repaired we were able to tow are trailer home and I haven't had an issues. I'm glad there are still honest and trustworthy shops out there. If Noel's didn't get my truck fixed in time I was going to have a world of troubles with trailer storage, getting my family, and dog back home back to Sacramento. read more

Chris took care of me as I was an out of town customer. He and his staff are very polite, friendly and professional. I was also given a ride to and from my rental home when I dropped off and picked up my vehicle. Chris also provided me with his personal cell number should I have any issues over the weekend while I was still in town and they were closed. I recommend this shop to everyone! Thank you Chris my wife and I really appreciate you and your staff! read more

The first time my car was serviced at this shop the price and work was reasonable. Not great but good/ok. The second time my car had a simple service. The charge was exorbitant and significantly more than the dealer. I won't be returning. read more

Noel's was recommended by the roadside assistance responder when I needed a jump start. They were very responsive, helpful, professional, and pleasant despite being quite busy. Great value for money, too, which was important as funds were very tight at the end of the month. They worked with me to ensure I was up and running again quickly. Noel's is now my go-to shop for any automotive needs. read more

Pretty funny Josh how your employee Chris mentioned to me that I blew the motor up but bottom line is that if the car would have shifted like it should have then there wouldn't have been a issue... and as far as the clunk the 2 new tires I purchased when I got my car back it still had the same issue same clunk end result I was out of a car and a big chunk of money so would I recommend your shop to anybody absolutely not. read more

I've been going to Noel's since I moved to the Russian River about 12 years ago. Chris is a genuine, honest, and laid-back person whom I trust with my car. I know that he will never ask me to do work that does not need to be done, which is unfortunately not the case everywhere you go. For that reason alone, you should check Noel's out! read more

I was visiting the area when I discovered I had a flat tire, unfortunately I had a bolt stuck in the tire. AAA got the car to Noels Automotive and they just did a great job. Fast friendly service at a very reasonable price! If you find yourself in Jenner with car trouble definitely contact these folks. One of the owners found out I was a long distance runner and gave me incredible trail advice. A million thanks to a great shop! read more

I see reviews where people say that if they could make a negative star... minus three stars.... I never thought I would be one of them. Not good is not good enough. These people are poison. Negative stars. I arranged weeks in advance of having my classic Jaguar flat bed transported to Josh's shop after it had been stolen and beat up. He agreed he could take care of whatever was needed. My first requirement was to completely inspect the car to evaluate what needed to be done. That took five visits to the shop and almost two months of time for him to tell me that the car was fine. I paid directly for keys and a special 800.00 cleaning needed. Josh did not do any kind of inspection and missed major issues, including the fact that the steering wheel was 35% off center and the brake lights were always on. How can anyone miss that? EVERYTHING he did was wrong. I found the car in a filthy back lot. It would not start. Trouble lights flashed. THE BREAKS DID NOT WORK RIGHT AFTER HIS "REPAIR". HE PUT THE WRONG TRANSMISSION FLUID IN AND NOT ENOUGH TO RUN. British European Motors in Cotati had to fully replace every single thing these losers did. When I demanded he return my money and pay for the fix... he was not reachable. He would refer my attorney to his...but he never did. HE JUST PLAIN RIPPED ME OFF! He refused to even talk about it much less make it right. These people are the worst example of abusive auto repair shops. They do not know what they are doing and they act like it is somehow all my fault even though I paid if full before I even saw the car. The real mechanic that fixed the car said I will be lucky if the transmission lasts and Noel's Autos work could have killed me or some poor guy on the road when he gave me a car with no brakes. When I confronted him he told me I inconvenienced him by "dumping my crappy car on him". DRIVE TO A REAL SHOP IN SANTA ROSA. These guys will destroy your car, keep your money and insult you to boot. SAY AWAY!!!!!!! We have filed a complaint with the bureau of Auto Repair and filed a suit in court. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. read more

I was traveling and my "tire sensor light" came on. I stopped at Noel's Automotive and they were so friendly, helpful and fixed the sensor light. There was no charge. What a wonderful group of people they are. Highly recommend. read more

This shops reputation precedes itself. Stop in after needing a tire repaired, got there before they were open and the owner told me to just drop it off and he will get it done within 10-15 mins. I came back and tire was fixed, the actual work performed wasn't that notable honestly. What exceeded my expectations and what seems like a rarity these days in business is a marketing culture within his company. From the mechanic working in the shop, the other guys working around the shop to what I assumed to be the owner. Solid, on point customer service without the feel of over reaching, kissing behind to get a good review. I will most certainly as I have family living in Guerneville take my vehicles to this shop if they have time and it works out. I will go out of my way to ensure my business goes here. read more

Unfortunately my first experience with this shop was great. This review is for my second experience. I stopped in a week prior to see if I could get a simple oil change for the next week. I was told it was doable by Josh. He asked me to leave my name and number so that if my appointment for whatever reason could not work they would call me. I called the day prior to see if I still had my appointment and they said they did not have me down. I was informed that the number I gave them did not work. The employee reading the phone number misread it that was why I was not able to be reached. I wanted to support local, and I had such a great experience a couple of years prior that I wanted to take my car in to them to give them my business. Unfortunately just an overall bad customer service experience. Not even an apology that they could not reach me. I would have gone in to my scheduled appointment and had a very bad experience! Josh and Noel's Automotive need to do better. Especially with the locals. read more

Have used Noel's Automotive twice for repairs. One major and one that turned out to be very minor. Personal friends with people who referred us and reported very good experience at this automotive repair shop. I TRUST the mechanics at this business. As a couple of men who know a few things about our own professions but very little about how to diagnose and fix cars, it means a lot to us to find a business like this. Five PLUS Stars. This auto repair shop is run like I would if it was my own business. read more

Can't say enough good things about Noel's Automotive....Have been bringing my vehicles (Old Toyota Camry and Old Dodge Van) to Chris there for over 10 years and have always been more than satisfied with the quality of work, the reasonable cost, and the honesty and professionalism of the mechanics... Having car problems is very stressful to most of us but Chris is just so nice, patient and honest in explaining what the problem might be and how much it might cost....and then he follows thru with the repairs on time and within budget... Having two old vehicles automatically means lots of different problems with them and it's very rare that Chris can't fix them...and if he can't, he has a wealth of referrals that I always feel I can trust because he sent me to them... They also service the local Fire Department vehicles...and if that isn't quite a referral I don't know what is... read more

Let me start by saying I hardly ever write reviews.... I was in town to visit family and live about 4.5 hours away. I was 20 minute away from Monte Rio when my engine light began flashing and the engine started shaking. Needless to say, I was pretty annoyed. I dropped my car off at Noel's Automotive on a Thursday morning and spoke with Josh. I advised Josh that was visiting family and was from out of town. Josh was very helpful and professional. He had my vehicle fixed by 1 o'clock and for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Noel's Automotive and am so glad that I trusted them with my vehicle. read more

As a single woman, going to the mechanics, gives me more anxiety than going to the dentist! No matter, how small a job I think it will be, there are always additions 'that need fixing' every single time, and have never ever left a garage with a bill less than 1k. I finally found a mechanics, that I would recommend, EVEN if you do not live in the area, it is worth it. The staff are friendly, helpful and very informative. I have finally found a garage that I trust, thankfully. I will be going back here with any type of repairs. read more

It's terrible when you're by yourself, your car breaks down and you have no idea where to take it because you're not home. Fortunately I found Noel's. They gave me great service and charged me a fair price. They also gave me a ride back to where I was staying and picked me up when the car was fixed. They didn't make much on this job but I'll be back and I will highly recommend these guys. Again thanks! read more

Chris and Josh are doing an amazing job with this place. Needed a new radiator and they hooked it up for a very fair price. Even dropped me off at home! Can't say enough good things about my experience here. You won't be dissapointed. read more

Wow! So happy with the quality and affordability of their work. The rear brake lines on my Subaru Outback ruptured from years of corrosion. First, I made the mistake of taking it to 'Big O' tires and brakes in Sebastopol CA. They took a look at it and said "This will cost more than the value of the car to repair. You should just throw it away and buy a new car" and sent me on my way. I was about to call Pick & Pull to haul it away, but I went to Noels for a second opinion, and they told me 'No problem, we can do this in a matter of hours' and completely replaced the brake lines for under $400! The brakes work great now. Love it. Chris & team are competent, friendly, honest, sincere and hard working. I'm going to keep coming back. read more

My boyfriend and I were in Monte Rio because we had booked a zip-lining experience for our 2 year anniversary just a few minutes away from the shop. We had made it to the place when the cars check battery light lit up as we were pulling in and my boyfriend began to lose power steering. When we got to Noel's they took care of us pretty fast, the car needed a new alternator and would be ready by the next morning. We didn't plan for an overnight trip so we had no idea where to stay or how to get around so Josh (Noel's service advisor) kindly recommended a place close by to stay and even offered to drive us there when we figured out it would take longer than expected to walk there (it was also very hot). The car was done earlier than expected the next morning and Josh made sure to get us a discount for it being our anniversary. If it weren't for their exemplary customer service we could've been much more stressed than we already were. So thank you to Josh, Jon, and Chris you're doing amazing! read more
