Such great service! We took our 1992 Ford F150 into Fincher's recently for a brake job. This is our work truck we've had for many years, not a looker. Not only did they do great job on the brakes but Jacob saw that our tail lights were broken out and fixed with plastic film. He found a new lens in his shop, bought another one, and popped them in. A sweet surprise! The truck looks so much better now and stops too. This is the kind of service Fincher's is known for and the kind that will keep us coming back. A local treasure! read more

A Healdsburg family business. Great family. Great service. I read a few of the negative comments. I have to say I've been going to them since the 80s. I have never seen or heard bad behavior coming from this shop. This is a loving and caring family business. read more

I needed service on a Saturday, called Fincher and got no answer. Big O answered right away and told me to come on over. Turned this anti-franchise-pro-family-business-snob into a believer! read more

Overall check up and some estimates. I really trust their opinion and suggestions. They have experience and the stand behind their work .

I have been going to Fincher's for years and they are the best. Straight shooters, awesome mechanics and great customer service. They have kept my 2003 Chevy truck humming for years and I have their trust. read more

The folks at Fincher's are the best. Women are the face of this business and they are straightforward and honest. No one likes worrying about their car and they make it easy, simple and quick. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

This place is horrible. Took my vehicle in for a diagnostic, some creep mechanic named Doug went through my personal items, found my professional photos, then contacted me with sexually explicit messages, said his wife was fat and not good in bed! I made a complaint and was told contact by owner would be made, I have heard nothing! read more

I came in to have my 2019 Hyundai Veloster inspected and I have to say this is an honest and fair priced business. They also gave me a quote for new spark plugs and ignition coils and I couldn't believe how reasonable it was. This is my new repair shop. Period. read more

2 decades of outstanding service with honesty and great pride to fix your car. Not to mention "better than fair" prices. Actually, I stopped a long time ago looking at the invoices... The power of trust, it is something! What else can I say? read more

Been going to finches for a couple of years now and they are super fair, great work. He's saved us a lot of money over the years.

DeAnna and Jacob were so kind today and helped me with an issue with my Toyota Corolla. Having moved here recently from New York City, I'm reminded today through their courtesy how glad I am to be living in a smaller town and to have the privilege of interacting with a family-run business with deep expertise and close ties to the community. Thank you, DeAnna and Jacob! read more

I can't praise Fincher's Auto Service enough. The quality of work, their customer service, their expertise and honesty are extraordinary. My truck has beyond 200k miles on its back, and these guys keep it running like new. You're in good hands with this wonderful family operation. I highly recommend this business! read more

Amazing service from start to finish. Great COVID practices. My husband and I are new to Healdsburg and we have found our mechanic. Thank you everyone at Fincher for being honest, friendly and reasonable. read more

Tim Fincher and his family run the BEST auto repair shop that I've ever been to. I have two Ford trucks, a 2019 F250 Superduty diesal and a 1996 F250 heavy 4x4. The 1996 purrs like a kitten, springs to life even on the coldest mornings, marvelous heat/air and roaring acceleration. Keeps up with traffic. All because of the years of great care by outstanding mechanics: Tim Fincher. read more

Amazing family and wonderful service. Helped get my car towed and taken care of and when they realized they couldn't do the work they made a excellent recommendation for another company. Honesty, integrity and service like this is almost impossible to find these days. Use them with confidence. read more

We have been customers of Tim & Deanna and the family for years and they have shown great skill and care for us and our vehicles through thick and thin. Recently we had to count on our vehicles to preserve our safety and security and thanks to Finchers maintenance and service both vehicles performed as needed. Having confidence in our cars was key to working our way through wild fire evacuation. Thanks Tim & Deanna! read more

Honest and fair about price and what our vehicles need. I'm glad that I decided to come back to their service after my last visit in 2007. Still great today as they were in early 2000 when I used them exclusively to repair my old F250 and GMC then now with our Volvo suv and the F350. Will no longer use the other mechanic who always flake on me and I always gave him many chances. Too many! They always try to finish job on timely manner and call us if they need to tell us more about the problem. read more

My family and I have used Fincher's for about 20 years and recommend it regularly. He has maintained vehicles that we're looking to keep "perfect" as well as older vehicles that we're only looking to keep "functional and safe." This is a surprisingly hard-to-find service. I can say that I don't have a single instance where I would question that he sold me something I didn't need... and in a couple instances where I had points of comparison... they came in less expensive than others and recommended an approach that saved me hundreds of dollars. read more

The few honest mechanics out there and great people to know. We lived in Healdsburg for many years and trusted Tim and his son Jacob, they never steered us wrong. read more

I was driving from Marin to Geyserville and my oil light came on on a Friday afternoon. I pulled off the exit hoping a Chevron might be able to help me and was so lucky to stumble upon Fincher. I'd had extensive issues with my oil system earlier this year and was worried. They immediately took care of my car, even as I interrupted the other work they had. They quickly topped me off and assured me I'd be ok for the drive to and from where I was headed. They were so kind and helpful and I am super grateful. Thank you!!! read more

He had my car for a few days to diagnose a problem that in my "girl" language was - it doesn't shift when I first start it, and then later it's fine. He checked it out, then then he called me. $25 later - that's right $25 I'm happy and on the road again. He's amazing. He never tries to sell you something you don't need. He's kind, courteous and his office staff is on top of it. WHY oh WHY would you take your car anywhere else? read more

Tim is the absolute best. We've been taking our cars there for years. He is totally trustworthy and on site all the time. As he says "if I'm not here no one is working" He even straightened out the bumper of my husband's truck at no charge "because he couldn't have him driving around town with the truck looking like that knowing that He was our mechanic" read more

This is the place to go when you need service, they are honest and will give it to you straight. They only charge you for what is broke or needs repair, nothing more, nothing less. Don't take your auto to a non license mechanic at Healdsburg Hot Rods, if you do... Fincher won't even think twice about it, won't touch your car. Had to find a specialist to fix that issue. But we take our other cars to Fincher's and their the best. read more

Friendly, fast and honest. They did a great job on my Subaru Outback. I needed a big 150000 mile maintenance and they were able to get it done in one day. I was able to drop off my car and leave the keys in the lock box. There is as great and friendly communication throughout. Highly recommend! read more

Simple... Trustworthy, Good, Inexpensive. Tim is the perfect mechanic. He's inexpensive because he doesn't do anything that doesn't actually need to be done. He's good because I've never left his shop and had to return. The issues I've gone in for were fixed, and no issues that just popped up after leaving. He's trustworthy because... He has saved me money by not doing work I asked for. "Not worth it". It would have been worth it for him to take my money. But he didn't. Oh ya, He also saved me about $400. on my BMW'S 40,000 mile service and replaced an ebrake wire for free. I didn't ask for it. He just did it. Fincher is Solid. I will never go anywhere else! read more

The best service you can get in Hburg, hands down. Honest prices and the know how to keep you on the road.

Don't even look at other repair shops, there's no point. I recently moved to Healdsburg and my car broke down. My neighbor told me to have it towed to Fincher and it was some of the best advice I've ever received. Being a girl I'm always afraid of auto guys ripping me off, especially with my boyfriend out of town and my dad in a different country. They fixed it in one day and it ended up costing less than they quoted me. Amazing and honorable service, what more could you ask for?! read more

We are lucky to have a reliable, fair and reputable family run business in town to service our vehicles!

Called to set up an appointment to have a starter replaced. Was told he wasn't interested in the job, used foul language to describe how he didn't want to deal with the work, and didn't even offer to schedule something for a future date. Would never consider working with these people. read more

This review is a long time coming.... Tim has repaired every vehicle I own for the last 15-20 years .....saved me tons of time and money by bailing me out on several occasions.... Absolutely the most honest and knowledgeable mechanic I've ever met. read more

I've taken my cars to Tim since the early 90's. He's honest, thorough, dependable and stands by his work! He, family, and team are a real asset to the community. He deserves five stars and more for taking such good care of our cars and us. John T. read more

I have had my many cars and all of my familys cars serviced at Finchers over the past 8 years and can say with absolute certainty that I have never felt more comfortable or been treated better by any auto mechanics ever. Tim and Deanna Fincher and son are the real deal and are also native Healdsburg folks. It is a small town and your reputation matters. I have the utmost respect for Finchers and will always recommend them based on my excellent experiences over the years with them. They are the best! Thank you Tim and Deanna! read more

I'm writing some Yelp reviews of my favorite businesses in honor of Thanksgiving 2017. I don't want to take them for granted any longer. I've been a devoted customer of Tim Fincher Auto Repair for more than twenty years. I remember the first time I stopped in with a concern about something under the hood (too far back to remember just what it was). Tim took a look and made an adjustment. I asked how much I owed him. Nothing. I was so grateful for him taking the time out to make sure I was safe, but asking for nothing. Tim has given me excellent advice on potential purchase of used vehicles, on whether to keep fixing one I've got, and doesn't ever up-sell. We get regular oil changes, and he knows our vehicles well. He recommends just what we need and has integrity that doesn't stop. When it comes to questions about vehicles, I trust him completely. Deanna is efficient and kind, and their whole operation is a family business that makes Healdsburg proud. It might be surprising that an auto mechanic has so many five star reviews, but anyone who knows Fincher's is not surprised at all. read more

This is the best mechanic that I have ever been to. They are honest and affordable. I feel like they go above and beyond to treat me the best and make sure that I am happy with their service. I will always take my cars there no matter how far I have to drive to get there. read more

I had the misfortune of having a breakdown near Healdsburg (85 miles from home). My vehicle was towed to Fincher's Auto Repair and they were very accommodating and helpful getting me back on the road quickly and quite affordability too. read more

I found Fincher thru a local roadside service guy, that highly recommended Tim. Tow truck driver could tell I needed a belt tensioner for my diesel VW Jetta. He could hear it was too loud. I took a chance, as I've been looking for a new mechanic. Very satisfied with their work , and advice. You don't have to go to the dealer. Keeping it local ! read more

These people won me over immediately. Engine of my 13-year-old Chrysler blew right outside their shop. They did diagnostic work and gently informed me that it was't worth repairing. They were tremendous help arranging a tow to the wrecking yard, including storing the car for a couple days. And the bill was extremely reasonable. I trust this shop 100%! read more

Tim and his wife are the best. Tim is as honest as the day is long and coming from someone who is usually very skeptical of mechanics, that's a huge complement. Tim never does work that doesn't absolutely need to be done and only charges customers his cost for parts - no mark-up. I would never take my car anywhere else and trust Tim completely. read more

Fincher Automotive is the BEST! We have been taking our cars there for over a decade, Tim NEVER does an unnecessary repair, he is as impeccably honest as they come! Highly recommended! read more
