**The review stays** I know why the owner called me, to ask…read morethat I take the review down. But after he explained how busy they are and can't be bothered with anything less than a $3500 job, it made me even more upset that I was not told that while I was being screened for worthiness . Instead I was made to think I'd be getting a call back. He happily explained that I'd be better off going to Home Depot and buying some plastic to cover my wall until the off season in December. Only then would anyone give me the time of day. I am tired of shady people and they should look a little closer at their business ethics.

I hired Metro to install some windows and fix 2 decks. At the time I thought they did an adequate…read morejob. I then hired them to rebuild a simple small deck. They subcontracted it ( which I think they do on most jobs) to 2 workers who only came on Sunday and only communication with the GC was via pictures and a translation app. They were incredibly inconsiderate and left trash everywhere. To the best of my knowledge the GC never came until the project was falling apart. The deck was missing joist brackets ( per code) , the cuts were all way off, wood was splintering in half making the stability very dangerous. And more to the point, my contract said build the deck the same as the old. They said they couldn't . Of course not, when you buy stringers for 6 steps and there were only 3 steps on the old deck. Ben went ballistic and swore at me when I tried to point these things out. This put the steps at the end of the platform. I have since hired someone else and they had no problem solving the problem by using stringers for 3 stairs. With a new GC, they noticed the previous 2 decks they built had the wrong nails and they did not pre-drill the holes. Hence wherever they secured the boards have severely buckled. My new rebuilt deck has no buckling, as every deck I have seen with trex. Some boards were coming loose because they did not hit all holes. I have pictures to back up everything in this review. In short, the workers were not skilled enough to do the job unsupervised and they were not supervised. A former worker told me they were paid very little. This says to me they got cheap unskilled people to do the work. My best advise is go else where

This is an old brick house and the footings are several widths of brick laid directly on the soil, not concrete. The reinforcement is to pour some concrete walls under the footings to support them and to stabilize the soil walls of the tunnels. They also poured concrete to stabilize another area where soil had been eroding under the footing. We also had them remove an unused brick planter next to the wall. The estimator, Lance Heimes, did a very thorough study of the area and then carefully described to us the recommended work. Because of his attention to detail and good explanations I had a lot of confidence in his recommendations. The work went smoothly and looks good upon completion. The weak point with this company was communication. I had to call them up to find out when the work was scheduled, and even then we were never sure when the workers would show up. They also sent me the final invoice for the work when the work was only about half-done, rather than upon "substantial completion" as provided in the contract. They did finish the work a day or two later, so it worked out OK, although for a while I was worried that they had forgotten to finish the work.

I have revised my review and it is not a positive one. I am going to file a BBB complaint as well…read more I had to hire another Landscaping Contractor to fix the issues left behind regarding the SOD/Sprinkler system rezoning/Sprinkler head installation (Front yard). FRSR made promises that were put in the estimate I received and things sounded great--but many of them were not honored after they left. Communication was spotty at best, and they did not respond to my concerns after completing the job. The project scope required a new wireless sprinkler system which was never installed. Additionally, They never called to confirm I was happy when they left. They were supposed to come out and inspect and test the sprinkler system since it was re-zoned for the front yard. This never happened. They never returned to finish performing the initial spring sprinkler start-up routine to ensure all the zones and sprinkler heads were set up and working properly. As a result, many areas of my lawn died and I had to go with another Landscaping company to resolve the issues with sprinkler heads (some missing parts). This cost me thousands of dollars. Any attempt to get them to fix the issues and install the wireless sprinkler controller was met with excuses or no return phone calls. I feel they really do not care about their customers since they never contacted me or performed any follow-up after they got their final payment. This might be a tactic they use to avoid accountability. Their contract is airtight in their favor, so don't expect them to honor anything not explicitly written. Save yourself the headache and thousands of dollars. There are many reputable landscapers in Colorado--FRSR is not one of them.

Unprofessional, Dishonest, and Frustrating…read more I wish I had read the reviews before hiring FRSR. From the start, they made verbal promises that sounded great--but none of them were honored. Communication was spotty at best, and when they did respond, it often felt evasive or misleading. The project dragged on for weeks with long gaps of inactivity, leaving my yard half-finished and looking like a construction zone. When they finally "completed" the job, the results were sloppy: weed barrier sticking out, uneven concrete with discoloration, and cracks forming within months. Any attempt to get them to fix issues was met with excuses or accusations of being "hostile"--a tactic they seem to use to avoid accountability. Their contract is airtight in their favor, so don't expect them to honor anything not explicitly written. Save yourself the headache and thousands of dollars.
