ABC Concrete (Wil Stevens) gave me a timely bid for a walkway and driveway. It went downhill from…read morethere. The crew showed up late. The work was not professional. Cleanup was a word they hadn't learned the meaning of. We had high forms set and the driveway was given different textures. Saw cuts were part of the bid and they just grooved the joints and some joints were not continuous and crooked. They destroyed my existing steps (which I asked to leave in place) with brick facings during demo and did not allow new concrete forms to have enough room to replace the bricks. The steps they installed are uneven They chipped off a piece of my new siding and got slop on the white garage doors. Their equipment leaked oil all over the street. They left mud and concrete footprints on the sidewalk and street and never came back to clean up. There was no portable toilet on the job site so workmen leaned against their pickup truck to relieve themselves and left urine in the gutter. Wil Stevens never came out to check on any part of the job. After the job was done, the workmen left without a word. I called Wil Stevens to voice my dissatisfaction with the job. He agreed to come out and take a look at the work. He never showed up and there was no more contact from ABC Concrete, period. If you contemplate using ABC, my best advice is RUN! Do not even give them a consideration.

The owner, Matthew, is a former roofer and he also checked the roof, which he says is in good condition. With leaks you don't know until the next storm whether it is really fixed, but I was impressed with the thorough inspection job they did. I contacted them through Yelp's Request a Quote feature. They called back the same morning and came to inspect the job at Noon, and did the work ten days later, so they provide very speedy service.

I hired Discovery Concrete to pour 3 slabs of concrete. It's the sloppiest job I have ever seen,…read moreand it's obvious they simply didn't care about the shape or placement of the pads. I paid my landscape architect to spraypaint lines and drive stakes indicating the boarders for the pads. Wasted money - the lines were ignored. My basketball court was supposed to be 17 by 25 feet, and parallel to my fence. What I got was 18 feet on one end, 16' 9" on the other. The sides were 25' 5" and 26 feet. None of the corners are 90 degrees. The hot tub pad was not squared to the house so I paid my landscaping contractor fill in gaps. They buried a utility cable I had specifically requested not be buried. I had planned to paint boundaries, a key and foul line on my basketball court, but with such a crooked pad, the only thing I can think to paint now would be a giant clown face, so people might be able to laugh at it. It will be a while before I can. So if you are still tempted to hire Discovery Concrete after reading this review, well, that's on you.

I had trusted A Clean Sweep to continue doing a good job after I had already used them several…read moretimes to clean out my stove pipes from built up soot. But when they installed a new stove, only one person showed up and he was new and ended up dropping the stove because he couldn't get it up the stairs on the deck. After the install, the stove has leaked, causing my windows to smoke up and the carbon monoxide detector to go off. And the worst part is, Randy won't take responsibility for it and so I am being forced to file a complaint with Larimer County and take legal action.
