5 stars company across the board! Very professional and knowledgeable crew, from the bid process through the clean up at the end. The bid was higher than others, but I chose it anyway because right from the first call it felt right. The owner showed up on time to take measurements for the bid, and email me the bid shortly after. All my questions have been answered and the process was explained to me in detail. The crew showed up on time on job day, was respectful to my property and never overstepped their boundaries. The job was done in a timely manner as agreed, and above all looks GREAT! ABC Concrete (Wil Stevens) gave me a timely bid for a walkway and driveway. It went downhill from there. The crew showed up late. The work was not professional. Cleanup was a word they hadn't learned the meaning of. We had high forms set and the driveway was given different textures. Saw cuts were part of the bid and they just grooved the joints and some joints were not continuous and crooked. They destroyed my existing steps (which I asked to leave in place) with brick facings during demo and did not allow new concrete forms to have enough room to replace the bricks. The steps they installed are uneven They chipped off a piece of my new siding and got slop on the white garage doors. Their equipment leaked oil all over the street. They left mud and concrete footprints on the sidewalk and street and never came back to clean up. There was no portable toilet on the job site so workmen leaned against their pickup truck to relieve themselves and left urine in the gutter. Wil Stevens never came out to check on any part of the job. After the job was done, the workmen left without a word. I called Wil Stevens to voice my dissatisfaction with the job. He agreed to come out and take a look at the work. He never showed up and there was no more contact from ABC Concrete, period. If you contemplate using ABC, my best advice is RUN! I will never work with this company and I suggest that you avoid them as well. Back in June (2015) I tried to contact ABC to get an estimate for the work I wanted done. We were trying to get a walkway and back patio done. I called them up to schedule the estimate and was told by the person on the phone that I would get a call back shorty to schedule. Little did I know, they use a third party calling service for all their calls. I did not receive a call back within the same day, so I reached out again. After going back and forth with the calling service, Wil, the owner, finally contacted me. He explained they they were busy and that the calling service should have instructed me not to expect a call back for 3-4 days. This sort of business practice was unheard of for me. I should have listened to my instincts because this was setting the theme for my whole experience. Wil scheduled the estimate and came out. He was a very personable guy in and seemed very knowledgeable about the process. He seemed very willing to talk through my requests and was very clear about what I should expect in the estimate. The estimate came promptly from them - this was the ONLY thing that was prompt. After debating for days, I decided to sign the bid and faxed it over to them. I sent an email with it that explained I had faxed the bid and was looking forward to scheduling the work as soon as possible. I didn't expect a response from them for 3-4 days based on my previous experience, so I waited. 2 WEEKS passed and I heard nothing back from them. I received no phone call or email to even let me know the signed bid was received. A MONTH passed before I even heard back from them after I both emailed and called frustrated. They emailed me to tell me my work was scheduled and the dates and times it was for. Let me be clear, they NEVER contacted me to find out my availability or when I wanted the work done. They TOLD me when it was happening. So here I am on the day of the scheduled work. Guess what? They NEVER showed in the allotted time. I have taken the day off of work to be here. I have called their calling service 4 times now, starting an hour after they were meant to be here, and they still have not bothered to call me back. I don't know if they can do concrete work and I will hopefully never know as their customer service is TERRIBLE - the worst I have ever experienced. I have requested a cancellation of the work and the bid but they have failed to contact me in response. read more

ABC concrete installed our first patio and front walk in 1997, and installed our new driveway in 2021. The patio was finished with a textured window pane finish. The patio lasted for 25 years, and we liked it so much, we decided to replace the patio in a different color, but with the same finish. Because We had an excellent driveway experience with ABC, we contracted with them to pour the new patio in addition to a fire pit surround. Everyone we dealt with from the office staff to the project manager (Michael), to Anthony the crew foreman, to the concrete installers/finishers was professional and courteous. Our new patio and fire pit are the star attractions of the backyard, and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the work. Also, the installers took great care to avoid damaging our many plantings around both the patio and the fire pit, very impressive. Two of the installers had actually worked on our original patio 25 years ago. You don't get any more experienced than that. Highly recommend ABC concrete! read more

Are you looking for a company with Integrity, Workmanship and High Standards? You won't find it here... ABC CONCRETE IS NOT FOR YOU! My driveway is less than a year old and is cracking and crumbling. On August 6th I was rear ended by one of ABC Concrete's work trucks. After the driver presented the incorrect insurance card, he then left the scene before the police arrived and had to be called back. The owner showed up and assured me he would cooperate and make sure my car was fixed. 35 days later he has still not even contacted his insurance companies adjuster assigned to the claim. Did you know the insurance company will not pay out until they have heard from their insured? Even if there is a police report showing they are at fault? I called the owner and asked him to please contact The insurance adjuster. He bold straight lied stating that he did. Talked to the adjuster yesterday and she claims she has heard nothing. Now my insurance company is involved and will have to pay my claim but they will be going after his insurance company for the damages. I tell you this to show you that this company is dishonest and are not accountable for their actions. read more
