Chase put the bid together on the spot, while thoroughly explaining each line item. There was no attempt to upsell or pressure to make an immediate decision. HomeStrong's bid turned out to be the lowest price, had a great warranty, and included everything we needed. I got a good vibe based on the professional manner in which the bid was prepared. I had a unique issue that required a structural engineer evaluation, which was included in the bid. Lalo and Daner arrived as scheduled to do the crawl space and had to alter the original plan a bit. They completed the project in two days (original estimate was three) and everything was left clean. They were friendly, polite and seemed to genuinely care about making sure I was satisfied. After accepting the bid, I did have to reach out to Chase a couple of times when there delays in communication. He was able to get things moving quickly. Overall, I was very satisfied and can recommend HomeStrong for crawl space encapsulation.

Job 1 (foundation). Workers good guys and by appearances competent to do job, as was the materials used. They had to bring in backhoe for our 6 ft foundation (we live on hillside with springs where houses commonly shift)- I checked on work and it seemed sound. However, they ran day behind and we had to leave when they backfilled and finish that part of job. It had rained previous 2-3 nights and basically they left yard in a mess that will necessitate me bringing in a landscaper to repair (i.e. more than the topsoil disruption they put in contract- dirt clods the size of soccer balls 25 ft away from foundation wall). My recommendation- make absolutely sure you are present to see finished job before you let them leave- I would never have approved the mess they left the yard in. Not really their fault as they were moving mud vs dirt, but they should've left it and came back the next week to finish. Job 2 (driveway and front approach leveling). It turned out this was an unachievable outcome & there is still 2.5 inch "trip" edge between driveway and garage floor. They should never has bid the job. We contested the job as a breach of contract since goal of job not even close to achieved. Gen Mgr came out & agreed. On my threat to taking to small claims court, they refunded me most of cost of that job. Again, they were responsive to my concerns & outcome OK in the end as avoided court hassle. Lesson here: think about what they are proposing is even possible before agreeing to it. The suggestion is that the job solicitors are working on a commission. If you doubt it can be done, it probably can't- have them describe EXACTLY how they will achieve the proposed outcome. Again, no problem whatsoever with the employees- all did their jobs well.

As a Realtor, my clients expect me - and rightfully so - to set appointments for them so they do not have to worry about any issues. Well, I have never had as much difficulty trying to give a company business as I have with this one. I guess when you're big enough you can afford to be arrogant. I will never refer or use this company regardless of how many 5-star reviews they have. Customer service is EVERYTHING in real estate. This company clearly flunked that class.

From the very beginning Travis made it clear that his wish wasn't necessarily to be the lowest-cost bidder but to be the highest quality with the best possible service and he delivered perfectly on-time and at a very competitive total cost. Nate (the project manager) did a fantastic job with the day-to-day coordination always making sure who was coming next and when to expect them. He came by several times himself to inspect the work and made himself fully available at any time for questions or advice I might have, chief among which was selecting the right mini-split to meet the HVAC needs of the office. In summary the project couldn't have gone better and I now consider both Travis and Nate good friends and would be extremely proud to recommend them to anyone looking for any type of remodeling/ construction project on their home! Berthoud is their home as well, they are members of our community and I'd just encourage anyone with a remodeling/ construction project to support local and give them the highest possible consideration! An engineer from Level Engineering & Inspection LLC in Loveland came out, did some measurements & went in my crawlspace to see the problem. The company put in 2 beams. When finished, I stated that the floor still felt some sagging. I recall it being suggested that any more raising may cause the walls to crack. I found out those men don't work there anymore. 3 years later I had that 2021 permit pulled for the work and found that first it had been FAILED but a statement from the inspector said it may pass if he received a letter of explanation from the engineer. It was then PASSED on her letter stating the beams were "structurally acceptable" and that it had "(4)- 7 1/4" LVL beams" that don't require blocking. But this was UNTRUE being there were only (3)- 7 1/4" LVL beams and, I think, needed roll blocking. Then I had it inspected again in 2025 and the new permit was FAILED due to " beams not constructed per engineer's letter" and "splices at beams need to be on bearing points". LBD and Level Engineering & Inspection LLC had constructed 2 new beams about 5 feet away from the original beams and placed 5 feet more load for the opposite floor to carry, no wonder it still had a sag. There work cost me over $11,000. I have since had corrections done by a company I can trust. I wrote the companies and Owner stating my objections and asked for my money back. For the second time I have not heard from them on my request. Please STAY AWAY from these sister companies, I think you may regret it ! Ellen, Greeley, CO.

We are lucky to have been put in touch with Level Engineering and Chris, the engineer on our project. Throughout the project, Chris has been easy to get a hold of, great at explaining things, upfront about pricing, and fantastic at meeting (and beating) deadlines. He has gone above and beyond to help us ensure we have had everything we needed for our project to get approved, including several site visits and even proactive contact with the reviewer at the City of Denver. We would not have had a clue where to start when it came to all of the required plans and paperwork, so feel fortunate to have had Chris on our team throughout this project. He's done great work and we'd definitely use Level Engineering again if the need surfaces.
