Our house is on a difficult site; it is a tall, multi-story detached zero-lot-line home that required all the windows and skylights replacing. Instead of making a big deal about the location and state of the windows and trim, the height of the house, and the proximity of the neighboring house and trees, he examined each window carefully and gave me a quote that was very competitive. I had received 8 different quotes from manufacturers and contractors for replacement windows and had no hesitation in giving Rucon.build the contract. When the replacement window project stated, he and his crew worked quickly and professionally and his team got the majority of the 18 windows and patio doors installed in the first day. The crew worked for almost 10 hours continuously that day. The second day was spent completing the remaining windows and trim, performing the usual touch-ups, caulking, and clean-up; both inside and outside the house. At all times, Victor kept me informed on what happening on the project and communicated very clearly both to me, my wife, and gave clear instructions to his team. What I really appreciated was the quality of his work, even in the simple things like adding trim around some vent covers that had never been correctly installed previously - something that I hadn't even considered. The quality of his work, attention to detail, the accurate cuts, and the clean finish left my wife and I with a very high impression of his skills; and we are both generally hard to please. When the installation of the windows, three patio doors, and basic trim work was complete, ahead of schedule, I asked Victor to work on some additional projects that I was planning to do next year. He worked on some additional weather-damaged siding and trim, and replaced badly rotten handrails on two decks, and painted all the replaced wood. Victor's quoted price and the invoicing was very clear and accurate; there were no surprises and no hidden extras. He and his crew completed every task to my high expectations and satisfaction. He and his team were punctual - Victor and his crew arrived each day on time and worked full days. His team worked very hard and was always polite, personable, and likable. After seeing the amount and quality of the work they performed on my house in one week, I am confident in their skills and experience to handle even difficult interior and exterior projects. We decided to use Quartzite and understood there would be a number of challenges ahead, including very tight budget and time constraints. We had several contractors working simultaneously, and inevitably hit budget overruns and time delays. We interviewed and worked with several other major countertop vendors, and not only did their customer service leave much to be desired, but our selected vendor fell through at the last minute because they oversold their material. When we reached out to Evergreen, from the start everything was different. We were dealing directly with the owner, who supported us through the whole process, from slab selection to fitting, installation and everything in between. The quote was highly competitive and market-aware, payment was very straight forward and, though we had minor unforeseen issues, they were completely and masterfully handled. Even after the installation was done, we needed help with an issue that was totally outside his responsibility. In the end, we came out ahead of our remodel schedule, within budget, and with a fantastic kitchen. Truly, cannot recommend it further!

Humph!.... Either you do... ? Or You Don't!…read more We wanted to consider a lazy-Susan for a blind-corner. .. our contractor worked with Krafter's land kitchen planner. Krafter's land only sales 'standard' cabinets. A standard Lay-Susan is 35 X 35 with a door opening of about 12-inches on each side. .. so.... How did my NON-Standard 33 X 33" lazy Susan come with 6" openings?.. 3-to- 6" inches less than the standard opening? I have three-Blind-Corners. Krafter's COULD-NOT accommodate a cabinet that would fill this whole area. They wanted me to accept a cabinet that would only fill part of this space. Hmmmm! Aren't blind corners a standard? And they don't accommodate? The planner's ambition seemed to desire to fill my walls with cabinets... it did not matter if the lower cabinets were aligned with the upper cabinets... did not matter. Putting in a two-door cabinet on one wall and putting two individual single cabinets across the way (thus minimizing my storage space).. and the there are the spacers .... An inch here, three inches there.. all eating up my precious storage space. Oh it Looks Gorgeous.... But nothing is aligned--- 4 cabinets up top, three on the bottom and none of the lines match. The cabinets themselves are beautiful!.... And I am a baker. I asked for roll-out shelves/drawers.... My baking shelf has 10# white flour, 10# wheat flour, 5# of both white and brown sugar..... guess what?.... Their roll-out shelves can-NOT carry this kind of a load... this load will cause dragging and musfunction. Hmmmm And the final clincher..... you buy- puck up and install--- they are yours. No returns. But they are pretty!

Love my new LVP floors!…read more With my hectic schedule, I was on a time constraint and needed my floors done ASAP. I walked in with a floor color in mind, budget, and was set on LVP material. I found the floor I wanted (on sale!) showed Ryan, and he informed me that it was in stock. He then squeezed me in for an estimate that same day, and was able to drive to my house after his lunch break to take measurements. After he took measurements, he got back to me that evening with the quote break down. I was pleased that it came in 4K lower than the previous contractors. Once I confirmed that I wanted to move forward, I went to the show room (after the long l weekend) and Ryan was able to set me up for installation a week later.
