Evergreen was the only company I could find that was familiar with IKEA installs, and they have been 100% professional from beginning to end! We've had a bunch of changes and delays due to our own decisions and supply chain problems, and Eduardo has been very flexible and easy to work with. He is so clever, creative in problem-solving and resourceful! When tiny things weren't just right, he didn't make excuses, but instead made coming by to fix them a top priority. He is incredibly friendly - all of our other subs have loved meeting and coordinating with him. He is focused and hard-working, but at the same is patient in explaining his thinking, and is a great teacher when needing to explain something, as well. We thought we were getting someone who simply installs cabinets, but Eduardo is an extremely skilled all-around contractor and a really, really good human being. We have come to trust him completely - we have zero concerns about having him here to work when we are not home or out of town. This week we had several complications due to my own mistakes in scheduling all the different projects involved in a full kitchen remodel (it started out as simply an "update" lol), and Eduardo came by yesterday to talk us through how to make everything work. And he brought materials with him to solve one of our big problems, so that everything will be ready for our countertop install and the plumbers to come back right after that. He resolved everything for us...even helping me with my Spanish so that I can communicate a couple of tricky things to our hardwood floor installers this morning! My husband and I feel incredibly lucky to have discovered Evergreen Construction & Renovations when we were desperate to find someone to install our beautiful new cabinets! Total cost: $15,000 Total duration: 2 months…read more Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Alex the owner/installer promised too much and under delivered. He promised 2 days of installation and 7 days of logistics. It took over two months for him to finish the kitchen, and a total of 7 visits to our property requiring us to take many days off work or to have to ask family or friends to be present every single time. Here is the list of major issues with our installation: 1.He never verified the dimensions we gave him for our kitchen. We measured the entire room, including ceiling height, where the window was, full blown layout. He confirmed that all dimensions were good and nothing needed to be changed. That resulted in size cabinets, and tight space for stove and microwave. Not even an 1/8" so our cabinet doors drag on microwave panel and is chipping the door away. 2. He did not open the shipment before he started the installation. He received only 40% of the material necessary to finish the kitchen so for months, literally months we did not have a Kitchen as he did not do his due diligence like any contactor should do to make sure the material he received was correct and whole. Cooking out of a microwave and cleaning in a bath sink for months, sigh. Just not what I had in mind after a long day at work and a sizable investment. 3. The quality of material is very poor. There is chips and cracks all over the place. Many of the joints are already separating either from bad installation or bad material. 4. He did not communicate with his countertop contractor and did not provide the appropriate dimensions so the stone needed to be modified in our house. Many notches and too much caulking to hide all the imperfections. 5. There was an excuse about everything but no ownership. At the end of the installation, he offered us $250 for delays and lack of performance. That's only 1.6% of how much we paid him, not to mention the days we had to take off of work to be present while he made so many trips to complete it. I strongly recommend you avoid trying to save money. Your sanity is worth more, trust me I made a huge mistake by trusting in his capability as a contractor. Just buy from Costco, at least you can keep them accountable. If I could go back and do it again, I would have gladly paid the $22k to Costco. At least you know they'll do it right.

Our estimate appointment was on December 18, 2020, and we have yet to receive an estimate -- or any sort of follow up contact -- from the company. I have called every few weeks since our appointment, and can't get ahold of anyone. I understand it's a crazy time in general, and we also had our estimate appointment close to the holidays, but this was really disappointing to us. If we hadn't been "ghosted" by Husby, we definitely would have gone ahead with them. Definitely a lose lose here. :(

Again, they did an amazing job with the repair of the floor. Dana and his crew are now my go to person for hardwood floors.

We had Dave and crew demolish and pour a new driveway, curb and two steps our landscaper contractor…read morerequested be added to our back yard porch to incorporate the steps to a new landscape design. One of the two steps was defective: shorter in height than the other, anti-slip grooves that were placed to match original steps were not parallel and evenly spaced. This is a common traditional design/functional feature of the tread. The bottom step lacks a full riser height and will result in a gap between that step and the patio. We knew the step was odd looking but when our landscape designer saw it, he advised us it was poorly done and needed to be redone before the landscape work could be completed. We contacted Dave explaining the problem, asking him to redo the step or refund the cost of that portion of the project. He said he would be by to demolish and redo the step. On the day of the scheduled redo, he was a no show with no message from him. My husband text messaged and called him with no response, he attempted to reach Dave several times. This man does not keep his word. This no-show ghosting is nothing new, as another reviewer indicated he had the same experience, missed appointments TNT Concrete makes with its customers. There is a history on their part as being no shows on days they have committed to work. We now are paying another contractor to have the step replaced, an extra expense we should not have if Dave had taken responsibility and replaced the step or refunded the cost. This is no way to treat customers. I do not recommend this business.
