This location in the Optimist food hall we pretty good and the main reason I went to the Optimist Hall. The reviews of the Pessimist Food Hall weren't that great, so I made the right choice coming here. I am always on a quest for melt-in-your-mouth, moist, flavorful beef brisket and this hit all the marks. It pulled apart like an accordion (the first sign of deliciousness), had a beautiful pink smoke ring, and not too much or too little fat. Yaas! 5 Stars on the brisket, but you do pay a premium for it. They don't have any type of combo platter or anything, and you just order everything a la carte. That's why it adds up. It's probably the first BBQ place I've been to which does that. I added a Pork Taco ($4), Banana Pudding ($5), Mac N Cheese ($5) to my $12 Brisket (1/4 lb) and that adds up, especially with a fountain soda pop (which had free refills so that was good). $30 Lunch? Everything was good but you do need to be a Noble Aristocrat type to make many return visits. It's aptly named due to the price!

We shared a brisket sandwich with fries, and some sliced turkey and coleslaw. We also tried the macaroni and cheese which was the best I've ever had. Everything was delicious.

Came in for a late dinner to unfortunately find they were out of brisket, wings, and mac & cheese. I ended up ordering the pulled chicken and a side of fries. Everything here is à la carte and they don't provide the usual BBQ extras like pickles or bread. My food was ready in about three minutes, which was impressively fast. The pulled chicken was flavorful and enjoyable, but the fries were underwhelming. They were lukewarm, like they had been sitting out for a while. Would come back earlier next time to try their brisket!

Noble Smoke located in the Optimist food court Charlotte NC. Food: The smoke turkey is the star, juicy and tender with a light hint of smoke. The brisket was tender and what you expect your brisket to taste like however in this instant the fat cap was extra thick. The pulled Chicken was dry... I tried to eat it with the sides nevertheless just couldn't finish it. Service: The people behind the counter were so friendly and patient, they took the time to answer our questions also let us do a couple substitutions. Ambiance: Noble Smoke is in a huge food court with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating, serving all different kinds of food.

I was looking forward to a nice brisket lunch. When I placed my order for brisket I was truly disappointed to find one slice of meat in a covered container. $12.00 for this one slice! The taste was good with their sauce but it was a bit fatty. It's unfortunate. They should set the expectation when ordering. Never again.

What to choose ..what to choose...optimist hall has a lot of interesting venders to pick from. This time I went with the classic noble smoke. I've never had this location, we frequent the one off of freedom drive. I appreciate that this smaller installment offers 1/2 pounds of ribs which the other location doesn't. They were amazing as always and a nice treat, I probably wouldn't do this often because it is 14 dollars for just 3 ribs. But nonetheless the ribs were fall off the bone and Smokey delicious. The Brussel sprouts were lacking seasoning and weren't as crispy as I hoped for, but were still good. Fries were good and well seasoned as always.

You could easily slap somebody over this food I God the pulled chicken sandwich, Mac and Cheese, and Brussels. The Mac picture looks underwhelming, but it is packed with flavor. Several sauce a to choose from to elevate your meal. Would definitely go again!

Noble Smoke in Optimist Hall was great. Fast and courteous service. Self-serve drink station. Excellent smoky pork on a soft bun. Creamy, sweet white slaw. Thanksgiving-level macaroni and cheese. Super sweet tea. Great vibes in the Adirondack chairs outside on the turf. All-around excellent experience.

visited the noble smoke in optimist hall today, service was quick & the cashier was very helpful with suggestions on what to order. our food came out in under five minutes and we sat at the counter where the food is also served. it was nice that they had counter space specifically for their patrons, because it can be hard to find a table in optimist on a busy day. what we ordered: brisket sandwiches- delicious flavorful, tender brisket on a soft bun. complimented by their signature bbq sauces. really good! collards- a tad bit sweet, but good if that's what you're into mac & cheese- not my favorite mac & cheese, this was just ok. not solid enough for a baked mac to me. banana pudding- 10/10 sooooooo good! if you get anything from this review, get the banana pudding!

Noble Smoke is one of the places I frequent when I go to Optimist Hall. I almost always get smaller orders of the prime beef brisket and potato salad. I generally order online from my table, and go grab my food whenever it's ready. There are places to sit at the counter, but because of the foot traffic through the general area at Optimist, I prefer a table. I like that they leave a place for you to request modifications when you're ordering online, and they try to accommodate them when they can. For example, I requested a leaner cut of meat if they had it available. They always add the potato salad to my bag after I get there so it doesn't get too warm. I've also tried their chopped Cheshire pork when they were out of brisket for the night (it was late), and that was great too. I usually get at least two of the sauces they have in their self-serve area. Their team has been friendly each time I've gone, and I've never had a bad experience there. Their food and service are consistently great!

They didn't promise "fall off the bone" so I can't expect that, but most places I get ribs they just tear apart. This took work, and the mass of BBQ sauce slathered on makes the surgery a mess. So, that was a bummer. The tots lack creativity or any sort of seasoning which seems like an easy upgrade and a crowd pleaser. Oh well. Maybe I got there in a bad day, but if this is standard then I can't see not going to Noble Smoke next time I need ribs.

The brisket was incredibly tender and juicy -- perfectly cooked with great flavor in every bite. You can really taste the care that goes into the preparation. The portions are also very generous, especially for the price, which is something I always appreciate. I love that they give complimentary hush puppies -- that small touch really makes a difference and adds to the overall Southern BBQ experience. The macaroni and cheese was creamy and flavorful, not dry at all, and the collard greens were absolutely amazing -- seasoned perfectly and full of flavor. Definitely some of the best sides I've had in a while. The white sauce and the sweet heat BBQ sauce were both standouts. The white sauce added a tangy kick, while the sweet heat had the perfect balance of sweetness with just enough spice to keep it interesting. Together, they really elevated the meal. Mac's Speed Shop is normally my go-to spot when I'm craving BBQ, but I decided to try something different this time -- and I'm so glad I did. This place truly exceeded my expectations. Between the quality of the food, the portion sizes, and the overall flavor, I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for delicious, well-seasoned BBQ.

It was a lot of fun but there are definitely some things that would have made this experience a little smoother for us. Overall, the price is very reasonable when split between the group. One very easy and good improvement would be to move the TV screen to the back of the room. It's positioned in the same area as the "stage" so everyone had to turn their backs to read the lyrics which just felt silly. For a room fit for 25, more mics are needed! I think it's 2 per room regardless of the size. The most frustrating part of our experience is that our YouTube queue was somehow shared with another room's. We would add songs, they would delete them. Random songs would show up in our queue, we would delete them. We didn't realize it until about 20 minutes in. When we told an employee about this, they weren't aware and didn't know what to do about it, but that's definitely something that needs to be sorted out for a better experience. Space-wise it's definitely pretty cramped although you could say that it made things more intimate. Food was good though! I've also had a lot of karaoke experiences where tambourines are included for added fun. Definitely wasn't expecting this, but that could be a fun addition! Overall I've had better karaoke room experiences but I would still go back again and recommend to anyone who's never done this before!
