Thank you Nobibi for meeting my sweet tooth and making creamy and deliciously sweet ice cream. My co worker and I got the biscoff and Oreo ice cream they are all in cups and drizzled with the appropriate toppings. In the bottom there are Frosted Flakes which was a surprise. I loved the biscoff as they had crumbles inside and they had a drizzle of caramel. The place has lots of seating and the customer service was great.
This place has the cutest aesthetics but I think it's hard to recreate what it looks like on the menu. It does take a while for the dessert to come out so you can chill in the limited seating area or wait outside. I got the Dubai soft serve - the soft serve is nice and light but for what it was I wish they loaded it up more w toppings. It was like a small dusting of pistachio instead of what they show in the picture. Also, I noticed that there was a huge gap in the middle of the dessert so the ice cream is not as much as you're expecting
AMBIANCE: Cute late-night dessert spot in Convoy. Has small table seating, but can get crowded. You order using their self-serve kiosk and they call out your order. SERVICE: Friendly staff and desserts came out quick. I didn't hear exactly what one of the guys said when I picked up my 2nd cotton candy order (it was that good LOL) but it was along the lines of "you guys must really like cotton candy" and was pretty funny. FOOD: I LOVE cotton candy and will always get it whenever available. They make the cotton candy when you order so it's fresh and for $7, I think it's worth it (although it is literally just sugar). They also have drink pairings where you can get a boba drink with cotton candy on top.
Nobibi more like yes bi bi!! It's such a fun word to say~ I had the pleasure of trying this out recently and it was so good! I got the mango milk and it tasted so refreshing. They give a pretty big amount I feel like two can def share. I didn't know that it was a chain because it's my first time trying it. They have pretty interesting/ trendy flavors like matcha and I think I saw something with Dubai chocolate not too sure and they even have drinks. This would be perfect for summer and it wasn't too sweet which is the highest compliment a dessert can get imo! There are couple tables to sit at, could possibly fit a bigger group. Parking was rough because I went on a weekend but service is pretty fast. It's in a nice plaza with tons of places to eat around!
Crowded! Friday night is hopping at Nobibi!! Even being crowded, they were friendly and fast. We waited only about 5 minutes for our treats. They're made fresh for each order so that's pretty impressive. My wife really loved her Biscoff. I tired it as well and it was very good! My choco was good but I was not a fan of the cone. I assumed it was a traditional waffle cone but I think it ma have been a matcha waffle cone. Definitely not the sweet crunch I was expecting. I will say, this is 100% my opinion and taste preference. The ice cream was delicious and the cone was super crisp, just not for me. Would absolutely grab another sweet treat from Nobibi but would go cup or one of their custom creations.
I visited this location on a weekday while waiting for kbbq. First of all this parking lot is a nightmare, so if you're coming here specifically for dessert after dinner, I'd pass. Otherwise, great place to kill time. Parking is also technically not free. There's a lot of seating instead, great for small groups. They offer a pretty basic dessert drink/soft serve menu with things like mango, chocolate, ube. Also seems like there could be seasonal/rotating items. I got the dubai chocolate softserve - appreciated the attempt at layering but could work on more layers of toppings because it's basically a kinda big cup of soft serve that mainly tastes like chocolate and not much pistachio.
We wanted a refreshing dessert after dinner, and decided to check out Nobibi. I didn't know they actually have quite a few locations, including Indonesia. I got the mango mellow ice cream ($7.99), and it came with crystal pearls and mango chunks spread pretty evenly throughout. The mango puree and cornflakes were mostly at the bottom of the cup so it got a bit too sweet in my last bites. My friend got the strawberry blush ($6.99) which had strawberries, crystal boba and cornflakes. It came with a good amount of strawberry slices, and even had two strawberry pocky sticks at the top. He enjoyed it! The service was pretty quick, and it had a good amount of tables for the amount of customers. The parking was tough because it's in the same plaza as Fire Spot, Tasty Noodle House, and Taco Stand. All in all, this is a solid dessert spot!
It was our first time. Parking can be a bit of a challenge because they are located around several others businesses that share the same lot. We tried the dairy free Dole strawberry mini cloud, it was so good!! I'd definitely order that flavor again! I also ordered the jasmine green tea. The tea was very strong even with sweetener. They have plenty of seating & one single bathroom. Staff is friendly. We will definitely return!
Parking in this plaza was insane. It's a paid lot. More parking on the street or nearby lots, both free and pre pay. This little dessert shop offered ice cream, shakes, cotton candy. We took our nephew and niece here specifically for cotton candy. I like that they offer different sizes but limited by color. Just pink or blue. It came in mini, large, dream cloud or mini cloud. The cotton acts as a "cloud" and surrounds the soft serve or other treats. You must order on the kiosk which was easy because of the photos but I had questions and no one was around to answer because they're all busy prepping orders. We also go: Avocado ice cream - crushed corn flakes, coconut flakes, fresh slices of avocado, vanilla soft serve not ice cream. This was good, not too sweet but $7.99 for a tiny cup was too much when only 1/4 of the avocado was used. Strawberry dole float - strawberry flavor dole whip in strawberry juice topped with 3 slices of fresh strawberries. The juice was too syrupy for me. It's a nice treat if you're already in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Only the cotton candy was worth it for the kids but I wish they made cartoon characters.

I've tried a few different items from here: - Mango Mellow - Light, fruity, refreshing and perfect for a warm day. You get to choose 1 of 6 ice cream flavor options to pair with it. - Milk Ice Cream Flavor - Smooth and creamy, with a nice balance of sweetness. - Mango Milk Ice Cream Flavor - My favorite! Creamy, tropical, and satisfying. It's something I'd come back for. - Peach Tea - Refreshing and not overly sweet, a solid choice if you're in the mood for something lighter. Their color-changing spoons was a nice little surprise! They turn purple when they touch something cold, how neat. Overall, everything I tried was pretty good, and the mango milk ice cream flavor in particular stood out.
Came here twice because it's walking distance from several restaurants. I wanted boba but I figured Nobibi would be a better option than TapEx. They actually don't offer brown sugar boba here, I guess they aren't really known for their drinks. I've tried the Roasted Milk Tea Brulee and the Matcha Biscoff Milk Tea. The Roasted Milk Tea Brulee was definitely better tasting. Even when I've ordered 50% sugar this drink comes out pretty much tasting like 100% sugar. I'm not too sure what I expected out of the Biscoff Matcha, the matcha quality was mid, and the Biscoff crumbles eventually got soggy and sank to the bottom of the drink. Definitely wouldn't come back for the Biscoff Matcha but out of the dessert places available in this plaza I would definitely choose Nobibi over TapEx anyday. Maybe next time I should try their soft serve
I actually found this place by accident. I was picking up my order from Raki Raki and saw the sign that mention ice cream and tea. SAY NO MORE! My all time go to fave boba with no boba is from Vanitea...I honey black tea with ice cream and cheese foam. So I figured they'd have something similar. Unfortunately they didn't....but the ninja ice cream cone caught my eye! I love black sesame ice cream so I wanted to try it! But luckily the person that took my order said it is more of a chocolatey flavor rather than a black sesame. So I asked for his top 3...the one I chose was the Biscoff sundae. It looked so good so I was like, eh let's give it a try. At first I was like ok, it's good, but it's like a basic sundae you get from anywhere. Then I hit the bottom. OMG THE CORNFLAKES WERE A GAME CHANGER! I wish I had known that was going to hit me like a wrecking ball and leave me wanting for more! It turned this sundae from a 3/5 to a definite 5 for me! The shop is nice and clean, good service and great suggestion! I'm stopping in again when I'm in the area!
Came in for a sweet treat after dinner the other night and I saw they have a Dubai chocolate ice cream on the menu. New item. I love anything Dubai chocolate so I ordered it. It was pretty good, I would order it again. The ice cream had a minty flavor to it which was just ehhh in my opinion. I liked the crunchy katayfi all throughout and I really liked the crunchy corn flakes at the very bottom of the cup. The service was good, the workers were nice and the items came out pretty quickly. They do military discount here- FYI. The ambiance is good here, very well lit up and cute, they could use more seating though. Stop by here if you're in the area. read more

Cute spot. Very nice simple decor with some seating. There were 2 employees and they were super quick in getting our orders ready. Ice creams were very delicious. Very smooth and creamy. The affogato was very strong. I probably shouldn't have gotten both the ice cream and the coffee, had affogato overload and massive caffeine crash afterwards lol. Will come again. read more

My new favorite thing now is avocado on ice cream!!! This is a MUST TRY if you're in the San Diego area. For about $8 - you get a soft serve with fresh avocado and corn flakes. The avocado adds an incredible creamy texture to the ice cream. They also have a variety of other sweet treats to try. Plenty of seating and a bathroom inside, however parking can be a nightmare during busy hours. You may have to wait for a car to leave or park on the street. Overall, highly recommend for your dessert fix. The store isn't normally busy. read more
I was craving ice cream that wasn't too sweet, and I'm so happy I tried Nobibi! I got the biscoff ice cream, which is the plain milk base with caramel, cornflakes and a biscoff for the toppings. The milk base ice cream was so delicious and not too sweet. I loved how creamy the ice cream was. The interior is decorated very nicely, and there is a lot of seating. Service was great -- they are friendly and allow you to sample their flavors! I will be back again! :) read more

This is a nice change of pace to the ice cream shops. Depending on the ice cream you get. The taste is a unique fusion. The vanilla is not exactly what you think it would taste like. The vanilla in the fruity pebbles, had a citrus twist to it. It was not overwhelming. It just adds a little something extra. The Oreo's vanilla also had a Cream Cheese taste to it. I loved both. This place has a great upscale design. This place has designs everywhere you look. From the wall paper, to the light pendants. The workers are polite and fast, while taking passion for their making skills. They also have sweet thick coffee options. If you don't have diabetes, jump on one of those. read more

Their ice cream is smooth and creamy, but lacking in taro flavor. The chocolate ice cream did not taste like chocolate and didn't look visually appealing. It was just ok. The Oreo frosty was good. The ambience was very fresh and clean and the service was prompt and pleasant. read more
I love coming to Nobibi on Convoy. My favorite is the avocado with corn flakes, I know it sounds like a weird combo, but it's actually really good. Simple, fresh, and not too sweet. The place is cute and everything always tastes fresh. read more
Just want to start off by saying that finding parking is tough. Definitely need to have patience or park on the street or park far and walk. We were lucky, we found parking. Service was friendly. We ordered an Oreo Ice Cream and Dubai Chocolate Ice cream. Both yummy and delicious. It's a soft serve kinda ice cream and when you get to the bottom there is some yummy crunchy deliciousness. My kids took me to this shop's grand opening special where they had 50% off the entire menu. They ordered a bunch of drinks but got me and their dad the black sesame ice cream. The black sesame ice cream was thick and creamy, and had very strong black sesame flavor. We liked it as it wasn't too sweet. Parking was hard to find--we parked in the neighborhood farther away and walked over. Inside there was a lot of tables and chairs to sit. read more
Nobibi recently opened a franchise ice cream/ tea shop in the Convoy shopping strip and I had to try it. Plenty of free parking in the lot. After looking at the menu which offered lots of variety of flavors. There were some dairy free option made with Dole fruit. I chose the chocolate and taro soft serve ice cream with just a sprinkle of fruit pebbles for visual effect. After a few pics, the first taste was delightful! The chocolate was not too sweet and the taro was a tad sweeter but paired nicely with the fruity pebbles adding a crunch factor. This shop is new and was clean and decorated with neon wall signage and cool background music. The staff behind the counter were nice, helpful and service was expeditious. Self ordering kiosk available and all cashless. Only indoor seating. Would be nice if outdoor seating was available, because this shop attracts lots of people particularly teens and kids who were loud. Nobibi's started 10 years ago in Chino Hills and has expanded with multiple locations domestically and internationally. With it's mission to offer uniquely created desserts that will make you want to return for more, I'd say Nobibi did it, because after enjoying my ice cream treat I will be back for more. ¡¡¡Recommend!!! read more

This place has been in my list. We wanted something sweet and realized this place is open until 11 pm. We came an hour before they closed. A lot of people were still in there but we were able to get a table. The staff were really friendly and the place is super cute and clean. We ordered the following: 1.) Red bean & taro ice cream (red bean, taro paste, and corn flakes) 2.) Biscoff ice cream (corn flakes, biscoff cookie and caramel crumble) The cashier asked if we wanted to change our ice cream flavors but we stuck to the milk ice cream. The ice creams came out quick and were super yummy and had the perfect amount of sweetness and toppings. Definitely will be back to try other flavors. read more

Stopped by for dessert after lunch at another nearby restaurant because I saw a super cute cafe I knew I had to try. The whole shop is decorated in pastel ice creams it was a very photogenic cafe for their equally pretty drinks and ice creams. My husband was so excited to see dole whip on the menu as it's been a long time favorite if his. I order the Dalgona brûlée coffee and he ordered a dole whip float. We were both very impressed! The dole whip itself was very much like Disney's, the slush, fruit and juice just made it all even better. Very light and refreshing, not overly sweet. The Dalgona coffee was a bit sweeter than I like, I think only because of the brûlée flavor. It was still a very rich and creamy flavor and texture, I would definitely order again, but may be a different flavor to try. I definitely need to return to try their extensive ice cream options! read more

Ate lunch nearby and wanted some dessert and found this place via Yelp! It was close by so we walked there in the little plaza.. such a cute dessert place! It was fully packed when we came in. The decor they had was very cute and it was very clean. They had Christmas decor up too for the holiday, loved it. The strawberry blush cup was super good! I loved the strawberry crunch they had on it along with the cornflakes at the bottom. I didn't even realize there was crystal boba in the middle, my favorite! For 6.99, this is so worth it. Plenty of ice cream that is super smooth. Their chocolate ice cream cone is delicious! Loved how the chocolate ice cream isn't overly sweet like milk chocolate. The biscoff ice cream cup was really good as well! I gotta come back for the cloud dessert.. they also have kids size as well which I think is the perfect size if you don't want too much sugar for the day. They have cute little heart shovel looking spoons, lol. Customer service is amazing, everyone was very nice and the guy at the register was very helpful when we were ordering. Been meaning to try this dessert spot in convoy. Overall pretty satisfied and its a great addition to the Convoy community. Located in the same lot as Raki Raki, parking is terrible. Those who know, know that the parking lot is probably one of the worst lots of convoy, if not is the worst. It's small, tight and competing with so many other good spots. The place itself is super cute and clean. Love the cute holiday decor and they have a decent amount of seating as well. No issues with service. They checked all the boxes for good customer service. They got the job done, were clean, no issues there. I liked the food in all honesty. The taro and biscoff was my favorite. Surprisingly it was a really good combo and pretty refreshing. I liked the concept of smores, but the popcorn was a little questionable. I think if it was graham cracker crust instead that would have been better. But they have a lot on the menu that I'm willing to try! If you're willing to sacrifice your time for parking, then this is the spot to try! read more
A SoCal dessert and drink shop has opened its newest location in the Convoy Court of Kearny Mesa which is arguably the busiest of the plazas in this Asian business district. Nobibi is currently in a soft opening phase until this upcoming weekend. A 20% discount is being applied to all orders during this period. The inside of the suite was nicely decorated and very social media friendly. A tall menu screen was mounted on the wall behind the service counter. The featured products were soft serve ice cream decorated with colorful toppings (e.g. cotton candy) in a cone or cup. About ten preset combinations were available. Milk/fresh/fruit teas, slushes, coffees, frosties, and soda crushes were the drink categories. A self service kiosk was available to take orders if the line at the counter was too long. I chose the Strawberry Blush which was vanilla soft serve in a cup with corn flakes, freeze-dried strawberry "blush," and crystal boba as toppings. The dessert was a fancy strawberry sundae with crunchy texture added from the corn flakes and chewiness from the boba pearls. All of the preset products were crafted to be visually appealing and mine was no different. Tastewise, it was alright, but I think there's higher quality ice cream in this neighborhood. If photos and video clips are your thing, then Nobibi will certainly offer ample opportunities to fulfill that activity. read more

This place was great! The soft serve was creamy and the service was pretty fast. We got the salted caramel and milk in a cone and the dubai chocolate. Dubai chocolate was very chocolate-y and the topping gave it a nice texture. My only issue was the sugar cone they gave me had the paper wrapper on it that gets stuck to the cone because its glued so I wasn't able to finish it all. read more

I like that there are a lot of options to choose from. I like the vibe-it's a cute spot for a date. But the taste of the soft serve was not it for me. Like, it wasn't bad. But the real standout was the toppings-so pick good ones I guess. McDonald's has better soft serve-but to each their own. read more

My uncle was the one who told me of this place and raved how delicious the strawberry blush! I only had one goal when I came and that was to try this STRAWBERRY BLUSH! It contained milk soft serve, fresh strawberries, strawberry sauce, crunchy lychee? jelly, corn flakes, dehydrated strawberry bits, and strawberry pocky sticks. The strawberry sauce in the middle wasn't too sweet so it really balanced the flavors. I enjoyed eating this a lot since they had ample amount of fresh strawberries. I would have loved a top or middle layer of the corn flakes though as it was delicious. 10/10, I devoured this. My uncle got the same, but instead of the milk soft serve he asked for chocolate. The chocolate came out to be an interesting color, I believe for other menu items they call it "Ninja." And it contains activated charcoal -- if you take certain medications you should be cautious about consuming activated charcoal! He didn't eat all of it, he said it was too rich and dark chocolatey tasting for him. I tasted it as well, and as good as it was-- I don't think I could finish that one either! They have signature drinks, brown sugar series, cotton candy desserts, ice cream, and other soft serve parfaits...so I'll definitely come back to try other items. This spot was crowded with friends (2-6), dates, and families with little kids. Everyone was excited to get their items as the smile on their faces reflected that. I loved the bright interior of Nob!b! White walls with neon pink signage, tastefully decorated with ornaments and green garland. They had a cute Christmas tree up as well. And in the back corner, cute ice cream lamp hanging from the ceiling. Their workspace was clean and open which allowed people to watch the process if they wanted. Dropped by here the other month and it was a pretty cool time. Ended up ordering an avocado ice cream which was very good. Also got to try the Dubai chocolate flavor which was good but a little too sweet. Staff here were friendly and I appreciated that they didn't try to shoo us although we ended up being the last ones to leave. This review is for the ice cream. Yum! Been craving some classic soft serve ice cream with toppings. I tried the biscoff milk soft serve. The ice cream itself has a great flavor. It came with plenty of biscoff crumble, the right amount of caramel drizzle, and some corn flakes on the bottom (could have gone without this). The Oreo ice cream tasted good as well. Walked past this place a couple times and had to finally give it a try! So glad we did-- this place is AMAZING!!! The menu is huge with a diverse selection of sweet treats. There's speciality ice creams, drinks, as well as cotton candy and bubble waffles. There's a wide variety of ice cream flavors that are both unique and tasty! The shop itself is spacious with lots of seating options and aesthetic photo ops. The gentleman that helped us, Jacob, was extremely helpful and informative when helping us decide what to get! I went with the ninja ice cream and my boyfriend got a jasmine milk tea with cheese foam. The ninja was a really cool dark color in a chocolate cone with pop rocks and other adornments! The ice cream is very smooth and not too sweet, with a rich chocolate flavor. The jasmine milk tea was also very bold and smooth, which I found delightful as jasmine teas are typically too mellow for my liking. The cheese foam on top was also very thick and flavorful! Overall, this place is completely worth the trip! I'll absolutely be back to try more!!! read more

The Egg Puff was delicious and love the Biscoff Ice Cream with corn cereal. Nice contrast of creamy and crunchy texture with caramel drizzle. I came across an Instagram post that advertised Nobibi's grand opening in Kearny Mesa. As soon as I saw the desserts, I knew I had to try them out. To start off, the shop is so cute and well decorated. The service was excellent as well! The cashier was extremely polite and had great customer service skills. We ended up ordering the s'more, flora, and dream cloud. I loved the flavor and consistency of their ice cream--it was so creamy! I do think that Nobibi has better soft serve than many of the other places I have tried in San Diego. However, it appears that each of the ice cream items have the same base (vanilla or maybe milk ice cream) and only differ in the additional toppings they add. I was a bit disappointed because I had hoped that the flavor of the ice cream, itself, would differ. For instance, for the s'more I was expecting a bit more, like maybe even some chocolate? Besides the toppings, it kind of felt as if we ordered the same item three times. Thankfully, because we came on their opening weekend, all of the items were 50% off. Overall, I do think that I would likely return to try out a different item off of their menu. read more

Wanted to try this spot since I saw it pop up on Instagram and it did not disappoint. I got the egg waffle with strawberry dole whip, dried strawberry crumble and caramel. My GF got the Dalgona Ice Cream which comes with Dalgona coffee, caramel and cornflakes. Both were very good. The ice cream is very creamy and the prices were satisfactory as well! read more
First time coming here and I'm a fan! We came around 8:30 pm on a Friday and it was pretty packed but we luckily found a table. Cute and clean interior. We got the biscoff ice cream and all LOVED it!! It was delicious, smooth, creamy and perfectly sweet. I liked how you can choose the ice cream flavor and we went with the milk ice cream. The biscoff cookie and crumbs, caramel drizzle and cornflakes at the bottom were perfect toppings. Size was okay for 3 people, I wish there was more!
