My husband and I found Nobels on a Sunday morning drive, and stopped for breakfast. What a gem! A very relaxed and wonderful place with a stage for live music and outdoor seating. We loved the historic picture frames about the walls. We each ordered an omelette with sides. Food was prompt and delicious. Our server, Elizabeth, was attentive and friendly. Good news is folks get to bed early in Carthage so service was quick, unfortunately too quick from a food arrival perspective. First off it's a nice place, decor wise, the waitress was nice, responsible and checked on me regularly. When I walked in there is a bar area but apparently no alcohol, no worries, Ordered the chicken parm with pasta and a salad. The woman delivering salad was not as friendly as the waitress, having a bad day maybe? I barely ate half of the salad and the main was delivered by the same grumpy woman. The chicken was ok, pasta was ok although I prefer a thinner spaghetti. The Sauce is best described as eating tomato paste from a can, it was that thick and lacking enough spices e.g. Basel, Garlic and Salt plus olive oil. As you can tell from the photo the dish could have received more heat to melt the cheese. The dish included garlic bread unfortunately it was soggy and really wasn't toasted well. I would say the salad was the best part of the meal which I enjoyed eating in between bites of the main. Opportunity for improvement for sure. read more

Sat outside on a weekday lunch visit. We were the only patrons outside - likely due to high temperature. Outdoor seating is beside sidewalk and main road. Car noise was often loud and fumes overpowering. A ton of flies made eating outside a challenge. Service was initially prompt, but large gaps on table check-in made us wonder if we'd been forgotten though the server was friendly and helpful. Ordered appetizer of lemon pepper shrimp which was severely disappointing. It was shrimp on a skewer with a lemon on the plate. High pricing for something so simple. Bar-like food. 8" pizza was very good with sufficient toppings. Smashed burger was okay. Fries were average. Nothing outstanding but a nice establishment in a small town where such options are extremely limited. read more

Very friendly service. Wife and I went for breakfast and it was great, veggie omelette with hash browns and avocado toast. Place is very clean and nicely decorated. Father's Day Sunday. The food was great, although came out slowly. I blame management, because there wasn't any on site. Short staffed and the staff that was on site were all kids, and some were in training, who btw, were all doing their best. Who made this decision?!?!?! It's a busy day!! Their pizza is one of the better pies in the area. It's better than one of the better, it's one of the best pizza places I've been to in middle Tennessee. We have been there with a group and just ourselves. Always great. Was just there last night. read more

The only one that was even nice was the young man that waited on us he was young and inexperienced but tried to do a good job. The food was horrible came to the table after one of the longest waits I've ever had food was ice cold and the flavor was horrible sauce on the pizza was like tomato paste I would never go back the poor guy tried to do good but the manager just stared at us and talked about us be the bar. No one came to the table the poor kid was left out to dry. If I could give it a zero I would. read more

Went Sunday morning for breakfast and was a disaster. Started off with heavy cream spoiled for coffee. Ordered 3 omelets 2 western and 1 with ham, mushrooms, onion and cheeses. All omelets no ham and a side of Sourdough toast which didn't even look toasted and wasn't buttered. Strawberry crapes cold and tuff needed knife to cut. Mentioned to waitress we had no ham in our omelets and was told the cook will not remake them. Emma our waitress said she was taking $20off the bill and was talking to the kitchen. Waited 20minutes but we got fresh made omelets hot delivered. This place really needs a manager on duty all times and someone who knows how to run a kitchen. read more

Favorites include, The Lineman, Wedge Salad, Chipotle Chicken Wrap, Spaghetti, Chicken Tenders, Chicken Alfredo, Loaded Fries, Cesar Chicken Wrap, Onion Rings, and any pizza! I drove over an hour to visit the town of Carthage and try a local place for a good hamburger. This place was recommended by a local who grew up in the area. The atmosphere had a lot of charm and interesting decor. I observed many families of all ages dining. The table had several spots of sticky syrup on it from previous customers that I found by placing my arm on the table. The waitress and staff were very friendly and attentive to taking care of the customers. I chose the BBQ Bacon Hamburger and it was a disappointment. I tasted nothing bbq in the burger. The bacon may have had some on it but the burger meat was lost in all the other fixings. They were fresh and provided majority of the flavor. I t was difficult to taste the meat. Appears the patty was very thin and could have been smashed during the cooking. The bun was brioche style and tasted fresh. Reduced to two stars. Unfortunately, within two hours I became sick with lower Gi issues. Food contamination concern. read more

I moved here in December of 2020 and have been waiting for this location to open. Last fall they finally opened and it's growing steadily more popular. I've been here a few times, but tonight they have live music and this place is packed!!! Unfortunately..... The poor staff is hustling the best they can. There are only two servers.... Inside, every table is taken, people are sitting outside at tables and there is a wait at the door. Fortunately everybody here understands and nobody is being a "Karen". Now for the food... All of the appetizers are amazing, (if you want onion rings, get here early as they sell out!) as well as the salads. The burgers are sure to to satisfy and I hear that the fettuccine alfredo is outstanding, however I did not care for the shrimp scampi, as all I could really taste was olive oil. I did speak to the server & hopefully they'll tweak that recipe. Their pizzas are outstanding.... 8 inch is $4.95!! They have standard pizza toppings and some really wonderful unique ones as well, like banana peppers, green olives, Andouille Sausage and chorizo. Interior as a little bit of an industrial feel to it with exposed brick & lots of wood. It's a wonderful place to have in our little town. I'm thrilled that they have live music to support our local musicians. I'm so happy to have another great place here in town to bring my guests to. So we had ordered our food 2 1/2hours in advance with a pick up time for 5:30. I get there 10 minutes early. I walk in, and wait at the host table. There are 4 or 5 workers talking at the bar. I continue to wait at the host table and none of them bother to come greet me. So I walk to the bar, and ask about my order. It's 5:30 at this point. The guy at the bar said it'll be out in 5 minutes. 10 minutes go by, and the guy comes to tell me one of my pizzas were made wrong and asked if I'd like to wait for it and I said yes cause I had ordered it. So I sat at the bar and finally got my order at 6:00pm. I'm frustrated cause I felt like I gave plenty of time for my food to be made and it's apparently made wrong when I get there. This place has a complacency issue and lack of stern management. Poor hosting, and poor time management. I didn't want to sit there for 30 minutes after when I'm expecting my food at a certain time. Food is really great and I hope the owner addresses this. read more
