Blueprint really balances its elevated style and classy lounge atmosphere. Set in Printers Alley, it touches on Nashville's storied past--think open windows, mood lighting, and don't miss the cute butterfly mural visible from the patio. The menu is full of fun and inventive cocktails and I also have to give a shoutout to the staff... everyone was so kind and on top of things. You can tell they care about making people feel welcome, which made the whole night even better. I really cant say enough good things about the service. The club is a blend of glamorous surroundings and dynamic entertainment, just a couple of blocks from all the Broadway Honkey Tonk bars. I love Broadway and the country music, but this is definitely a fun place to experience a completely different kind of night. Inside, the red leather booths and the stage right over the marble bar make it feel like you've stepped into another era. It's got that classy lounge look, but at the same time the energy is upbeat and fun.

The music was alright, it was more so 2010s pop/hip-hop and we were hoping for some more modern hits that were on the radio right now (love that genre btw, but that era of music wasn't the vibe). While they were great as I was scheduling our bottle service with them leading up to the event, they were unfortunately nonexistent after the fact. We noticed the total on our receipt looked a bit high for what we got, so I emailed to request an itemized receipt to understand what had happened, and was basically ignored, even after additional follow-up. They just stopped responding altogether. When I tried to call, I couldn't get a hold of anyone to help either. So just beware of your bill and make sure to take care of that in person (hard because you're probably drunk), because they'll drop off once they have your money. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend.

Watch a 200 lbs drag queen in platform boots do a split while holding a drink and not spilling anything!!! Years ago, before the pandemic, a confused immigrant with approximately 14 words of English and the survival instincts of a raccoon wandered into this town. Society said "the gays are dangerous." But thankfully I was born with critical thinking skills and not a hollow coconut rolling around inside my skull. So I made one gay friend and suddenly my entire life changed. The first night I walked into Play, my spirit left my body like a Victorian child with tuberculosis. The lights. The music. The lesbians. Dear GOD, the lesbians. I saw one woman with a carabiner and immediately understood taxes, feminism, and the meaning of life. By the end of the night I was spiritually a bisexual woman named Ashley who owns crystals and says things like "Mercury is in retrograde babe." Beyoncé was playing, someone was crying in the bathroom, a drag queen was doing the splits, and I was sweating through my organs like a sinner being exorcised. This place did not just open my eyes. It opened portals. Dimensions. Government files probably exist on whatever happened to me in there between 2018 and 2022. Did it slightly damage my liver? Absolutely. But so does being alive. I used to go every weekend back in the day. Like CLOCKWORK. If there was music playing and a gay man yelling "WOOOOO," my body would appear there against my will like a demonic summoning ritual. Nowadays I'm older and the crowd feels younger, which is terrifying because one bartender looked at me and I instinctively wanted to ask him what his SAT score was. Growth is crazy. My frontal lobe developed and ruined everything. BUT THIS WEEKEND I RETURNED. And baby... the devil grabbed my waist personally. The second I heard the music, something ancient awoke inside me. I started throwing ass with the strength of a divorced mother of four after two margaritas and a custody victory. I was moving like rent was due. Like the CIA was extracting information from my hips. Like Beyoncé herself had possessed my spinal cord through Bluetooth. My knees now ,4 business days laster sound like someone has OCD, and 3 miles long of bubble wrap, and they are on a mission to pop them all. I sneezed yesterday and threw my back! The girl I came with literally broke things off because apparently I was "too gay." Babe. We were in a gay club. That's like going to the ocean and getting mad at fish. And the staff? Phenomenal. Sweetest people alive. The bouncers protected me while I was dancing like an inflatable tube man outside a bankrupt car dealership(thx carvana). The bartenders continued serving me despite watching my soul actively leave my body to Charli XCX. I ll be back for sure!

I came here for the first time for a dog rescue benefit- a doggie drag show. It was so much fun!…read moreI'm not super familiar with that part of town but it was easy to find and I even found free parking behind the building- a rare treasure in Nashville.

We returned as much as we did because of the girls and the fact they deserved to have people treat them like people. Tonight we walked in and the guy working the front told us the owners wife saw our car pull in and told him we were no longer welcome, when we asked if we could talk to one of them to find out why, the wife of the owner walked by gave us a dismissing hand wave and said I don't want to talk they're banned and seemed more concerned with who was in "her" parking spot. The owner doesn't have a spine and calls his rude wife to come and handle stuff that happens, she's cussed at me and threatened to call the cops on me for helping one of the girls she fired who fell asleep in the parking lot, when I explained I was simply trying to help her she said she would just have us both arrested then. She has also cussed at my husband and told him that he doesn't need to tell her how to run her business when he tried to let her know one of the customers was inappropriately grabbing one of the dancers she had just yelled at in front of everyone for not following a new rule that she hadn't even really told them about. So for Lisa-you and your disgusting attitude will single handedly be the death of your business, treat your girls with some dignity because they are still humans with real feelings. Believe me when I say I will be there to celebrate the day you have to close your doors due to your own actions. For Jeff- if you truly value your business, keep your rude ass wife out of it. She is and will continue to ruin everything you've tried to build. Also I don't know where she hid your balls, but you need to take those back and stand up to her cause we can all see that even you don't want to stand up to her.
