I am truly obsessed with the Mil Hojas cake. My family has ordered at least 3 cakes from here, back to back for our parties. Everyone always comments how flavorful and pretty the cakes are. We live on the east so it's a drive but boy is it worth it. You will absolutely be amazed and satisfied with their cakes! Already waiting for our next family gathering or event for an excuse for an a cake! Also very good pricing ! Also they were very accommodating when we asked for no kiwi due to a foallergy

Hayward is nicely remodeled and decorated. There are bar seats, booth seats, table seat and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is surrounded by lush green plants. There is a tasting menu for $98, but the items are undisclosed, left to the chef to chose so I didn't go with this and ordered a la carte. The bread is served warm, soft, oiled, so good. So good that I ordered a 2nd piece. Probably best bread I've had. The food is good. I wish they had more red meat options though. The cod is probably the best entree item from a consensus. They also have the cutest match boxes. Portions are on the small end. Street parking.

Service was outstanding- warm friendly greeting, they offered to take our coats, we were seated right away, great suggestions for drinks, and food was delivered in a cadence that didn't feel rushed, but didn't feel like you were waiting long either. We enjoyed some dishes more than others, but overall the food was really delicious. The stand-outs were some of the dishes we didn't catch the names, but the cod was well liked and so was the steak. Parking was a little hard due to the Christmas lights at the park across the street. This was almost an hour drive for us and it was worth it. We would recommend and look forward to going back to Hayward.

Bacon was perfect, not too overdone, and it all came together nicely. TBH, the bread kinda overpowered the fillings, but so it goes. Came with a lovely mixed green salad, small, but much appreciated. Service was quick and to the point, bathrooms clean, and indoor ambiance homey and chill, good enough for a quick bite but nothing to linger in. Also? No WiFi. Bummer for a coffee shop.

So we saw Carlton Bakery and they delivered on the veggie options. We both ordered local mushroom sandwiches without meat and a couple of croissants all to go. The sandwiches came with small salads with radish and soy beans (very tasty). I probably could have bought half the items in the store as everything looked delicious. The sandwiches were tasty, good bread which was lightly toasted. The croissants were very good as well, pretty close to those in France. It took about 5-10 minutes for our order to be ready. The service was great, friendly and quick. I'd definitely return to Carlton Bakery in the future.

They were flush with customers even on a Monday, but with some patience you will be seated and served with the most delicious food. You won't even mind the calories (or at least I didn't), especially after you wash it down with some fresh squeezed juice. Must gets: -Caramelized banana pancake (half portion = 1 huge pancake) -They also really know how to do a darn good hashbrown. -And for bread? That cornmeal molasses toast was completely unreal

Crescent Cafe, kudos, you've done it again! We discovered Crescent about a year ago at the recommendation of a friend who used to live in McMinnville. We tried it then and we were very pleased with our experience. We returned again today. Met by a friendly staff, we did have a bit of a wait but that was on us... we failed to make a reservation. Nonetheless, it was worth the wait! They accommodated all 6 of us in less time than predicted. We were seated at a lovely table in the front of the restaurant and met by a lovely waitress who was so bubbly, friendly, and kind. Coffees showed up quickly and our orders were taken quite promptly. The atmosphere was lively and the staff was attentive. Food. They just do dang good here. First, yes we know what is coming now... THEY KNOW HOW TO COOK AN EGG TO ORDER! Second, the food is fresh and piping hot... hashbrowns are perfectly crisp, and the ham was delish! Overall, what more can I say? Huge portions, we each ate / drank cofee for ~$20/each and left with leftover boxes. Crescent Cafe knows how to do brunch. They thrive in all areas, you can't go wrong. Next time you're in McMinnville for the weekend, make sure you stop in for a fabulous brunch!
