We discussed a few different things and she drew up a concept for Yggdrasil (World Tree). I've had other tattoo artist and shop workers comment about how good the cover up is and I was super happy with it. Will 100% go back for another tattoo from her. She is pretty direct, which may not be some people's vibe, but that was something I looked for when I consulted, which lead me to trust her pretty quick.

They also make getting tattooed financially accessible by offering payment plans, which is super helpful! What other tattoo shops do that!? I don't know a single one. They really go out of their way to create a space that feels safe for the diversity of people who get tattoos and that is truly a gift to find in a business, let alone a tattoo shop. I make it a point to always get a tattoo when I come through Memphis from Underground Art. I cannot recommend them enough!

I posted a picture on reddit. you can read the comments and decide on the verdict (r/piercing : too far gone to save?) everyone in the comments suggested it was poorly pierced and I did not have the right anatomy for this piercing. Also was told that they gave me waaaaay too big of a bar. bigger bars are used for healing but this size of bar does more damage than good.. I wish i was told that i did not have the right ear anatomy for it instead of blowing 80 dollars at a shit job. Thanks for the "quality" service. Get your piercing done somewhere else.

Extremely disappointing experience, especially considering how patient and supportive I have been…read moreas a customer. Over the past three months, Hannah cancelled or rescheduled my tattoo appointments numerous times. I continued giving her the benefit of the doubt because I genuinely think she is a talented artist. I was finally able to get one of my tattoos finished, and the work itself was awesome. Unfortunately, talent does not make up for repeatedly cancelling on a customer and then ignoring them when there is money involved. I have a deposit for additional work that I now want refunded because I simply cannot continue rearranging my schedule around appointments that may or may not happen. I attempted to contact Hannah directly and received no response. I then reached out to the shop, explained the entire situation professionally, and asked for assistance getting my deposit returned. My message was read and completely ignored. That is what pushed me to leave this review. I have been more than fair as a customer. On my first tattoo, I actually paid Hannah $300 MORE than the price we originally agreed upon because the tattoo took longer than expected. I respected her time and compensated her accordingly. Apparently, that same level of respect does not extend to my time or my money. Artists occasionally have to cancel appointments. Life happens, and I understand that. But numerous cancellations over a three-month period, followed by ignoring a customer who is simply asking for his deposit back, is unacceptable customer service. The most frustrating part is that this situation was completely avoidable. A simple response and a refund of my deposit would have resolved everything professionally. Instead, both my direct attempts to contact Hannah and my message to the shop have gone unanswered. Hannah is a talented tattoo artist, but based on my experience, reliability, communication, and customer service have been extremely poor. I cannot recommend doing business with a shop that will read a legitimate customer complaint involving money and choose not to even respond.
