I was finally able to get one of my tattoos finished, and the work itself was awesome. Unfortunately, talent does not make up for repeatedly cancelling on a customer and then ignoring them when there is money involved. I have a deposit for additional work that I now want refunded because I simply cannot continue rearranging my schedule around appointments that may or may not happen. I attempted to contact Hannah directly and received no response. I then reached out to the shop, explained the entire situation professionally, and asked for assistance getting my deposit returned. My message was read and completely ignored. That is what pushed me to leave this review. I have been more than fair as a customer. On my first tattoo, I actually paid Hannah $300 MORE than the price we originally agreed upon because the tattoo took longer than expected. I respected her time and compensated her accordingly. Apparently, that same level of respect does not extend to my time or my money. Artists occasionally have to cancel appointments. Life happens, and I understand that. But numerous cancellations over a three-month period, followed by ignoring a customer who is simply asking for his deposit back, is unacceptable customer service. The most frustrating part is that this situation was completely avoidable. A simple response and a refund of my deposit would have resolved everything professionally. Instead, both my direct attempts to contact Hannah and my message to the shop have gone unanswered. Hannah is a talented tattoo artist, but based on my experience, reliability, communication, and customer service have been extremely poor. I cannot recommend doing business with a shop that will read a legitimate customer complaint involving money and choose not to even respond.
