Sadly, I cannot recommend HoCo Haulers. They seem like a nice enough family, but the first time I…read moreused their services, I was first thing Monday morning, and they were 3 hours late! It wreaked havoc on the scheduled move that day. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that they were in fact stuck in line at the dump, I gave them a second chance. I was not given a window, but a time of 9:00am. This time, they were 2 hours late and seemed baffled that I was expecting them at 9 instead of 9-11. I ended up doing a lot of the job by myself. I would avoid this company if time matters at all to you and your job.

I've used this dry cleaners occasionally for the past 3-4 years. I've always liked their work, but…read moremy most recent experience left me a bit disappointed. I dropped off three pairs of jeans to be taken in at the waist since I've lost weight and wanted them to fit better. I also needed the legs shortened a bit, and one needed a pocket replaced. They quoted me a price of about $160 and I left. When I returned to pick them up a week later, they told me the price was about $30 more. They explained that one pair needed the crotch mended, and they also washed them. They had my phone number, but didn't call me to authorize the additional work! They just went ahead and performed it. I would have authorized the crotch repair, but I question the need to wash them, as I knew they had a policy that they'd only mend clean clothes, so I washed them first. I honestly wonder if it's even legal to perform unauthorized work and bill for it. I'm not going to file a claim with the appropriate government agency since it's only about $30, but it strikes me as a variant on "bait and switch". It's also worth pointing out that they don't take credit or debit cards. I'm unsure if they'll take checks, but I had planned to pay cash. I had enough to pay the original amount plus a bit more, but I was about $6 short. Perhaps they realized I was annoyed already, since they let the amount slide. I'll probably still use them since they're very convenient to my home, but I'm less enthusiastic than before.
