I got a Labor Discount Movers business card from the manager Leonard after asking if Habitat ReStore delivers (they do not). I called them before I left the store and Edward returned my call within 20 minutes. By early afternoon we were able to schedule delivery and the hutch and cabinet were safely in my home. Edward and his guys were kind and respectful. Taking special care to not run over my toddler who was so excited to have guests and kept talking to the guys. Or my 6 month old who was rolling around on the floor (my bad). (Update to five star because the checks thing is an easy fix) Only reason not a five star is because they don't usually take checks. I know, I know, who uses checks anymore? My cash app wasn't working with me that day. Every week there are fewer and fewer machines available to use. The washers are always out of service due to lack of maintenance, dryers barely dry clothes no matter how many quarters you add. There is soap residue on nearly all machines from lack of cleaning on the staff's part. When one of my acquaintances complained about the lack of water in one of the washers, an employee responded by saying she shouldn't complain because the machines here have more water and work better than other laundromats in the area. Whether this is true or not, it shows poor mannerism and customer service as the response is rude and off putting. Employees are always gossiping about customers instead of cleaning up.
