The other just said "No way in hell is it possible." Then overhead door blew our minds. I don't know how they did it, but they made it work. The door is faux wood and everything works and looks perfect. Communication with customer service and installers was friendly and professional and I just can't say enough good about them. A little pricey and timeline took awhile, but they were the only company in town who was confident about getting it done right. If you want the best, this is it.

I received a call at 9:30 asking if I could move my appt to the evening or another day because "he scheduled a big job" that was going to take most of the day. Recognizing a big job was scheduled would have been known well before 9:30 am the day of my appt. My day is shot. I will call A1 Garage now. They honor their commitments. I always try to support local businesses wherever possible. Got burned on this one.

We've worked with both Chris and George over the last year on our garage door and they are great…read more The first issue we just had some strange things happening with the door randomly opening, not wanting to shut, etc. Chris came out, made some adjustments and answered a bunch of questions we had about it. We were convinced our door was dying and might need replacing but he reassured us that even though it was older, just wait until something actually happens because everything else looked good. I appreciated his honesty and transparency and he never was pushy about trying to upsell us (quite the opposite, actually). The more recent interaction was this past week. The spring snapped when I was taking out the trash (haha- maybe I'm off the hook for that now???). The door wouldn't open at all and I had to go into the office the next day. Even though it was around 8pm, we shot them a text and received a response early the next morning and they were able to schedule a time in the early afternoon. They were running early and were actually able to get to work much earlier than the appointment time (yay!) and get us squared away. We worked with George this time and he was great as well- took a look at the rest of the system to make sure things were good and was on his way. They didn't try to upsell, just provided the information about the different types of springs that could be installed and let us decide. If/when we do need to replace the full unit, I will definitely give these guys a call. They have been super responsive, knowledgeable, and get the work done quickly even when pressed for time.

Logan came out and did an absolutely tremendous job. He spent a good chunk of his time just fine tuning my garage door to make sure that that worked perfectly before putting on the new door opener, which is really nice, state of the art, quiet, bright, and very functional. The unit and the service call were both very cost-effective as well. I have zero complaints with the company. My only complaint is that the new Liftmaster unit is not backwards compatible with some of my car based openers and aftermarket openers. Fantastic service from the company!
