Horrible service. Be prepared to stay stranded. I asked for help when my car wouldn't start. I sent my location. The reply was OK. I waited for over 30 minutes. I called for an update. I was told, "it takes time." I replied, "I just wanted an update." I was rudely told, "you are a bad customer. I am canceling your service." Very awful attitude for a company that is supposed to help people who are stranded! I give zero stars. read more

Nice guy. He bought and programmed a Mazda key FOB for me. He also had to cut a key that fits inside the FOB for emergencies when your battery goes dead in the FOB. He messed up the key so he said he'd order another blank and re-cut it for me. I reminded him but to no avail. In the meantime my original FOB battery was dead and I took the one he programmed for me and went to the gym. When I came out the FOB wouldn't open my doors! Plus I didn't have an emergency back up key because he never got me one. So I had to have my wife come and pick me up. Now I am going to just pay Mazda to make me a new one. I was trying to save money over a dealer but instead lost a bunch! read more

Is there a category for minus-5 stars? I checked 1 star because you can't post a review without one. Save your money (and sanity) and do NOT do business with this outfit. On no level was this a good experience. Like you I found this business after a simple internet search, a choice I wholly regret. I needed replacement keys and fobs for three vehicles and it turned into a two-month headache that turned what should have been a $400 transaction into a $2,800 nightmare. I was trying to avoid going to the dealership but wound up doing that anyway because his "work" caused an electrical short in one of my cars which ended up costing thousands. He claimed he'd give me a refund from the $400 he originally billed me. He never had any intention of doing that. He ghosted me and absolutely would not return messages, which speaks to sketchy business practice and total unprofessionalism. But, hey, let's take a journey, shall we? The first part of our interaction took a week and a half -- and three separate visits -- to complete an original transaction that was described by this guy as a "simple process." He programmed a new fob for one of my vehicles, which rendered the original fob useless. He said synching the old fob and the original fob with the car would be an additional cost. Ouch, but fair enough. I had three in-person visits with him about the other cars, two of which required me driving across town at a time that fit his schedule to avoid the $89 "appearance fee" for having him drive to my place to fix his blatant missteps. Each interaction took roughly an hour and ended with him handing me a keypad to enter a tip. Comical. A tip?!? He was more than an hour late to my first appointment where I had to reach out to him rather than him taking 5 seconds to tell me he was behind. He twice canceled the second visit, once as I left a work function and was in rush-hour traffic within half a mile of his residence. Then he blew me off for nearly two days prior to the third appointment after I'd already paid in full. All he had to do was cut a key and hand it to me, but what I got was this confused look and a shoulder shrug when he shorted out the electrical relays that sent me scrambling to the dealer, who told me this guy's mess was a $2,800 mistake. Do yourself a favor and use someone else -- someone who knows what he's doing, someone who communicates clearly and someone who does what he actually says. Minus 5 stars, times two. read more

Zero stars. My experience with this business was creepy and very unsettling. We locked ourselves out of the house. This business dispatched someone who was in my area. When the locksmith who was dispatched called me I told them I may not need them because I thought I could get in a window. I said I will call them back if I needed them. He was beyond rude and told me that he was with his family and he wasn't coming if he wasn't needed. I told him I would call someone else if I still needed someone, and I called the business back and told the owner to cancel it. I called a different locksmith, and while my teenage son and I were waiting in the car, someone drove onto my property and stopped behind my car. A man got out of his car and approached my car. He told me he was there to collect. When I realized it was someone from this business, I reminded him of the conversation we had just had. He took a few steps in my direction. So I took bigger steps in his direction. I told him to remove himself and his vehicle from my property. He refused. I bet I told him to leave thirty times. I then physically pushed him off of my property. I am female, 5'1, 112 lbs. He continued to walk around and past me and onto my property. I went to the neighbor's house across the street and banged on their window and they came outside and witnessed what was happening. While standing on my property, the man called APD and told them I assaulted him. I called APD and told them he was trespassing. The man did not remove himself from my property until the police dispatcher told him to. He walked across the street and stood there playing with his phone. He left his vehicle on my property, blocking me in. I called the owner back and explained what was happening. He repeatedly said, "I told him the call was canceled. I don't know what he is doing there.". When APD finally arrived, I was very specific in telling them I wanted to press charges. They let him go. The man's name is Sergio Andrade. He also owns a towing business. Public records reveal that I have every reason to be concerned for my family's safety, and your safety. New Mexico has no requirements for locksmiths. Training, certification, and background checks are not required. Sergio thinks it is legal to trespass and hold adults and minors against their will while they are on their own property. Sergio thinks it is acceptable to physically press his body against a female half his size to get around her to step further onto her property. Why? I asked the owner of the business what he planned to do. He said he would "have a talk" with Sergio. I suggest you use a different locksmith business. If you have to use this one, ask the name of the person they plan to send and steer clear of Sergio Andrade. I learned that I have grounds to press charges and I have thought about it for a long time. I haven't decided yet. For now, this review will be a lot less of a headache and will probably produce better results. read more
