Halloween party at the NITECAP. Great band and a wonderful time!

There is everything to love about this place. Wonderful owners, delicious cocktails, live music and good food trucks on many weekends. The regular patrons are really nice people. There's two pool tables for those who like to play. If you're in the Verdi area, this is the best place to hang out!

Beer, gaming, pool, darts, good drinks

I love Nitecap! The vibe is amazing. It's clean and cozy. They have two pool tables, a dart board, giant Jenga, karaoke on Saturday, live bands Friday, and much more to come for the summer months! Also Pauli is a phenomenal bartender

The staff is very welcoming and helpful, which makes the experience even better. Most importantly, the drinks are actually really good -- I enjoyed everything I tried. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to whenever I'm in Reno again. Highly recommend if you want to relax and have a solid drink in a laid-back atmosphere.

Love the quality of the drinks as they absolutely put effort and time making quality drinks with quality ingredients. It's relatively small inside so I can only imagine it could get packed in there. We had several drinks and every single one was perfection! The bathroom is the cutest and they have the coolest speakeasy door that the employees use to get to the back (not for the customers). My rant..I'm not from the area so I had NO idea what this place was when I walked by. It looked cute so my husband, myself and child walked up the steps and they sat outside while I went to check it out and see if this was a bar/club/ restaurant. I walked inside and instantly got the death glare from an employee. I instantly said omg I take it this place isn't kid friendly.. he rudely said no. I wanted to clarify and confirm even outside ? He said no. I apologized and they left but the vibe and way he said it was definitely off putting. My sister and I decided to stay for a drink while my husband/child went to walk around. Usually I don't give bad costumer service a chance.. but I realllllllly wanted a drink that one of those others customers were drinking. If this place had better costumer service. It would be a 5

The door was a freezer door and then you walk in to the actual bar itself. This is not a bis bar but spacious enough. We walked in and were sat by the booth all the way in the front by the music artist. It was actually so cool how they had the artist who was playing a saxophone, then the guitar then he can also sing and had a good voice. My major feed back with our experience is how the service was slow. We did have a big party, but what was crazy was that there was only one bartender. Mind you there was a host where you walk in and they count how many guest are there. The other person who helped at the bar did not come in until later and I'm not even sure if she actually helped out. Anyways, all their drinks I believe were the same price. I ordered the oasis which was really refreshing and tangy which I really liked. My bf ordered the tales of bourbon which unfortunately he did not like. Even our other friend who ordered the same thing did not like the bourbon. I do think the majority of our group enjoyed their drink. I would definitely say a nice spot to try and highly recommend it.

We had two very different tastes (vodka and tequila) and she nailed both drinks perfectly. The bar felt clean, welcoming and comfortable even with its edgy vibe. I also loved the tarot cards they provide! I think they may have been intended as coasters (lol) but I kept mine as a souvenir and now use it as my bookmark. It's become one of my favorite little keepsakes. Location and parking: it's on a main strip right on the corner with a small parking lot but there's also accessible street parking in the neighborhood. I highly recommend it and will definitely return anytime I'm in Reno
