I was a customer of Nissan for over 10 years. When a lease agreement didn't go well I paid off my lease and needed the title. The experience with the dealership and Nissan as a whole was absolutely disgraceful. I would recommend any other brand vehicle than Nissan to everyone I know. Being a loyal customer means nothing to these people and they will make sure you know they DO NOT care about you and what you need. The dealership pushed me off to phone number and when I called I was told to send in paperwork and make multiple fixes. They don't tell you if your paperwork is missing or if there additional steps, I had to call and find out. I paid the vehicle off with certified funds and they basically held the title for no reason. This was the worst experience I had with a company! I know this won't make much of an impact so to the BBB I go :) hope you all choose another car brand to go with and forget Nissan all together if you want a good experience. read more

I went to get my car serviced through the express lane. I pulled in and was greeted promptly. The service guy took my car back immediately. We expected to wait for at least an hour however much to our surprise we in and out within thirty minutes. And they washed my car as well. All at no charge. The gentleman who sold us the car even came to speak to us. Very nice Pomoco Nissan. read more

Nissan Winner’s Circle - Car Dealers Near Me - Hampton, Virginia

Winners Circle Nissan has helped me get a spare key for my vehicle when my vehicle didn't originally come with two keys. Their service department staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicles that they service and gave me great recommendations for my car to help keep the longevity going. If you need help in the sales department, always go to the top! Trey is a great manager who works well under pressure and really does his best to listen to the needs and concerns of all that come through! Super grateful for Winners Circle Nissan as they gave me a chance at a new vehicle after a total loss with not a lot down, hopefully they can help me trade in my rogue for a pathfinder or updated rogue in a few years read more

I wasn't going to leave a review because after my inspection, there was a piece of paper in my car saying they'd contact me to leave one (on their own site, presumably). Took my car in for an annual inspection; took about an hour. Rear brake pads failed. Fine. I put on new pads and took it back the next week. I arrived early to made sure I was first in line, because I expected to be there all of five minutes for them to see the new rear pads, slap a sticker on it, and send me on my merry way. After a half hour, people who arrived after me started to leave with their cars - it was then I started to get an attitude. Not just one, but SEVERAL other people got their cars back before I did, and all they had to do was check the new pads. I was informed it doesn't really matter what time you get there. It just gets you a place "in line," and apparently the mechanic hadn't finished his job from the night before, so I was stuck waiting on that. After an hour, I finally got my car back, and I got the F out of there. read more

I love this place. I have bought 3 or 4 cars from Pomoco and each time satisfaction of the overall experience gets better. Kendal is my main man who I normally deal with, but everyone assist in your car buying needs. Went their today for an oil change on one of my cars. I told them I think I needed a wheel alignment, you know they were able to check it right there in a matter of minutes. My alignment was off a little but it was not that bad to get the work done. They saved me some money. I can say enough good things about this place, I suggest you just go there yourself. read more

On 8/26/2020 I traded my 2016 Nissan Maximas in for a brand new 2020 Nissan Maxima from Pomoco Nissan. I've had nothing but problem with my car since I got it! 1st problem: After arriving home with my brand new vehicle I noticed the backup camera was choppy and delayed. Kind of looks like it was a camera made from the early 2000's. My backup camera from my 2016 was way better. I immediately called my sales man and he made an appointment for me to come in and have Chris Terry (advisor) to catch the choppiness on a recording. Chris immediately agreed with me that IT IS NOT NORMAL FOR MY CAR TO DO THIS. Even in the video he expressed that the video was perfect and it was "super choppy." I asked him to send me the video so I can have a copy and he did. He sent the video in to Nissan warranty on ticket number 41225503 so we could find a resolution. APPARENTLY Nissan states this is normal and there isn't anything they can do. I called and spoke to the service manager , Steven Dotson, and he also agreed that it may be "normal" but it is not right for a brand new 2020 Nissan Maxima to have this problem. It is now 10/16/2020 AND STILL NO FIX AND DOES NOT SEEM LIKE ANYONE WANTS TO HELP. 2nd problem: On the dash where the speedometer is there is a display screen that shows who you are on the phone with and you have options to end the call if you are on the phone. After I ended a call while I was driving the display screen with trying to press the end button on its own and I was not on the phone. I quickly started to record what the car was doing and you can even see/hear on the video that I was playing the radio and not on the phone but the display screen was doing something strange on its own. I called Chris Terry to let him know that I caught a recording and I emailed him that video as well. This is still without a resolution with my backup camera. Chris told me he sent that video as well to Nissan and Nissan states this too is normal. EVEN WHEN THE DISPLAY SCREEN IS STUCK! I was told that sometimes the car software may not yet be updated to the new software version of iphone and this is why I maybe having this issues.... 3rd problem: As I was driving my radio stop functioning and no volume was coming out from the speakers but the display was still on. I immediately pulled over disconnected my Bluetooth and no cords were plugged in and I recorded the radio not working. No radio, no Sirius Radio, no volume NOTHING.... IN MY BRAND NEW 2020 NISSAN MAXIMA. I took my car to Hall Nissan of Chesapeake ( on Western Branch Blvd) and showed Jason Mays (service manager) everything. I was told he would be the person that would definitely be able to help me. I showed him the backup camera issue, I showed him the display screen for the call being stuck and glitch, and I should him that my radio was not working. He stated to me about the software but since my phone was not connecting that hopefully Nissan Warranty will just change out my entire radio because all of this is not normal. He also stated to me that he thought that all of my issues: backup camera, display, and radio probably has something to do with each other and doesn't see why they won't fix it if there is so much going on with this car. After 1.5 weeks of not hearing a resolution I called consumer affairs on 10/15/2020 and they created ticket number 42199897 and told me I will hear something by COB 10/16/2020. I went to Nissan (Western Branch) on 10/15/2020 and spoke to the General Manager Steve Spiva and he gave me little to no help at all!!! I expressed how frustrated I was and told him none of this should be happening with my brand new vehicle and how I wish that the service manager would contact me verses me having to call around and leave voice messages to get him to call me back. I expressed to him I felt that with the lack of communication I felt they didn't want to help me with this defective car. He cut me off and got a little loud with me to tell me he was frustrated and why would I think that. I asked him to lower his voice because I did not like how he got loud with me when I am the one with the issues and I am the one jumping through hops trying to get someone to fix this defective car! He then apologized. I received a call this morning (10/16/2020) from Jason Mays telling me that Nissan says that EVERYTHING is normal. He suggested to just come to make sure nothing is loose. The term normal is very frustrating be me even more because ALL OF THIS IS NOT NORMAL!! I should not be driving and my radio stops working, then have to stop my car, turn off my car, restart my car, just to have the radio to come back on again!!!!! The backup camera is TRASH and my display screen should not get stuck when I am off the phone! SOMEBODY NEEDS TO HELP ME! read more

I called and had an appointment scheduled, so my car could be handled at that time. At least that's what I assumed scheduling an appointment would do... I arrive at my appointment time, and I'm told there are 7 cars in front of me. What's the point of scheduling people for appointments just to be treated like a walk in, and have to wait hours when I'm originally told I only had to wait an hour. Very inconvenient. read more

Sev is the most unpleasant unprofessional person I have ever encountered in a service shop. Your car will not be fixed right and in a timely manner here. And you will be treated like garbage. Avoid!!! read more

This dealership is so cozy and inviting. It's been around for years so it's not wonder that most of the customers that come here are repeats. They work with you and the financier really tells you how it is and if whether or not the car you want to purchase is even financible for your price range. Great selection of used cars to choose from as well! read more

(Caveat: I didn't buy a car here. I just had my car serviced at their garage.) I'm not from Hampton, but found myself driving through on a business trip. I had the good fortune to have my car die at the gas station across the street from Pomoco. And I'm serious when I say "good fortune". I walked across the street, explained what happened and the manager of the garage immediately had one of his staff walk back to my car with me with a remote jump. He jumped the car and then I drove back to the dealership. The garage shuffled things around and fit my car into the schedule to have the battery replaced. They were thorough, quick, and unbelievably accommodating. I checked around on the rates for the battery and service after getting home and they were completely reasonable and within market. I cannot thank the staff and mechanics with the service center enough. read more

The receptionist wasn't wearing her mask really at all. It was dangling from her ear which made me incredibly uncomfortable already. And then talking to her she was incredibly rude and talked dismissively/down to me. I am usually a huge fan of Nissan cars and have been buying them for years but I absolutely will never give my business to this Pomoco Nissan dealership EVER. read more

For almost four years we have been searching for a car, through several states. Finally we found the right car and the right dealership to move forward. Mike got us in and got the car we were interested in pulled up before we arrived, and took us on a really fun test drive, all around. Surprisingly, of the ~10 dealers we had stopped at, very few salesman actually new more than the basic information about the car. We often knew more by watching videos online then the salesman. But here was finally an exception - Mike actually taught us things about the car we didn't know and told us how to work the rest. The negotiation was smooth and straight forward, and they quickly got down to their lowest possible price. The car is fantastic and we have already stopped back for them to put on our plates and our roof rails for free, with very little waiting. Glad to be part of the family :) read more

We've been looking for a used car with low mileage and a decent price. We couldn't be happier! We bought a Hyundai Tucson here. The salesman took us serious right from the start even though we were on a budget. He never tried to talk us into financing a new car (unlike other dealers) and was very polite. The whole process was smooth&easy and they explained everything to us. Since our second car is getting old we sure know where to go to find a new one. :D Thanks Pomoco! :) read more

I would buy my car all over again, love it. Loved Ty Sutton, would recommend him to anyone.

I'm not going to blast the whole business. I'm sure I just had a bad experience. But Talked to 3 different people online for days. They bounce back and forth between not responding, to bombarding me with follow up calls and emails from 3 or 4 different people. My 20 minutes on the lot was awful. I was practically mauled by the salesman as I walked out of my car, and he wouldn't give me any space. He was over aggressive, didn't listen to me, and kept trying to put me in different pieces of junk. Really the typical car salesman cliché. The car had extensive visible body damage, and he kept putting a carfax in my face telling me there was no damage to the car. Then he paraded the sales manager out to give me a spiel about government vehicles and how well maintained they are. . I practically RAN back to my car. But only after being coerced to schedule a test drive for the next day, a test drive I had ZERO intentions of showing up to. 4 days later after not showing interest I am still getting calls and Emails. I've had great experiences at the service department at Pomoco Dodge, so I won't blast the entire company. read more

First I want to say that I have generally been happy with bringing my car to Pomoco Nissan in Hampton for regular maintenance and more expensive repairs. However, not so much this last time. I had significant work done to my 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe mid-December. New clutch assembly, door lock actuator and window motor assembly and regulator all replaced. I had to bring it back 3 times due to a noise in my clutch pedal which was not there prior to the work being done and also hearing air on my driver side window when I am on the highway. I also didn't hear this prior to the repair being done. It's frustrating when you have repairs done and expect everything to be fixed but then other things happen that were not there to begin with. I was told the noise in the clutch pedal is a pin that may be loose or have play but there should be no issues with it. But why wasn't the noise there prior? So now the clutch pedal makes a cracking/popping noise. Kind of sounds like it's going to break. Also regarding the air in the windows I was informed the rubber seal (stripping) around the window is cracking in certain areas. I was also informed that the windows were measured to make sure they were aligned properly. But again why didn't I hear the noise prior to the motor and regulator being fixed? It doesn't seem the care and quality is as good as it used to be. read more

I had the worst experience at Pomoco Nissan in Hampton.First of all, a vehicle I wanted was wrongly advertised. When looking on their site, the Rogue Sport I wanted was listed with 28K, but when I went to the dealership, they wanted 33K. Additionally, they tried to offer my 2K less for my 2017 Rogue Sport trade in than Banister Nissan did. Wow. All I can say is FALSE ADVERTISING. Really bad customer service. I'm used to a dealership working with you and crunching some numbers. Not Pomoco!! They certainly will not ever see me again. Banister is the way to go. read more

This place is awful! We went in to look at a used car. We talked with a sales person who helped us out and talked us into driving a new Altima to see how we liked it. It was nice and we told him we might be interested but that all we would like to do for now is get a quote on the trade in value of our car. We then proceeded to sit there for 3.5 hours until closing when they sent us home with no information saying they would call tomorrow. When they called, we were informed that a loan had been approved and we could go pick up our brand new Nissan Altima. Uh.. What? Apparently they went ahead with all the paperwork without our permission and the the sales guy got upset when we said we weren't interested right now and just wanted to know how much our car was worth. Horrible ethics and terrible business morals. Never again. I wouldn't even consider a Nissan now. read more

While I haven't finalized my car purchase yet, I'm hoping this dealer ends up working with me on the best deal. To date, they blow the other dealers I've visited out of the water. No pressure, no talking to me like I'm an idiot . . . . just 'what do you want to drive and what questions do you have'. I was most impressed that the answer to one of my questions was 'Well, I have to be honest, I don't know the answer but when we get back in the showroom I'll ask the manager'. My salesman was new, and I can't tell you how much I appreciated that he admitted he didn't know the answer rather than throw some BS at me! I would definitely recommend. read more

This actually happened about a year ago, but this company has a hard time understanding the words, "Remove me from your call and mailing list." I will never go back to this dealership. After taking one of my vehicles here, not only did they not repair everything I asked them to do, but I had to go back and have my AC fixed because of them. Also, they wanted to charge me more money because they diagnosed the wrong thing. I was told my gasket was bad and it would need replacing - instead, I went to another mechanic to take a look at it, and this dealership forgot to hook up the vacuum line. No wonder my check engine light came back on! A month later, I take my other vehicle in for an oil change (I bought the car here and have brought it in to have all the service done on it), and the dealership gave my keys to another customer! So, if you don't mind spending extra money on fixes that they break, or having your keys go home with another customer, then this is your place. Otherwise, don't bother!! read more

This is my second experience purchasing a vehicle from Pomoco Nissan. I have to say that there is a laid back, no pressure approach that makes the car buying experience a pleasant one. Mr. Melton was a pleasure to work with and bent over backwards to be accommodating to retrieve a vehicle I was interested in from another Pomoco location. The bartering process was easy and fair. All of the staff were friendly and constantly walking around to provide snacks and water during the process. This was far the most positive car buying experience that I have ever had. read more

This place is a joke. I left a review about something I felt was unfair 3 months ago and they blew me up via phone and email. After we talked it out I removed the review so now today I call to schedule an appointment and they said "I bashed them so I'm banned" Really?...Mind you I bought the car from Pomoco and I have a three year warranty. The saying the customer is always right does not apply here, they like to filter their comments and testimonials on sites they can control so you will only see the "good". I'm guessing they felt exposed when I called them out on their bluff $300 recommendation which did not even exist after I got a second opinion from another place. Since all of these negative experiences, I advise you to be careful with Pomoco Hampton they'll do whatever it takes to sell you a car and then treat you like crap afterwards. This is the worst service I have ever dealt with. read more

RUN! Run far away from this RUDE, DISHONEST, sketchy dealership's service dept. The employees of Pomoco Nissan are nasty and obviously extremely unhappy about their employment there. I took my truck for inspection & oil change. They rejected my truck due to the windshield wiper. I asked to show me why....James, from the service dept, looked at all four ends of my wipers & couldn't find the tear. He then went back to one of the wiper ends and said "here's the tear" and then proceeded to rip the wiper to less than an 1/8th of an inch before I told him to stop and told him he was ripping it, he said "its rejected" and walked off. The "green team" service writer argued with me about needing new front brakes & quoted me a crazy price. I told him that my brakes had just been replaced....after about a 3 min arguement he said "oh!......I think the mechanic made a mistake about saying you needing brakes. They measure out fine". I know I don't need brakes! He then said..."you need a new front left side shock....that'll be $947" NO! Thank you! I had asked for a quote on instaling a remote starter....they want $700 for just the instulation. The cashier was just as rude & unhappy as the rest of them. My family has been a long time customer of Pomoco, but they have just squeezed the last dollar out of me. read more
