Salesmen told me that I needed to purchase a Custom Edge Warranty with the van to make the purchase. They explained the cost of it ($2000) would be refunded after a 3 year period as long as no warranty claims were made against it. The 3 year period is up now, and no warranty claims were ever made. As soon the service advisor ( name is Wayne according to Taylor) asked my phone number, he found a bad review from me from 3 years ago and all conversation changed. He first said the recall couldn't be done due to time (i agree to go back tomorrow morning) and since i questioned why to make appointments knowingly that the service couldn't be performed, He simply said for ME TO FIND ANOTHER DEALERSHIP. I had been recommended to see Nick at Nissan 112, was told he was a manager of the location and would be well taken care of (all said by a family friend who personally knows Nick). I did not yelp them because I was looking to get a car same day and I was a first time buyer so I asked for recommendations so that I would not be taken advantage of, I had explained that even before arriving I had purchased a jeep put more than half down and with such a high APR without realizing am now still paying 3x the original price (which APR was never mentioned). I had come into issues with the air conditioning within the first month of having the car causing leaks on the floor, and when I had reached out explaining that I needed it to be fixed, I had scheduled an appointment, reached out the night before to the mechanic in which who had personally texted me, to tell me the morning of ( an hour before my appointment) that he had a personal issue and recommend handle my car. thats it. My sales rep Jose had explained to me that I was covered for everything my first year, that any issue I had reach out to him that they would always help me, each time I reached out, tells me I did not purchase that warranty and that there was nothing he could do, meanwhile I mentioned I'm a first time buyer with no car maintenance experience and am interested in buying the "best warranty". I became so fed up because now my car had grown mold on it from them prolonging my issues, that I requested to switch the car. Went in looking for a used pickup (King Cab edition). When I asked a salesman if they had one he said he wasn't sure if he knew what I meant. I explained it. He showed me two vehicles that weren't it and kept calling them them King Cabs even though I corrected him. When I said it's on various websites he tried to convince me not every vehicle Nissan makes is available in the US. It is available and they're made in Texas just not quite as common a model to see. The pickup I test drove had a shimmy/shake to it upon hitting bumps and poor shifting. I asked him if it was due to some damage as I noted the salvage yard right rear brake backing plate (still had the yellow crayon part number scrawled on it) and the new swaybar underneath (still had the shiny new tag on it). He said he didn't know anything about it and "it's a truck". I test drove another elsewhere and it exhibited neither of those problems. Here's an image of the truck and the price I was told is fair market value and not negotiable. In fact he said that the price in their ads is with 2k down. Yes that's right 29,885 for a vehicle worth 22,000. And oh yeah, the tires were worn badly. 2 stars because he let me drive a couple of vehicles and wasn't pushy. I was always a fan of Nissan, a loyal customer for just over a decade, despite nothing but mediocre and poor experiences every time I had to deal with them for purchasing and during maintenance and service, first for my used Maxima, then my "certified pre owned" Versa. However, after my experience this week, my loyalty has finally ended. Saturday, I brought my car in for the check engine light. The greeter told me they wouldn't look at my car because they don't do check engine lights on Saturdays. A mechanic standing within earshot came over and said "why not, we're not even busy and I'm not doing anything right now, I can look at it", and the greeter snapped at the mechanic yelling "we don't do that". After speaking with the service advisor, I needed a few things from my car. I was told to go tell the greeter, who made me get inside of another customer's car and drive to mine, even though my car was well within walking distance. As I was waiting on the red bench outside for my ride, I saw someone driving my car out of the parking lot at around 11am. I got excited, thinking maybe the mechanic did the right thing and disregarded the grumpy greeter. EOD Monday, no one contacted to update me. I called, and they said it was "in the shop now" and that they will call back in 35 minutes. Tuesday went the same as Monday, and when I called for an update they said they were still figuring out what the problem was because there was something wrong with the wiring. Wednesday, the final diagnostic mentioned nothing about wiring, and instead asserted that I need a new transmission, costing just over $2,000 for the parts and just over $2,000 for the labor. I asked why he was giving me a price when I have a warranty. He explained that the warranty that my car would have generically come with was up. So I informed him that I had an extended warranty, and was told at the time of purchase that I would have bumper to bumper coverage for 6 years / 100,000 miles. He said he had to look into it and call me back. Hours later, Rolan called back. Even though I am only 4 years into the 6 year warranty, and am literally just a few miles short of having driven 100,000 miles since I've had it myself, it already had about 8,000 miles on it when I bought it, so the car itself is over 100,000 miles. In his defense, during this whole experience Rolan was the only employee at Nissan who at least wasn't rude and disrespectful during the process. He even offered a corporate phone number and said that maybe they can better assist me. The phone specialist, at the end of the conversation, told me he had to send the ticket out to someone in the Northeast region to handle it, and that they would call by EOD tomorrow. I asked if there was any way to transfer the call to a Northeast regional specialist so I may speak with them myself. He said they don't do that, so I respectfully asked to speak to a manager. Despite me maintaining civility, the representative immediately switched to an abrasive tone of voice, told me there's nothing any manager can do for me because it has to be a specialist to help me, and literally hung up on me. On Thursday, the "Northeast specialist" (whose phone number happened to have a Tennessee area code) called to tell me that "as a courtesy" they were offering me a 60% discount. Once again I nicely asked for a manager. The specialist informed me that there was "no manager" to speak with, and this was the best they could do. Now my car is sitting at Nissan stuck there because I cannot afford to fix it, nor Nissan's diagnostic fee. Luckily, as of Thursday evening, I am now the proud owner of a new 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage G4. Unfortunately, because of Nissan, my loan is bigger without having had a trade in car, and I also had to pay for new plates and registration because I could not transfer them over from my Nissan. However, I am excited to pick my Nissan up later this month, sell it for parts at a junkyard, and never have to deal with Nissan again in my life. Riverhead Mitsubishi was fantastic from start to finish. There was no fast talking, no up-selling, no trying to get me into a car I didn't want. They sat me down with the warranty and showed me exactly where it's written that they will honor everything they said they would. My sister will be their customer soon as well. She has also always been loyal to Nissan, first with a new Sentra and then with a certified pre owned Versa note, and it has also always been despite bad experiences with Nissan. read more

Went in for an oil change, and ended up getting a few other services as well. I have no complaint about the service staff, as they were all excellent. HOWEVER, the billing for labor is calculated "by package" rather than by actual time, so the charge ended up being around $450/hr just for labor. Please take your car to literally any other place, as they will not charge such ridiculous prices. I went here because of the good reviews, and I wish more people warned of the sketchy billing practices here. Edit to add in response: I understand I had multiple services, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with the billing! And as for the doctor vs specialist analogy: do you know that neurosurgeons make $380/hr, so I could literally have seen a neurosurgeon for less?! I had my Daughter bring my Nissan Murano to be repaired on 7/20th. Sheldon Ramoutar, the Nissan 112 Service Advisor contacted me on 7/28th letting me know my vehicle was still being worked on. My wife called today 7/29th, and Sheldon stated the vehicle was fixed, and we could come pick it up. We went to Nissan 112, paid the charges, as well as, a 3% additional charge for using a Credit Card, and left with my vehicle. A few miles down the road, my vehicle was doing the same thing it was doing when I left it on 7/20th. I contacted Sheldon and explained the status of the vehicle he said was fixed. Shelden asked me to bring back the vehicle on Monday, not today, since their transmission person was not in. I requested a loaner vehicle since we only have one vehicle to get around. Sheldon stated he did not have any. I could not understand why Sheldon asked me to pick up my vehicle if it was not fixed. It is clear to me my vehicle was not tested post repairs. In dealing with Sheldon, I left Nissan 112 feeling not very confident. I felt Sheldon was waving me off for some reason. I would like for the GM, Fran Lomenzo, to please give me a call. I also had a bad experience with this dealership, they definitely manipulate you. I was told that my car came with a 7 year warranty and the salesman said this is unheard of because it was a 2019 but it only had 2000 miles on it. which I found amazing and I couldnt pass that up. I was told one price and then when i purchased the car i put down $4000 which should have brought my car loan down. To make a long story short I was charged $4000 for the warranty It was not included in the price they wait until you sign to tell you that. I could of purchased the same warranty from the same company myself for less than half the cost. Thats how they make money. Dont ever buy a warranty from them you can can do it yourself. overall Im happy with the car, not the added cost . They will rob you blind and i also heard this from an employee at enterprise who deals with them. ( I had an accident and used the rentals from them ) They said they hear this from so many people. I cant undo it now but I will never buy from them again . I purchased the car over a year ago. Also the car salesman was really nice and helpful until I purchased the car and then would not answer my calls . I bought a new 2022 Rogue from South Shore Nissan about 6 weeks ago. My rear gate (trunk) would not open our close. I immediately called the South Shore dealership and spoke with the receptionist, she said the Service Manager would call me back. .The Service Manager called me back within 10 minutes. He was super nice and and said he understood my house was about 45 minutes from them but ,if I came in he would get someone on it immediately. He said I should go to Nissan 112 much closer to my home and tell Moe that Jim sent me. Well, I did and Moe, who was super professional and friendly got 3 mechanics to work on it right away. The car has had a complete remake so nothing is were it was in the 2021 model. This seemed to be a bit worrisome but ,these guys were great and very determined. I don't know who the dude using the computer was but ,he was trying to understand how these new changes made mechanical sense while two other people tried other things. Seriously, at one point they had 4 guys helping each other. Finally...the guy with the computer , gets it and in about 5 minutes its fixed. I was out of there in a half hour. Thank you all so much!!! I was very impressed with the cooperation between both dealerships , both Service Mangers professionalism and those mechanics were so determined to fix my problem and a big thanks to the genius guy who figured it out. LIARS.. UNPROFESSIONAL.. BS'ers.. DISRESPECTFUL.. I almost NEVER write reviews... ever.. but this dealership touched me on the next level of disgust, and brought the "karen" out. To start off, my wife and I came in for a vehicle.. everything was smooth sailing.. until the end. Started with the usual back and fourth, playing the dealer games, figuring out a fair deal. We were quoted "out the door price" for the vehicle we were interested in, from both the MANAGER and the SALES REP assisting us. We decided to leave and give ourselves some time to make up our mind. THIS IS WHERE THINGS GET UGLY.. We come back after an hour or so to complete the purchase. Sales rep (Justin) and I SHOOK on the price quoted prior and he starts writing me up. I take out the cash to complete the purchase.. and ALL OF A SUDDEN the managers switched up on the deal. They started LYING and saying stuff like "oh that wasn't out the door price... its finance price", when the WHOLE time we were negotiating the "out the door" FINAL PRICE, with the MANAGER(S) themselves. The word "finance" wasn't even mentioned, let alone be the topic of discussion. If that wasn't enough filth to turn anyone away, they TRIED to make ME feel STUPID as if I were DELUSIONAL... like we didn't JUST(and before) have the conversation for "out the door FINAL price", and didn't JUST shake on the deal. they dont deserve one any rating ...their add is deceiving tells you 33554 plus 1995 down which in the real world means subtract from the price not added to the price, then when I went to financing they told me I had too many car loans so my rate was 9.6-11 % that is why my rate was so high. I have 3 cars I was replacing one anyway . So I knew this was a lie went to my own bank the next day and go the same loan amount for 7.5 % interest rate which is what the going rate is right not and this was with not getting rid of any car loans . When I went back to the with this they told me the rate was high because as they tried to say it was my credit but I have no charge cards my bankruptcy was over 9yrs old then they basically said get a kick back from the bank and if I was using my own bank OR PAYING IN CASH that the price just increased 995$ so either pay this or finance the loan with them. This is not how a dealership should be treating a client. THE WORST AUTO BODY SHOP EVER!!!!!! If I could give this please zero stars I would. I purchased my lease from there and didn't have a problem with the sales person but the auto body shop is a whole different level of unprofessional assholes. It took them five hours for them to tell me I had a nail in my tire and for them to accuse me of lying to them meanwhile I drove off the lot with my tire pressure on because the autobody shop was closed the day that I bought the car. The asshole literally asked me if I lived near a construction site and that the nail that was in my tire is a construction nail and would never be on their lot. Trying to talk down to a younger girl because he thinks I'm inexperienced in cars and in nails I guess?? Lol I had to come back in a few days later (with a nail still in my tire) because they didn't have the tire I needed and had to order the part. I came back a second time and it took them three hours to change 1 tire 1 TIRE and I was one of the first ones there. Another time I returned for my complimentary oil change you get with the lease. I called in the morning and explained I had work until 4 PM they told me to come in at 4:15. I arrive at 4:15 on the dot and I am waiting there for 10 minutes with no one helping me. As someone approaches me they tell me that they have no techs and that they closed at 4 o'clock. Meanwhile there is 5 guys in the shop all working on cars. You're telling me those techs don't know how to do an oil change? They asked me to come back tomorrow during my work hours so that I can be one of the first ones served. I live 20/25 minutes away and explained to them I don't live close. No trying to help me out the day of just denying me right away. Do not walk RUN away - this is the worst place ever. read more

I have a 2021 Sentra. It started going through Oil like crazy with no leak. At first they say they warranty isn't valid because I didn't get my oil changes there. That is a lie. Once I showed them that, they wanted all receipts for my oil changes. I provided those. Then they tell me I am supposed to have oil changes every 5000 miles. Wrong again. Their owners manual states every 7500 - 10000 miles, and that was confirmed by their consumer department. I first dropped my car off August 21st. I was told they couldn't find anything wrong. They added oil, told me to drive it for 200 miles and come back. I dropped my car off again on September 5th. Been calling them everyday to get answers. I was told nobody can figure out the issue. On September 28th, we went in their fuming. Now they are trying to say there is sludge in the engine which only happens when you don't keep up with the maintenance (even though they have all the maintenance receipts). I have been told by 2 different outside mechanics that if it took them from August 21st to September 28th to find sludge, either they are lying to void the warranty, or their service people have no idea what they are doing. These crooks are doing everything possible to find a way out of honoring my warranty. It is now October 20th. I still don't have my car. Kristin and Moe from their service department consistently tell me they will call me back, and no matter how many messages I leave them, I never get a call back. I have even reached out to the Tantillo Auto group, and have gotten no reply from them. No loaner car, so I have spent a couple thousand dollars on a rent a car, and I am still expected to make my payments even though I havent even seen the car in a month and a half. If you are looking for a car, DO NOT GO TO NISSAN 112!!! read more

My first experience with Nissan 112 service was not a good one. I brought my car in for oil change and to check the malfunction of the door handle request switch. When I picked it up I was told the issue with the door handle request switch was fixed by changing the battery on the key, it was still not working, When I call the representative he told me it was fixed and tested, when asked to demonstrate it says, OK we'll check it again but this car was repaired therefore it is no longer in the warranty. Then he open the door and show me claiming it was repainted, I could not see anything in that regard. I got home and open the hood and find out a bottle cap inside the engine left from when they refill the brake fluid, which I was told that is needed. Needles to say I lost confidence in customer service and quality of simple repairs. read more

When they wanted us to fill out their survey they called numerous times, but as soon as we had an issue they didn't have time for us....in fact, Chris said he spent too much time with us and hardly made a commission... and the manager Mike never got back to us.
