The reason is they installed some jobber moulding that does not finish the gap at all. I was charged fifteen dollars for what they call an elantra moulding. It is not a Hyundai elantra moulding. I have to replace two wind shields on two of my motor homes and you can be sure it will not be at that shop. I am a licensed auto body mechanic and have been in the trade for over fifty years . they didn't value my time at all,…read more my appointment was scheduled for 1:00 pm and I arrived with the expectation of it taking about an hour or two at the most. well when I arrived, they toils me it would be two hours possibly 2 1/2 hours. so since t location is isolated in the middle of the industrial complex I was forced to compete with traffic even to cross the street. after 2 1/2 hours I returned and there was my truck in the parking lot. Not moved even an inch. so here I sit 3 hours later with the promise "we're bringing it in next". this is my second windshield here and I had the exact same experience last visit. WHY ASK FOR MY TRUCK AT 1:00 IF YOU DONT NEED IT UNTILL 4:00. Then rush to get it done... this will be my last business interaction with this company. BEWARE they will waste your time.

Things didn't get off to a good start as I was initially told I could just drop in, then when I dropped in the front counter lady told me I had to make an appointment. So, I made an appointment for the next week. After that it got much better. The windshield looks fantastic, it's nice to drive without looking at cracks in my windshield which I've had since I bought it 10 years ago. They had a couple of cancellations so they had the job done in just over an hour, which was a pleasant surprise. Their waiting area has free coffee and water and they pull your car back around to the front for you if there's a parking space free so chances are you won't have to walk to the back unless they're super busy. Will definitely come back if I need windshield services again.

My cousin recently had his brand new Lexus tinted here and old tint removed. After looking at their…read morewebsite, we thought these guys are professional and are XPEL dealers. So we brought our car in, The first time the tint was done, there was a big adhesive mark in the back window, which we brought back and they fixed. Next i noticed the XPEL film was defective, there were lines in it. When we brought in it to have it looked at, they said oh it's the lexus windows, which made no sense since one of the windows didn't have the marks. They said sorry XPEL won't cover it and we have to pay for replacement. Eventually they agreed to replace it. When they did, we noticed the rear window had 2 deep scratches in it. Very disappointing in a brand new car. they said oh we didn't do it, which isn't true but we couldn't do anything about it. Then we noticed one of the windows had a huge gap between the tint, when we asked, we were told "oh that's how the plotter cuts it" but the old place did it using a plotter and looked fine. They also lied saying, this isn't their tint job LOL what a joke. They said if you want it hand cut, it will be $110 for one small quarter window. It also turns out, they are not XPEL authorized, you can check the list on XPEL's website. I'm not sure how many of the reviews are genuine but being a local guide, i take pride in honestly reviewing businesses and this is one i'd stay away from.

I took my vehicle in for window tinting and Paint protection film. I had to take my vehicle back…read morebecause I was told that they could match the factory tint on my windows. After I picked the vehicle I noticed the the original tint was a blue base but the tint that was put on was more of a brown base tint. I took it back and they replaced it with a lighter tint and then was told, that they could not match dealers tint because the dealers quit sending them to them, so after having it done the second time I decided just to leave it. I was also told that the that the film to protect from rock chips was self healing and would heal itself and if any problems occurred not to worry it would be covered by warranty . I also had pointed out a few aeras I was concerned about and was told not to worry because if there was a problem it would be covered by warranty. Now I have had a rock go through the film and I called today I was told, I was not told that it was self healing and I just made it up, and that there would be no warranty. I asked him to go check the phone calls because it says that they are recorded when you phone and he refused to go back and check the recording. I would recommend finding a different company to do this work. This one has no integrity with their words or their work. Very sad to learn this the hard way.

Not only that but I call 3 to four times every week before I get a call back. I am hoping that something happens soon, but I am ready to call my credit card and ask for my money back. So called on the 24th of August, after two promises of delivery, and asked for Chris. It went to voice mail, so I called back. I told them that I was contemplating calling my credit card and cancelling the order, so I got a call back from Chris, guaranteeing that they would have the windows in by September 1, 2023. So I did call my credit card company and told them the story. If the windows are in and installed in a reasonable manner I may up my review hopefully to a four. Stay tuned for an update.

Now two and a half years later when the seal between the outside and middle panes on a three pane window is gone, they want to charge for the labor to install a replacement. Up front, we were told the warranty included everything, windows and service, but now it seems the service warranty was only for two years. How convenient. A year later we needed two more windows replaced. I called them and they sent out the older gentleman who seemed knowledgeable and informative but we never did get a quote from them. In the following weeks I called several times asking for the quote but no one ever responded. Right now I'm glad they didn't as I would be worrying about what it would cost if two more of their windows were to have problems. As others have mentioned, Chris is the company's worst enemy. She is rude, gets triggered by the simplest of questions, and never returns calls left on her voicemail. I can only think that she is an owner otherwise any company with commonsense management would have got rid of her long ago. All I can say is avoid this company, there are several better options in Edmonton and area.
