Came here looking for ramen, found another great sushi spot. Their ramen was okay, but they definitely specialize in their sushi. I had a sample that they gave out while I was there and that alone was very good. The staff here were super nice, and I really appreciated the amount of attention they had for the customers. It's very cute little restaurant, and I enjoyed my visit.

Cute little pot & cups of Green tea for 2.

This tiny sushi & ramen place in the Mall is very cute, interior professionally designed & has a fabulous ambiance & atmosphere. I see online everyone is complaining about the service, which is odd to me, bc I have always received excellent service here. The issues I find here are not the customer service, it's that they are constantly out of things on the menu. They don't have soft-shell crab or real crab for the sushi rolls. They don't have uni or salmon roe, quail eggs etc., However, one time hubby & I were here & he had the most incredible pork katsu. He still talks about it. He said it was the best one he has ever had. I had some pork ramen, it was meh at best. The sushi we have had up to date has been ok. I love the Cucumber salad. The green tea they serve here is amazeballs. However, yesterdays Tuna Tataki blew me mind. Def my fave dish here so far. Can't wait to order it again! :)... I wanted to try the tuna tartar that comes with the quail egg but they didn't have any quail eggs yesterday, hence the 4 stars. So moi asked if I could have the tuna tataki lightly seared, moi request was honored & the tuna tataki that was served me was indeed lightly seared, super fresh & super delicious, absolutely amazing flavor as well as beautifully presented. Superb. "Thanks so much chef for the excellent Tuna Tataki. Please get some quail eggs & we can work on that 5th star." Your move. See you soon. Recommended.

The food itself was good, but two reasons for this review: - Service was very slow at 3 pm on a random Thursday - three people seated after us received their food before we did and they were not short-staffed. - The two of us ordered the shrimp tempura appetizer for $9 - it came with only two shrimp, one average size broccoli floret, one tiny broccoli floret, two pieces of yam/potato, and one pepper ring. Perhaps add in the description it only comes with two shrimp?

Beef Ramen & Chuck Roll

I've been wanting to try this place for several years but it is very small and located on your way out of the food court at the Cordova Mall. It is almost always at capacity when I'm there so I've never had the opportunity until a few days ago. I got the Beef Ramen, my daughter got the Bento Box A, and we got a Chuck Roll to share. Hands down the best ramen and sushi in Pensacola. The ramen was exceptional as well. A+++++

Sting found in my ramen

This is the most insane experience I've ever had. I found pieces of string, a whole eggshell and glass in my ramen today and when I called to report it I was told to f myself and they hung up. Now a manager won't stop calling me. The cops and health department are now involved. DO NOT EAT HERE

A great surprise! I came across this place while walking through the mall. I was seated quickly, service was great and the food was delicious.

Friends and I came here to eat while exploring the mall. We were all excited to eat here after seeing all the people waiting in line. I had the crunchy shrimp, and the seafood spicy ramen which was good. Just a long wait for the sushi. Everything was all fine until my friend found a fly in her soup. Plus our server was taking a long time in coming back to our table.

The nippon chicken was good, but since we got it delivered it wasn't crunchy.I love the spider maki roll, it was good. The pot stickers were decent but the sauce wasn't good.It seems like soy sauce or may have been soy sauce instead of a dumpling or ponzu sauce. The katsu wasn't bad, and the fried rice was good.

The Grand Marlin - Their famous baked oyster Rockefeller

5/10/2026: Grand Marlin is top-notch!…read more We had an incredible experience here on May 10th. Our server, Brittany, gave excellent service and was incredibly accommodating. Since the three of us in our group aren't big eaters, we asked to split a portion of everything we ordered, and she didn't blink an eye. We started with the BBQ shrimp, which was fantastic! It's not a heavy, traditional BBQ flavor--it's more of a rich, New Orleans-style sauce. With six shrimp total, it was perfect for splitting, especially with the delicious bread served alongside it to soak up that amazing sauce. Nom!! Two of us split the wedge salad, and Brittany happily accommodated our special request for ranch instead of blue cheese. Our other friend had the kale salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. For the main course, the three of us split the filet mignon, which came with a dollop of mashed potatoes. The char on the steak was absolutely fabulous, and the potatoes paired with it perfectly! The restaurant is fairly dark and can get a bit noisy on busy nights, but we enjoyed our time immensely. Grand Marlin has private rooms and is easily the most high-end restaurant on Pensacola Beach. Our total was $178.00 before tip, which is well worth it. The attire ranges anywhere from dressy to beach casual, they have several great seating options for special occasions, and there's even a gift shop with some great finds. For anyone who remembers, this used to be the Boy on a Dolphin years ago. As an honorary Pensacolian since 1975, I consider myself a bit of an expert on all things Pensacola Beach--and you won't be disappointed here! Pro tip: Get a group photo by the bay before leaving. Even at night, it shows off those perfect Pensacola views.

What really sets Joe Patties apart is the quality. Nothing compares to the freshness of their fish and seafood. If you feel like you're paying a little more, just know that when you cook it properly at home, the quality more than justifies the price. One tip: if you're getting steamed shrimp, skip the pre-steamed option. Go to the counter, pick out the shrimp you want, and have them steam it fresh for you. Definitely grab one of their tubs of garlic butter and herbs and have them add half or the full amount depending on how much you're getting. I got the Argentine shrimp, about a pound and a half, and had them use half the butter. No one in my group expected it to be as good as it was. I set the plate down and it was gone in less than five minutes. I was lucky to even get three pieces for myself. We also purchased a whole grouper and had them fillet it for us. We seasoned it with their Everglades rub, and I have to admit it was probably the best grouper I've ever had in my life. The freshness makes all the difference. We grill often and have made grouper before, but it's usually been frozen, and it never comes out anywhere near this good.
