    Delicious layer cake!
    Tyler A.

My wife and I came here recently and had a fantastic experience. One of the biggest standouts here for us was the service. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive and genuinely deserves to be recognized for the exceptional job she's doing. As for the food itself, the sushi was very fresh and everything we tried was very tasty. We ordered spicy tuna rolls, hamachi, maguro, and Philadelphia rolls, and all of them were delicious. We also tried a pretty delicious/unique specialty roll that I can recall the name of at the moment. To top everything off, the staff brought us a complimentary desert cake that was perfectly light and absolutely delicious. Really a nice touch on an already great experience.

Our favorite Asian restaurant in south Denver, Little Basil, is now Ninja Sushi. We grieved this hole in the wall Thai place but thought we should try the new ownership. And we were not disappointed! All of the rolls were so good and obviously fresh fish. They even gave us a free dessert. Quick and easy - highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Delicious food, great atmosphere. Service was attentive and friendly. The sushi is fresh and the presentation was lovely. Will be back.

We were looking for an Asian restaurant that was open past 9pm. They were very limited. We found Ninja Sushi through Yelp, and we were so glad we did! We walked in, and there was no wait. The restaurant had several tvs up showing the NBA playoffs since the Nuggets were playing. It was very clean and had several tables available. Food was delicious and service was great! We ordered different types of sushi, ramen, and fried rice. We also started off with pot stickers and edamame. At the end of the meail, they gave us strawberry cake on the house (probably because we ordered so much ). We were definitely satisfied with our late dinner, and if we're ever in the area again, will be back!

Always looking for a new sushi place. This place has sushi, sashimi, noodles and fried rice dishes. They could make the fried rice gluten free. Service was great before more tables filled up. Once that happened it was not that great. We probably waited 15 minutes or more for our check payment to be picked up. Ambiance was interesting. Lots of tv screens on the walls. Some had sports on (eg a basketball game, USC swim meet) another showed a rotation of different sushi plates. The sushi bar was all the way at the back of the reatautant. A group of three seemed to be waiting for their pick up order (?) by the door for a very long time. So not very relaxing, but rather a mosh mash of things going on. Tried my standard chirashi and spicy salmon roll. Both were pretty good. All in all it was pretty good, just not amazing as of yet. Will have to visit a few more times, so will start with my standard 3 stars until I know more.

I sometimes order sushi from NinjaSushi for delivery and it's always fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. Today I decided to come in for dinner and check the place out. Sushi and shrimp tempura appetizers were good, but takoyaki was my favorite. As for the service: staff is nice, friendly, and very accommodating but they need some order management training: 1 appetizer was missed, and another appetizer was added that we didn't order, and sushi initially ended up at the wrong table before it arrived to ours. It's an ok place for sitting in, the atmosphere is not rushed and is quite welcoming. I loved their beautiful mural, check it out if you have a chance. Food - 5/5, Atmosphere - 4/5, Service 3/5. Overall - 4 but HIPO (high potential!)

Open area, nicely decorated with kind staff waiting to seat you. Very gracious staff members. Their sushi rolls are excellent. Love the ginger they provide. I can't say enough great things about Ninja Sushi!

The fish was very fresh. They had a few different rolls to try, making our stay great. Service picked up it seems once we ordered. Prior to that, it was mediocre unfortunately. We sat by the window so it was lighter than some parts of the restaurant making for a much better atmosphere.

Food was good, until I realized my chopsticks have mold on it. This business needs to make sure they are stored properly. I consumed most of my sushi before I started noticing a sweet taste in my mouth, and noticed the discoloration of the wooden chopstick. Never knew this could happen, but apparently it can. Check your food AND your chopsticks.

Probably the best sushi I've found in the area! The service a bit spotty, which is why I'm taking a point off. They seem pretty absent minded. I asked about specials, and the guy seemed clueless and couldn't describe basic stuff. Also- we gave our card and waited like 15 mins to receive the card back to pay. I kept eyeing the guy and then finally asked him to bring it back- and he was confused like "omg! Totally forgot!" They seemed overwhelmed. I'd say they need to train the wait staff better. But the food is good. And I've been there three times now, and will definitely continue to return. Just expect spotty service. There's TONS of tvs in there- entertainment for babies. Very baby/kid friendly. Clean, open, easy.

Heard so many rave reviews about this place that we drove from Parker to check to it out and WOW! Definitely did not disappoint. The interior is spacious with lots of seating. We were there between lunch and dinners, so it wasn't busy though there was a decent stream of people. Service was friendly and attentive but not obtrusive. We got our food quickly. The sushi was AMAZING and tasted so fresh. The plating was gorgeous as well The rolls were interesting and there was a lot of variety and options. I was overwhelmed with the choices but we managed to narrow it down. Our favorite rolls were the crazy tuna, magic, and mango rolls. The futo maki was also excellent. Definitely looking forward to going back asap!

I do wish that I had saved some of the soba for when the hamachi came out but I did order those later. I would have preferred the hamachi to come with a bit of rice on the side but my boyfriend didn't mind the salad. It's a great date spot and if we were to sit inside there's options for Japanese style floor seating. When you go inside they ask you to take off your shoes and provide slippers for the restroom. Izakaya's are Japanese bars that have quick bites and snacks to choose from. I was excited to see we were heading in. Once arrived on Sunday night we were greeted and welcomed. Asked if we would like to take our shoes off and walk in as in Japanese culture this is very common. It really felt like I was in a Japanese izakaya in Japan We ordered - Tofu Steak - Baked Salmon w/ ikura & rice - Duck Skewers - Salmon Carpaccio Everything was delicious and cooked well. I could have ate 2 bowls of the salmon. Everything is nicely sized but a good size to not get too full to order more. This location is combined with another sushi restaurant and it's cool to see the sushi being made in front of you. Will be back!!

We talked with him about his home, learned about his experience in Denver, and he provided some fun facts about sushi and Japanese in culture in general. I cannot praise this truly unique experience enough, and, in fact, we have been back here every single year. The cherry on top is that as you return, Chef Yasu starts to remember your preference and even past conversation. And it does not end there. Based on our conversation where I discussed my next Japan trip, Chef Yasu even took time to send us an email with his recommendations. And to be frank, I certainly didn't have the 4.7 star experience that many others raved about. Service: Not bad but "basic" is certainly enough to accurately describe it. The young lady upfront was nice but still I was met with something quite "bland" with all cookie-cutter normality. Food: I did the build your own bowl. I got salmon, baked eel and steak to enhance my meal (protein rich). For the base, I did sushi rice with some greens. They also have brown rice and what's called "pokeco rice". The young lady said it's rice with coconut with green tea. Very unique indeed and yet I didn't have the guts to try it out. LOL! Maybe next time. A bowl of miso soup came with the bowl and this was quite the disappointment. It was lukewarm with very bland taste. I know this wasn't the main part of the whole meal or experience and yet this made me think that this restaurant may not be living up to the current high rating. I know this sounds like a harsh appraisal but I simply couldn't dismiss the fact. The restaurant inside was quite cute and clean. Fairly small but ample space to accommodate a good number of guests. This place is quite close to my day job office. For that reason, I might consider going back if I ever crave for some decent poke. I If or when I do so, I would love to like this place.
