If I could give No star that's what I would rate this place. Theee worst nail salon I've ever been to. I just moved to the area and thought I'd give it a shot. I went in for a French tip overlay and the woman clearly couldn't handle it, she cut my finger, so someone stepped in to help and just made everything worse! I left, slept on it and decided to call back the next morning. The person on the phone was extremely rude when I explained what happened and that I needed someone to fix my nails. I went in and I believe I got the owner and she was so unfriendly and unapologetic. She cut another one of my fingers. Re -did my nails sooo thick I don't understand what she was thinking. This is sad to write , I tried to support this nail salon for many years however, the quality is just really bad. I came yesterday after asking if I could come in late and they said they could accommodate me. I even said I would come back to do the manicure and the pedicure was fine very attentive, however the dip manicure they did in the pedicure chair and as you can see was very subpar not even acceptable. It is lumpy, they used a UV lamp for the dip which I think ruined it right away because they were in a hurry. I would've rather they said to come back. They don't care about quality and, I didn't complain and I tipped them well because it was after hours by 15 minutes but this is absolutely atrocious after 24 hours. read more

Just being really rude one day I was getting my nails done and the phone rings and they answer and a customer asked if they where busy and if they have time for a full set And literally no one was in the nail salon literally and I hear from the nail tech that is sitting on the pedicure chair and tells the customer they can't do there nails because they are busy right now my mouth dropped there was four people sitting doing nothing just be careful when you come to this place you never know what your going to receive I hope they can improve there customer service skills and try to understand people in a better way read more

Nope nope nope! Just don't do it! My normal place was closed so I decided to try out this place- I mean I was only getting myself and my daughter a pedicure and the my daughter a gel manicure how bad could it be... well let me tell you! First I noticed that one of the women were wearing "shorts" that showed her entire butt- cool girl, you got it but I don't need to see that! Then she started the water for my daughter and I, we dipped our feet in and then she said "gel Polish right"- nope not for our feet so we had to get back out of the water, dry our feet and go pick a color (no one told us to choose a color when we walked in or anything and since we have never been there we weren't sure). Then the pedicure started- well my daughter seemed to have a lady who knew what she was doing but I had the butt lady, who I'm pretty sure was new and I'm positive was inexperienced. The pedicure was subpar with no massage at all. Ok back on track: she asked if I wanted a "deluxe" so I said "well do you have something I can look at to see the different offers" well she brought me boxes of different powders and stuff to add to my water and told me it was an extra $15 for mine and $10 for my daughters - ok fine. She then goes to grab the bottle of callus remover and the lid pops off and it goes all over my legs, thighs, chair... everywhere! So I grabbed the towel dipped in and started cleaning it off because that stuff BURNS! Well a few minutes later It starts burning under my eye- so I cleaned that off as well with alcohol (only thing that kept it from burning). The "pedicure" goes on and she gets to the hot towel which she laid directly onto my legs after they came out of the "oven"- burned the back of my leg then grabbed the hot stones that she used for maybe 1 minute and within that minute dropped them into the tub making a loud clanking noise (obviously it just wasn't her day)... she painted and missed portions of my nails (just look at any of the other pictures on these reviews) and they are all bumpy- I could have done it better myself. My daughter eventually goes over to get her manicure done which instead of painting the design used "silver tape"- again I could have done it at home! Here is the best part- if you're still reading... they charged me $134!!!!!! I cannot for the life of be find out how they calculated that based off their prices online. No discount at all even though my daughter and I left with chemical burns on our legs and everything else we dealt with! I will never go here again and Highly recommend you skip this place as well! read more

Well I think I found my spot. My main requirement for a nail salon is clean & sanitary. So first they use bowl liners in the pedicure bowls. The tools were sanitary and the mail tech wore gloves. The water could have been warmer, I was offered several different types of deluxe pedicure treatments which was great. One thing I would like more was better color choices and my toenails filed a little more round. I didn't get the young lady's name who did my pedicure but she did a good job overall. read more

The bond used for the powered did not set well.... Went in with a simple almond shape and french tip reference photo. The entire time I was there nobody else came in but the woman doing my nails rushed through the entire thing. Some nails were crooked and when I asked her if she could touch up the messy shapes she didn't change anything. Some nails were cracked and jagged as well as had holes in the acrylic along the edges of my cuticles. I was left with acrylic residue all along my fingers as well as nail polish. Pretty decent little nail place, they offer anything you need. We had two mani pedis, and they seated us almost immediately upon walking in. They did try to get us to upgrade our pedicures several times, which was a little annoying, but I know most people like that. This was my first time coming to this place, I've heard so many good things and actually have SEEN some of their work and they do great.... just not on me??? I'm not sure what fucking happened honestly but I walked in there with 4 broken nails, the rest were my natural nails I have been growing for 5-6 months I made an appt and told the lady I wanted a full set SNS with 4 tips. When I sat down I told this lady I wanted to PROTECT MY NAILS to NOT cut them I just needed tips on the four broken ones and I wanted a simple glitter moment DAS IT. Now when I got there I still had SNS from before on my nails so she used a tip to take off the SNS and let me just say she was anything but gentle and just when I thought she couldn't get anymore fucking rough she RIPS OFF my fucking thumb nail. I mean SNAP it breaks off and it did NOT feel good. I gasped and looked at her and you know what she fucking did?? Fucking smiled. I couldn't even think of a reaction I just sat there aghast as this woman just broke my nail off being rough and she's smiling at me like she did nothing wrong. At this point I couldn't believe what had happened but thought to myself it's okay it's just one more nail that needs a tip no biggie.. HA.. HAHAHA not even close. As she finished putting the acrylic on my nails (you caught that right, acrylic not fucking SNS like I asked because in her terms it's easier and looks the same) she started to shape them..... this is where shit went ALL THE WAY SOUTH. She had left a good amount of excess on the under to my nail which I found super weird because uh it's acrylic it gets hard and then it's even harder to take off?? Well.. she turned my fucking hands over and she definitely took the acrylic off.... the acrylic AND my natural fucking nails I have been growing for 5 to 6 months......... I now have no long natural nails they are fucking shaved slim thin and another to a nub. They look nice sure, but I didn't just want them to look nice. I wanted her to protect my nails.. she did NOT. After she drilled down my index finger to a nub I told her please watch out for my nails you drilled this one down and now it's gone and she told me no I no cut I trim them I just trim them no worries. YES WORRIES. Not to mention she did a botched ass job with shaping with covering my full nail and also my nails are sensitive as fuck now. Thanks for nothing Nini's Nail Salon. ZERO STARS. Absolutely WORST experience I've had at a nail salon. They told me to come in 5:00pm for my appointment and they had me waiting for an hour and a half before I was helped. What's the point of scheduling an appointment? I speak Vietnamese and I could understand all the nail techs talking crap about me continuously even after I told them I could understand what they were saying about me. I've been to this nail salon three other times before this, so I was very disappointed with my recent trip. I got new tips for my nails, and to remove my old ones this older man took a giant toe nail clipper to them to cut them off. He was ripping my nails and I told him twice he was hurting me, but didn't seem to care. Then he clipped into my actual nail and made me bleed. I told him to take them off a different way and he told me no, that this is how everywhere does it and when he puts the polish on, my nail will come together. I let him finish and he only did one coat on my nail, and then charged me $40 (which was $10 more than last time and I did nothing fancy) and they charged my friend the same price who had tips and a design as well. I'm not really one to complain but today I came in and got my nails done and I'm not happy with them. It's been a few years since I've been to this salon but decided to try it out again since my normal place was pretty booked. I wanted a rebase but was told I couldn't get the gel color I wanted because of the powder I had on from my original set. I was perfectly fine getting a new set and 2 of the older men were talking off my nails and one of the guys cut 2 of my nails down really far on the corners making me bleed, he even asked if it hurt and I said yes but he kept going anyway. My nail tech took over an hour and a half to do my nails so I thought he was being very thorough(which he might have been) and my nails didn't look bad from afar so I didn't think of looking at them super closely until I got home to show my husband which was a mistake. I have acrylic coming up the sides of my nail beds and the tip isn't even attached on one of my thumbs so it's going to lift faster. The shape just isn't flattering. I sadly won't be going back. Still looking for a good nail spot in NE ABQ. Nini's is close to my house so I tried it out for a pedicure. The technician was very friendly and got me sat right away. I loved that they use bowl liners. The cutting of nails went great but then she never scrubbed/cleaned the dead skin from my heals. Also, the foot massage lasted no more than 10 seconds on each foot. Very disappointing. The nail painting was also sloppy. I would never pay $22 for this service again. read more
