I came here for a pedicure and all that was fine. This place is very busy and I know that my review isn't gonna affect that but what really bothered me was once the pedicure was done, I wasn't really told where to go or where to sit and they don't have dryers for your toenails and you just sit in a chair for 20 minutes and just let them dry on their own. Of course, all I could think about is if I leave too early and my polish messes up I'm sure they're gonna say this was my fault. Anyway, just that little piece of lack of communication and for such a large place, lack of dryers for the toenails is enough to make me not return. I live in New York and I compare it to that where your nails are treated like gold Before you leave, someone comes over and they're very serious about making sure you have drying spray and wrapping your nails in cellophane and they do it with care and commitment because they know they just did a really good job and they don't want to mess it up or have to redo it. Once the paint job was done I became invisible. I'm sorry I left a $10 tip for $30 pedicure. read more

I am absolutely loving my nails. Luz is the best; she took care of me and gave me the service I asked for. She made me feel comfortable, didn't rush one bit, and took her time. She made my vision come to life. Did not feel like I was in the nail salon she geniuly made me feel comfortable the vibes are different when you are getting your nails done at Nina's nails I definitely recommend. Appalled at the demeanor of this nail salon and Julie! I was being treated very roughly and told by the nail tech there is something wrong with my nails for asking the bubble the tech created with the polished to be corrected. I was disappointed in this experience and will never be coming back, I was treated horribly and the owner should be aware of how their employees treat their customers. Nina the owner is always around smiling and making conversation with everyone, shes so sweet. I used to bet my pedi by helen but she moved, but all the other girls ive tried after have been amazing. THEY STACK CLIENTS AND MAKE UP PRICES. I confirmed the price of an acrylic overlay prior to being seated and after waiting 3 hours to get in the share after my pedi. they quoted me 33 then changed it to 53 after doing one hand. The quality of and service was terrible. Vibe was completely off and all customers were irritated questioning when they would be seated after waiting up to an hour with an appt. DO NOT GET A PEDICURE HERE! They think they are podiatrists and try to remove imaginary ingrown nails. We've seen those ingrown/impacted nail removal videos, right? Where they dig into the side of the nail and pull that long piece of gunk? That's great if a problem exists and it's done by a professional. The woman doing my pedicure tried so hard to dig something up that I had to tell her to stop what she was doing because it hurt so bad and I was bleeding. I got a NASTY infection with puss oozing! Because I told her to stop due to the pain, she caused an ingrown nail!!! The side of the nail was poorly cut and digging into my skin. It was so painful because my toe was tender, but I had to remove that piece of nail that was left behind. They should be ashamed of themselves and I will never go back. read more

You want to make an appointment at this salon! Even with an appointment I had to wait about a half an hour because they were so busy... But that's not to say my experience with anything less than stellar! Chris did such an excellent job in approximately half the time it takes at other salons, so I got out of there exactly what I expected to. I brought my own polish because I've been looking for an extremely natural look, so I had to match my nail bed color - I got mine on Amazon. Chris took one look at the color and knew exactly what I wanted. I didn't even have to tell her to make the acrylic super thin and natural. Took my Grand Daughter to this place and She requested a regular pedicure & a gel manicure. During the pedicure the women pulled the cuticle all the way around the toe which hurt but she just let her finish. But she said it hurt really bad. After about a week, we noticed her toe was swollen and there was puss coming out of it, it got red and infected. Won't be going there again. read more

First time client with Kevin this morning and I am perfectly satisfied with my results. The shop was well kept and clean. I wanted a fill on my dip nails but he informed me they were simply acrylic and so that's how he proceeded which saved me some $ on the service. He was able to reshape my nails to look more natural just as I asked. I brought in an inspiration photo for my design and he did his best to match it. My inspiration was specifically for a Barbie event I have this weekend. The real test will be if the nails hold up. Love coming here. Was recommended by one client and have been coming ever since. Nina and Tracy are great. Nina is funny and personable and sweet. Tracy is sweet and pays great attention to detail. Me and my best friend both come here. My acrylic last 3-4 weeks but my nails grow super fast O normally around the 3 week mark. They do not break off or feel cheap. Both ladies take their time and do an excellent job. Love the pedicures as well, always satisfied and they always ask for my preference which I appreciate. I received a manicure and pedicure. They cut my cuticle in the manicure, filing was crooked, and the polish was uneven.

This is my go to nail salon in the Big SF Valley (I can't make my other EXP nail place salty). I stumbled across this gem of a nail salon four years ago. I needed a place to get my nails done after work and good ol' Yelp led me to Nina's Nails. I have been to Nina's nails countless of times and this is my favorite salon in the Valley thus far. (I have been to plenty trust me even those highly rated *rolling my eyes). I think it is mostly because of their customer service. You get a smile and greeted as if they have known you for a long time (I found out the third time I walked in she actually remembered me with some details lol) Each time I have been here I have had no more than a great experience with the service they provide. If you call in they will tell you to come on in. Most of the time I have been seated right away. The most I have waited tops has been 20 minutes even on a Friday evening (Y'all know what Friday evenings look like at the nail shop LOL) They have plenty of staff working even during the day. Their prices are standard and reasonable. I like that they always go out of their way to keep their customers satisfied and happy. If you aren't happy with something they will fix it (Like the time I went home smudged my nail called and she said she would fix it). They have done my acrylics, gel mani and pedi, dip powder manicures and of course pedicures (keep your feet clean ladies). They are very accommodating with any specific designs you may want. I do have to say that one of my pet peeves is getting haggled to purchase other things. That is not the case here! I will continue to be a customer of Ninas cause they make my feet and hands look pretty. She has some parking spots designated to her Nail salon that are usually taken but the lot is huge and I have always found a spot. You just gotta read cause some are designated to other businesses. read more

This place is busy. You better make an appointment. I made the mistake to do a walk-in and I ended up waiting a hour. BUT I will say it was worth it. Diane took care of me. I did a simple pink and white powder ombré and told her just a clear coat on top. Did a full set acrylic and she told me $55. Not bad. Diane was fast and efficient. Only took an hour and 5 mins start to finish. They don't do ALL the necessary steps to help with nail damage and that kinda thing but I wasn't upset and appreciated the fast service. She took out a sparkly gel clear coat and recommended the clear coat but failed to tell me that was an additional $10. But again, they came out better than expected and gave a $10 tip because I was more than satisfied! I will definitely make an appointment next time. Lol read more

I started going to this place because my niece recommended to me i live in Burbank so I thought I would try it out I've gone quite a few times I keep saying I won't go back just because some of the employees are so rude when you tell them what you want they look at you like really and they start talking there language just this past Friday the 13 I went back I got a pedi and gel mani Tracy did my toes and when I ask her if she thought that color was ok or to dark for me she answered well if you don't like it don't do it and my mani started peeling the next day. I'm going to start of by saying I will ONLY go to Chris if I need my nails done close to home there are some people in this salon that don't know how to treat nails. I came in with acrylics that needed to be taken off. My nails were long underneath and I understand that she needed to cut them to get the acrylic off but she cut way too short and dug into my hands cutting the cuticle. I was in so much pain during and after. She kept spraying the open wound with alcohol and it was burning so bad under the UV. Never had this experience before. It was terrible. Worse service and customer services. I don't recommend you giving them your service. Called and asked if they have availability. They said to come in. I leave everything drive all the way to get there and do my nails and relax.. get there and they change their word and tell me i have to wait because they have a customer. They stressed me out so much I couldn't even operate my vehicle. This is NOT Acceptable. I don't have the free time to go back and forth or go sit there and wait because they decided to squeeze in another client or a walk in for extra business. Worse customer service. I have been here twice. Once with Yen and this time I got acrylics so the the receptionist put me with Kevin. He did a great job and he is super fast and dedicated. He perfected the shape I wanted with absolutely no imperfections, I am very picky. The salon is not that clean so if you're looking for a exquisite looking salon it's not the place.
