Consistently Incredible Club Fittings!…read more I used these guys to upgrade my putter, driver, fairway woods, wedges, and irons in individual fitting sessions. The putter experience dropped my putts per round by 7, the driver session significantly extended my length and tightened my dispersion, the fairway woods brought noticeably better consistency, the wedge fitting yielded "dang! Did I just hit THAT shot" reliability, and the irons have me asking myself why I waited so long to make the change. This is a no-lose experience. The fitting fee is lopped off the purchase price. And you have 90 days to get a replacement if what you purchased does not perform. On the replacement, I took back the Titleist 58-degree wedge I purchased and swapped it for a 60-degree six weeks later. No questions asked! Highly recommended, particularly given the 90-day swap out option which the competition (you know ... the guys that claim to be the champion of such things) will absolutely NOT do.

A golfers swing is the most important thing so equipment can be good or bad depending on how they are swinging at any point in time. But so far my clubs are a bust. Money spent does not mean lower scores. Lessons are probably a better investment.

I scheduled a full bag fitting and would recommend the same to anyone considering the service even if you're only looking to upgrade part of your set. You will get to play with the best of the best in combinations available on the market to date and even if you don't buy, the experience is well worth your time. Being a newer golfer, I went into the experience a little hesitant, not confident that I would be consistent enough for the metrics or if I needed this much attention to my recreational playing style. Michael assured me in the beginning that at any level the fitting is necessary for new golfers, pros, and players in between, to assess if your current set up is working for or against you, as your skill develops, technology improves and as we all do; age. Had I bought a new set-up from stock selections without coaching I would have selected a max driver, game improvement irons with standard flex shafts and a completely different styled putter. I ended up with a much more player series set up with custom length stiff flex shafts. Hitting them consistently better and noting performance increases within the metrics as well the ability to have a set I can grow with as my skill improves vs. something I would have to replace after outperforming them. I am 100% convinced that a custom set up is hands down without comparison better than any off the shelf set up out there. The head, shaft and grip combinations are endless and psychologically knowing that every time you take your bag out at the course you can look down and know it was custom built just for you. From there zero communication on when they would be delivered and was given a 4 week rough timeline and was told I would receive shipping info. 7 weeks later, and zero updates from either golf galaxy or Mizuno, my clubs finally arrive only to find out they are the wrong handedness. On top of that no shipping instructions to get a signature and were left at my door step for who knows how long. Atrocious customer service making me take time out of my day to drop off the wrong clubs with little to no effort to try and make the situation right. Would recommend driving any amount of time to a different business to get a club fitting. One that will actually order the correct clubs and communicate with you on when they will be shipped and delivered.. 0/5 if I could

To paraphrase Dire Straits, "He'll do everything for you..." He's a good teacher. An expert in repair and on equipment. He remembers customer names. He goes the extra mile. Example? Two of my iron shafts snapped recently beneath their grips. Happened about two months apart. They had rusted. For the second repair, Kevin contacted the manufacturer, got the new shaft, and repaired it without charge. Now....who's going to do that for you at a chain store? Great place. They'll take good care of you and make you feel at home.
