Going on for about a year about a golf shaft I PAID for and was never shipped or delivered, well at least that's what I was told. I have spoke to multiple Golf Galaxy/Dick's members, multiple managers, got direct golf reps on the phone while I was there (that they called), no call backs to me once leaving and no answers when stopped in multiple times. Paid for a golf shaft and never received it. Bad thing is that no one seems to have an answer to this situation. Maybe I'll apply for a job and solve it myself. read more

Joke of an establishment. I went in for a club fitting, hit around 150 balls resulting in buying $1500 worth of irons. From there zero communication on when they would be delivered and was given a 4 week rough timeline and was told I would receive shipping info. 7 weeks later, and zero updates from either golf galaxy or Mizuno, my clubs finally arrive only to find out they are the wrong handedness. On top of that no shipping instructions to get a signature and were left at my door step for who knows how long. Atrocious customer service making me take time out of my day to drop off the wrong clubs with little to no effort to try and make the situation right. Would recommend driving any amount of time to a different business to get a club fitting. One that will actually order the correct clubs and communicate with you on when they will be shipped and delivered.. 0/5 if I could read more

Well the name says it all. No not here, it should be Golf & Tennissmith. They have a full size tennis court inside here. When you walk in you think , OMG this place is big. With just about everything under the sun for Golf and Tennis, I can not think of a better one stop shop if you play both sports. Yes a full size Tennis Court and an area with a backboard. You can try out racquets on the court or hit on the backboard. The golfer, you can hit off the driving range , sand trap range, or computer generated swing range. With all the different golf clubs out there, they seem to have most of them. If your game is Tennis or Golf, give this place a try. You will be amazed when you walk in. read more

My husband sister and I came to shop here for some items we needed. The place is beautiful and so many great clothing and products available. However no one offered to assist us and spent a lot of time looking what we needed. Maybe everyone was busy stocking up. One associate at the check out was rude. I asked her for a price match and stated that the color I had selected couldn't be matched. But if I got the same hoodie different color I could get it price matched. Also- she said they don't military discount .... I told her we never had an issue with this before- this is when she got irritated and we had a bad experience. read more

I brought my son in for an iron fitting as well as looking for a set of golf clubs. He is just starting to get into golf. The store is well-stocked with clubs, and even has golf simulators so that you can try out the clubs in the store. The person that performed the fitting was very attentive and found a set that met all of our criteria. They made some slight modifications for the clubs as requested. The clubs were ready for pick up very quickly and we are very satisfied customers. read more

We were in the area vacationing and needed more golf balls, so we stopped here. I walked around a long time trying to find the women's golf gloves and eventually a sales clerk explained where they stuck them (even he seemed confused about their location). When hubby was ready to check out and could see 3 sales associates standing around and not making eye contact with him, we decided to leave without purchasing anything. Bought my new golf shoes here not too long ago. Excellent selection for the ladies but what I really liked - the ability to wear the shoes while taking a couple of swings on their indoor practice range. What a nice feature! You can do the same to test out clubs too. As everyone says this place IS huge! And the staff member we worked with was very knowledgeable too. We'll definitely be back to fulfill our golf equipment needs. read more

I typically don't love chain stores like this and wasn't thrilled when it first opened. Especially knowing Carolina Custom Golf near me closed soon after. I think the level of service is never as good at these massive chain stores especially when it comes to something as personal as golf. This is not your usual chain store though. Every time I have been in this store they have done something to thoroughly impress me. It is now the only place I shop for golf equipment. They will literally spend hours with you just to fit you for a single club. They also have 24 packs of medium quality golf balls that say recycled but are usually just leftovers from tournaments that they sell for $9.99. Keep your eyes out for coupons that are constantly floating around, too. Most recently I bought some very pricey golf shoes there and played 9 holes in them to find that they just were not right on my feet and I shouldn't have turned down sizing help from the staff when it was offered. I brought them in and even though the shoes were worthless to them they gave me a full refund on my card. There is literally no where around that will do that. They also have an awesome selection of used clubs that are almost brand new. I bought a 1 year old driver for less than 1/4 of what a new one goes for and it looked like it had never been used. Great selection, knowledgeable and helpful staff and low prices. I had serious doubts about this place but they know what they are doing. read more

This place is huge. I've been to dozens of Golfsmiths and this one is a beast. It has a huge practice/lesson center to demo clubs. Apparel section is massive and same with shoes. If they don't have it...no one does read more

I came here with my boyfriend, he needed new everything. Dave came out and helped him from everything with an extensive club fitting, to shoes, bag, balls, and even 20 minutes to find the perfect glove. I'm sure that the next time he needs something we will be driving back to Raleigh and talking to Dave. He was so helpful. Everything seemed about right, price-wise. read more

Before coming I searched for GolfSmith in Raleigh and saw they had some pretty terrible reviews when it came to customer service. Not the the case. Walked in, was approached by friendly employees who helped with what I needed. Went to the shop to lengthen some clubs, Lou (the shop man) was able to get them done within 2 hours! If I could give this store 6 stars I would. I don't write many reviews but I feel like after this experience that my wife and I had I need to share. We were in there to buy my wife new clubs as well for me to buy a new wedge. After looking around, I went to ask about a price and it turned out to be the GM. The time and attention to detail that he showed my wife, myself and even my child was spectacular. He took the time to talk to me about the right clubs for me, my wife and even talked us out of a $60 set of clubs for my 2-year-old. Also when it came down to buying or not, he was not pressure selling us. I have spent a lot of time and money in multiple different Golfsmith's and other golf businesses and have never received such friendly and informative service. If you're in the market for anything golf, I would recommend this Golfsmith as well as Chinda the GM ! read more

DO NOT include your headcover if you trade-in any driver, fairway wood or hybrid. Golf Galaxy will not offer you any more in trade if you include a cover. Now, according to the little man that called himself the "manager", if you buy a used club off the shelf, he will not let you pick out a used headcover out of the four headcover bins near the registers. His comment to me was 0n Friday, Dec. 8,2017, was I'm not giving you a headcover with the purchase( I was gonna buy a used hybrid) because I would be losing $10", which the headcovers were $9.99 + tax. I asked him when did the policy change on getting a cover with the purchase of a used club and he told me they have never gave a cover with the purchase. Bullshit. Its always been that way. The little man called himself a store manager and didn't know the store has always gave a cover with a used club purchase. I thought Golfsmith employees were bad enough but these dudes don't know crap. Dave and Lou are always the nicest and most helpful employees there. Any headcover is included from the manufacturer. This little man manager is charging people for things that should be included. You suck dude, learn the policies or GTFO. read more

I purchased a new driver at this location the day after christmas. It was my first major golf purchase. Up until now golf was just a hobby that I liked to do but didn't want to invest heavily in. I got a great deal on the club and was very happy with my purchase. A month later I had a day off and it was a great day so I decided to head to the range and try out my new club. I had hit a about 20 balls and then on a swing the head of the driver flew off the shaft and landed about 30 yards down the range. I was so stunned that my brand new club had just broke on the first time I was using it! I rushed back to Golfsmith, hoping that they would fix it at little to no cost. I did not have the receipt anymore. As soon as I walked in someone helped me. They told me to go grab a brand new club off the floor and they would just replace it for me!!! I was so happy and very satisfied! I will now continue going to this location for all my future purchases and recommend them to all my friends and family! read more
