After we reviewed all other quotes, we decided to go with Joel because he had the best pricing. His pricing rivaled shops where you have to take your car in to their store. Joel's comes directly to you & that relieved the burden of taking time out of our day to go to a shop. Appt was quickly scheduled for the next day & at the time we requested. Day of Appt: He texted us prior to his arrival & was great at communicating. We live in an apartment. Even though we don't have a driveway, he was still able to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Took him about 45min-1hour from start to end. Although their price was slightly higher (but not by much), I chose them because of their prompt response and professionalism--I was ready to get my window fixed without further delays. Joe explained that the glass would take about four days to arrive and that prepayment was required. He clearly outlined the next steps and sent an invoice shortly after. The entire process--from my Yelp request to receiving the invoice--was completed within an hour. The next day, Joe called to let me know the glass had already arrived and that I could bring my car in. Since I was at work, I scheduled an appointment for Friday morning. I wish I could give zero stars…read more I had my windshield replaced on a Monday by a Safelite mobile installer out of Rancho Cucamonga. By Wednesday--literally just a day and a half later--a 10-inch crack appeared out of nowhere. My wife started the car, began backing out, and immediately heard a loud cracking sound. No impact. No rock chip. Just a loud snap and a visible crack stretching and splitting from the upper lip of the windshield. We made an appointment for Friday to get it inspected, only to have Safelite move it to Monday without explanation. The installer then showed up 40 minutes later than the time they texted. When he finally looked at the damage, he claimed it was caused by an "impact mark." It wasn't. The supposed "impact" was just the crack itself splitting--anyone with common sense could see that. I spoke with a supervisor who was completely unhelpful. He kept repeating, "I can't do anything if the installer says it's an impact," even though there was zero proof of one. Safelite refused to honor their own warranty on a windshield that cracked within 48 hours of installation. I've filed a formal complaint and will be following up with the Better Business Bureau as well. This was my first time using Safelite--and definitely my last. Absolutely unacceptable customer service and a total lack of accountability. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that actually stands behind their work. UPDATE!!! Order # 06278-180642
