I was so happy my car insurance covered the repair but if not, I remember they charge a very reasonable fee that I was willing to pay if my insurance wasn't going to cover it... had a small crack repair and was told it was go away and only see a slight smudge from the inside. after the repair the crack was still 100 percent visible from the inside and out. after the fact they told me that the crack would still be visible and they only care about the integrity of the window. please be transparent with what's going to happen otherwise i would've taken my business elsewhere. i had taken it for another opinion after wards and was told that they did a horrible job and that this could have been prevented. read more

First windshield had a defect they offer to get me another they failed to confirm my second appointment I had to call in to confirm the windshield they installed was not only not the one I had asked for but a completely different brand . Had they called me and told me my requested glass was not available on the schedule date I would have cancelled and waited for the correct windshield. This windshield I have now I feel is one of those need a temp windshield until I have money to buy the correct one. I should have just bought my windshield from the dealer and have them install. I'm a daughter of a former auto mechanic I know the difference. Meanwhile I now have a windshield on my car that doesn't make feel safe. Cheap yes safe no. The original repair order came in with a different time frame than I requested and had to confirm my original timeframe they wrote it wrong in the initial order but had it back office correct. I'm really disappointed in this company. On top of that they broke my window washer connection cable stating it old now I have to replace that as well. Another expense I didn't need. To anyone who wants to use them make sure to check the window brand before they install. To make sure you are getting the correct glass. I learned any expensive lesson. read more

Super happy with my service today. Alejandro was fast and efficient. He was very friendly and he went above and beyond!!!! He cleaned up glass that had fallen in the cracks and just did a lot more than I expected. Initially I called Safelite but they were going to make me wait a week. All star was recommended by mercury and I am super happy. The only issue I have which is my fault for not catching it... the new window (back window) is a lot different than what I had.... It has lines on it which I really don't like.... Also the sides are an off white and block some of the view which wasn't the case before... I had an appointment today to replace the front windshield on my 2023 Hyundai Elantra. I was referred to this shop by my car insurance Mercury. I am extremely satisfied with the job done. I was quoted 2 hours to complete the job, but it was done in 1 hr, so I was very happy about that! Alex helped me out, very nice guy! The shop is clean, everyone their is friendly. Hopefully I never have another broken glass issue, but if I do, this is the spot to take your cars too. While driving to work this morning my husband's windshield was hit with a very large object and not only did it put a crack in the windshield but it put a hole in the windshield and small tiny pieces of glass flew into the car. Overall a fair experience with some exceptions. My windshield was replaced as expected within the time-frame provided (~ 2 hours). Upon inspection, there was a small amount of black excess 'sealant' protruding (bulge) out of the driver's side top windshield mount. I brought this to the attention of the lady in the front office at 5 PM on a Friday. She said I would need to bring the vehicle back on Monday to get it fixed since they were already closed at 5 PM (although their website and when I made the appointment said they CLOSE at 6 PM). That was a minor inconvenience. I returned on Monday at 8 AM and a man immediately took care of me and removed the excess 'sealant'. However, he claimed to have used a razor blade and in doing so he inadvertently cut some of the headliner. It is a small inconspicuous amount, but I know it is there. I am afraid to bring it back there for further 'repair' because the damage may get worse. I doubt I will return that that location. read more

Had my windshield replaced and my ADAS recalibrated by them. Picked up up my vehicle and noticed the rear view mirror was now shaking while driving. They came out the following week to adjust the mirror. Technician noticed that the incorrect glue was used the first time around. He quickly got the mirror fixed which was great. I went out for dinner and noticed that now my ADAS is not working as designed. My lane departure system is now beeping at me constantly telling me I'm veering left even though I am centered. I now have to set up a third appointment to have this checked out. Update. I called Saturday morning and they set me up for an appointment to have it calibrated. They asked if I was available tomorrow at 9am. I was. I am now sitting in the parking lot only to find out they are closed on Sundays. I called and they said they had me schedule for Monday at 9am. I am not a available during the week at 9am. If she had said 9am Monday, I would not have booked the appointment. read more

I had my windshield installed on my leased Honda fit today by Matt. He was very polite and professional. It turned out perfect. All Star was a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately because I have a lease I had to purchase a Honda windshield replacement so it was costly. I ended up claiming it on my insurance and the rep from San Diego did the claim for me over the phone with mercury. The whole experience was very professional and they contacted me periodically to give me updates and the status of the order and to schedule the install at my home on a Saturday. They were also willing to do it my workplace. I will use them again if there ever a need (but hopefully not). read more

Second great experience with these guys. This time had to replace the windshield on a new pilot. They had to order from Honda due to all the electronics and sensors, which need to be recalibrated after the replacement. Instead of having a dealer do it afterwards we brought the car to All Star and they did it all at once. Finished on time and everything is perfect. Works great with AAA insurance. read more

I think this review is more than appropriate for the professionalism and the excellent communication from the folks there at All Star Glass. I called to have a windshield put in my 1990 Toyota 4 x 4 pick up. They came highly recommended by some close friends as well as my own insurance agent. I could have gotten a cheaper estimate but then again I would've got substandard Chinese manufactured material as well as not the level of courtesy I received from the folks at all-star glass. They used a top-quality PPW replacement windshield as well as higher grade installation materials. I did all of the preliminary work myself which saved them a little bit of time but I did not mind because that is what I do anyway. I called on a Wednesday and they were here Thursday morning at 8 o'clock sharp. Luis, the installer, made it a point to contact me to let me know when he was on his way as well as to when he arrived at my destination. He worked promptly and efficiently. There was, however, an issue with the upper molding that they replaced as it was a little too wavy for my liking. I phoned the call center on Friday and they said they would dispatch someone here Monday morning to replace the defective part as they also reiterated that customer satisfaction was a top priority. The installer, Matt, was here promptly at 10 AM to replace the bad part. When he was all done the truck looked like a brand new one!
