The sushi was the only issues. It has the potential of being very good. I just think the rice was not completely fresh so it distracted from the overall taste of the rolls. The rice was kind of al dente or mildly dehydrated if you know what I mean. But otherwise like I said the sushi would have been very good indeed. The only thing that I think really needs improvement, keeping the rice fresh, was the eel. It was not good. I don't know what they can do to make it better. Maybe get a different kind or cook it better I don't know but that eel was not good. Oh I almost forgot that my son also ordered a teriyaki chicken which he couldn't finish because the chicken was very dry and overcooked. This was the first time I can remember him not finishing his chicken because he didn't like it. Another thing for them to work on I guess. Overall our visit was a good one. The atmosphere was nice. They didn't blast the music as some restaurants are want to do. The place was relatively clean, though I can't say the same about their bathrooms. The bathrooms were not very well maintained. Would I go back? Yes I would. I would like to see if the rice and chicken thing was a fluke. Would I recommend this place? I think I would because despite some of the issues it was pleasant overall experience.

We did not experience the issue with the payments like the person did in one of the reviews here. If you are concerned about that, pay in pesos or double check your bank right after they swipe your card.

It went well with the pickled onions and the guacamole that was served with the dish. 2. Ribeye - Again, excellent presentation befitting of fine dining. This was a huge portion, but well seasoned and not dry. We opted for the 500g (larger) size upon recommendation of our waiter, but probably could have gone for the smaller size. We arrived at the location (tucked away) off the main road. Like a lot of the good things in Valle I suppose. We soon realized we were the only two dining with the chef this night.
