But even better than being a great massage therapist, Bonnie is incredibly knowledgeable about all things birth and pregnancy, which made her an amazing doula. I had the opportunity to work with Bonnie and her partner Karen for my second birth (they were not available for my first birth and I didn't have a doula then, and I ended up with an unplanned C-section) and I can't recommend them enough. I attempted a VBAC for my second birth, and it was an intense experience, but having Bonnie and Karen by my side made all the difference and perhaps the reason for my eventual success after being very close to having another failure to progress. They are very responsive, with you throughout the process, come visit your home to give lessons prior to your birth which also helps with preparing your home for the experience, come to your home again when you're in active labor but do not want to go to the hospital too early. They provided encouragement, guidance, and they're especially knowledgeable about the different birthing positions throughout the entire process. I don't think all doulas are capable of providing such critical support. It was an entirely different experience from my first birth when there were so many wasted opportunities to do something to help with progress. If you're considering hiring a doula for your birth, I highly recommend Bonnie and Karen - they are simply amazing!

I had a prenatal massage with Bonnie, and I recommend that as a part of birth prep. Bonnie supported us through my pregnancy- answering questions, giving resources, and recommending tools and processes for a smooth birth experience. She came to our home for a Spinning Babies session which was so helpful to learn in our environment where we planned to do early labor. We had an online class with Karen, and she helped us prepare for life with an infant. This started conversations for us beyond birth, and it was wonderful to connect with Karen prior to our birth. We ended up working with Bonnie and Karen during labor, and they are a great team. We felt supported and cared for throughout.

Auburn is able to turn this dreaded experience into a fairly positive one. My NP is Arlene Pressman and she is absolutely wonderful. She follows up after every test and provides a level of service that I've never experienced elsewhere. Due to insurance issues, I needed to have a test done outside of the Mt. Auburn system. As expected with anything related to insurance, it was a very cumbersome ordeal and any other provider would have given up, but Arlene went above and beyond in coordinating the entire process. This is terrible for continuity of care. I should be able to see my doctor. I didn't schedule an appointment. Our medical system is so broken in the U.S.

I started working with Kristin soon afterwards and her expertise and care was amazing and exactly what I needed. It was a lengthly process getting back to full health again and there were some ups-and-downs on my journey. Kristin helped me to keep my head-up in the times where I felt like I was moving backwards, and reminded me of the progress I had made already and was continuing to make! And she helped me to understand how to be more in-tune with my body so that I could proactively deal with any future pelvic floor issues before they get out of control. She helped me find an awesome nutritionist too. And she also helped me to find another Colorectal doctor since my first one was too "surgery-happy." Kristin went above and beyond and was absolutely amazing! Thank you Kristin and thank you Wellest!

I can't believe how much Kristine has helped me with my heath issues. I have been struggling with…read moreallergies, hypothyroidism and adrenal fatigue for years. I have seen every doctor and holistic healthcare practitioner under the sun--or so it seems. I have spent thousands on supplements and various therapies. But nothing really ever seemed to help. Then one day I heard Kristine on a local radio show and she said that what she does is help people figure out what their bodies need right now. For instance, acupuncture might help one person tremendously but might not be very helpful for me (right now) and my issue. Kristine went through all my supplements and narrowed down my daily regimen to the "greatest hits" for my body right now. What really was the most helpful, was how Kristine was able to determine that my mercury amalgam fillings was bringing my body down despite all the supplements, exercise and healthy food I was consuming/doing, etc. This was a big breakthrough. I am now painstakingly getting these fillings removed even thought it is time consuming and costly. But I think that I am on the right course of action. And now I won't be wasting my money on supplements and various therapies that were really not solving the problem. I could never have figured this out without Kristine's help. After each session, I always feel better and more energized. And it really helps that she is kind, thoughtful, really smart and light hearted. We always share some laughs during each session. She has several modalities but she always chooses the one that is right for my body at the given moment and the given challenge. I recommend her to all my friends, family and acquaintances when they are trying to figure out some better answers to their health issues. If you have been struggling with a health issue and don't seem to be getting the right answers and or help from your doctors or other health care practitioners, then you would really benefit from a session(s) with Kristine. I highly recommend it!

However, during my appointment and after listing all my symptoms and how gynecologists have told my I have suspected endometriosis, I was told by Kristine that I don't have that during muscle testing. I was shocked at such a bold statement ONLY because it went against the "I am not a doctor" statement I was told. I convinced myself this woman had a strong intuition until my chronic pelvic pain did not subside from the tinctures I was given. Which ... they weren't supposed to. It was only something western medicine could handle. Here I am two weeks post op with all endometriosis excised from my bladder and deep from my pelvis. So, Yes. I did have that. But the point of this review is that I was told I didn't have something..... when I absolutely did. It did not align with the " I am not a doctor" which I was told twice. If you are not a doctor, then how come I am being told I don't have something? Everything was very speedy and rushed... but I am assuming that is all because routine is the same for every person. Listen to symptoms, muscle test, and send home with 2-3 tinctures/ vitamins. Waiting for the western medicine and natural path world to align and become one instead of being so separate from each other!!! Hopefully one day. I see reviews that this practice is a scam, I think it is in some ways, but for some people (especially when their symptoms are mental, body is low in vitamins, contains parasites, etc. ) it could really help but it seems to be an expensive guessing game that is for sure.

Hilary helped me feel comfortable with the induction process and was in constant communication until she arrived at the hospital. Hilary helped us create the best possible environment for labor and delivery and worked seamlessly with the L&D nurse and my partner to support me. Our baby is medically complex and ventilator-dependent. From the moment he arrived, they made unauthorized changes to his trach and vent settings. We found him choking on secretions more than once while staff stood by. They inserted an incorrect feeding tube, gave medications unnecessarily, and failed to send proper documentation when transferring him back to Boston Children's. Even BCH staff were stunned by the state he returned in. This place didn't care. They didn't treat him like a human being. They made him worse. They lied, avoided accountability, and acted like we were the problem for asking questions. I wouldn't trust this place with a houseplant, never mind a child.
