They have a page on their website that says they can provide communication in required formats for people with disabilities, but none of their staff are aware that the law requires this. The webpage saying they provide accessible communication only has a phone number to contact them. It has one e-mail address, but that is for requesting interpreter services, not for general e-mail correspondence from people who need to contact the clinic via text. The website says to use the portal to schedule appointments for patients who are already registered, but the portal is set up so there is no way to request an appointment unless already seen recently by that department. The Patient Relations office has no idea that the ADA exists and told the person to find an abled person to make a voice call for them. The nurses in the departments don't understand what large print is and several of them have provided a legally blind multiply disabled person with handwritten illegible instructions, stating they don't know how where they would type and print instructions to give the person. Their solution was also "can't an abled person just redo it?"

I have never written a review before and held off on this one for a while but I realized with all…read morethe glowing praise it was my duty to offer my experience. I went to see Dr. Brown a while back as a second opinion, which I disclosed on our first visit, for a sinus issue I unfortunately still suffer from. At first he seemed kind and caring and wanting the best and asked me to keep calling back every few weeks to see how I was doing, which I did. Unfortunately in one of our follow up calls, when I told him I was still seeing my original doctor, he got angry at me and said he would no longer see me anymore, calling it "unethical." I was in shock! I'd never had a doctor speak to me this way. My health will always come before someone's ego. I'll see 50 doctors if that's what it takes. So if you're lucky enough to get the experience others have written about here that's great. Unfortunately Dr. Jekyll became Mr. Hyde to me so just be wary of what you're getting into.

I do not even know where to begin. I became a patient of Dr. Brown's by chance, after a series of…read moreunfortunate circumstances and a CT scan to check on a skin infection found a tumor in my parotid gland. My PCP referred me to Dr. Brown's practice following an MRI and the few weeks of uncertainty of what exactly this tumor was truly was a blur. The second Dr. Brown walked into the exam room I immediately felt comfortable and could sense his confidence in figuring out whatever was going on with me. He did just that and even was kind enough to consider my upcoming (now postponed because of COVID) wedding. He explained the tumor, where it was, the statistics of where it was and how that relates to complications and recovery. He thoroughly explained and was honest with me about the surgery and the high likelihood of temporary and some permanent side effects. He even told me to expect a few side effects he was fairly confident could or would happen. I was nervous, considering I didn't have an ailment needing to be fixed, rather we were doing this so I didn't need to deal with repercussions later. But I knew I was in good hands. Today, I am one week post op. I have not experienced pain. I have zero of the adverse effects that were expected. Well, I guess one but a numb ear is something I can live with and was the least of my concern. It was comforting to know Dr. Brown was just as happy with the outcome of this story for me as I am. Sure, some of it is "luck" as he put it but it's also skill and attention to detail. That meant so much to me. I also want to note that I'm 26 years old but have seen ENT doctors my entire life having been born premature, diagnosed with hearing loss at age 8, and having nothing but ear, nose and throat issues for years. I remember just about every doctor I've encountered and I thought my last physician was the best of the best. I honestly can say, and have told my family and friends, Dr. Brown is tied in my book as the best ENT I've ever had and I'd trust him again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Dr. Brown! Go celebrate this success because you very much deserve it.

Like most parents you are scared your child will go under general anesthesia, will the tubes even work, will it make things better for my child, etc. Luckily we had a positive experience. My child had 9 ear infections in her first year of life. Poor Kid. We saw Dr. Grilli, and after examination he recommended tubes. We then spent a morning at Mass Eye and Ear in the city for the surgery. They certainly cater to children in the facility we were in. They had a nurse in the waiting room, to help make sure your child was adjusting. I was allowed to stay with the baby until the actual surgery itself, and the post operation nurses were great. Even though they deal with this everyday they still understood how hard it is to be a parent of a child in surgery. We took the baby home and by 12 noon she was totally FINE. Very little effects from the anesthesia at all. We did go back to Dr. Grilli for custom made ear plugs a few months later. I can't remember the name of the doctor who made them for us, but she was great with the baby. We had the custom made ear plugs done in less than an hour and ready to use. In her second d year of life she only had 2 ear infections-tubes worked!
