Terrible service. As a harvard employee, I am ashamed of the hospital, which shows no empathy for the patients.

My 6 year old daughter needed her tonsils and adenoids taken and we immediately knew we were going with MEEI!

It is a privilege to write about Dr. Sang and her team. Not only is Dr. Sang an elite and amazing…read moredoctor, but she shows compassion and really cares. Sometimes, that makes you feel better and is more needed than the treatments! At a time when I feared losing my vision due to macular degeneration, she was reassuring and supportive , and always answers my never ending list of questions, and with patience. Another side of Dr. Sang that I recently learned about is her mentorship. There are a group of young college grads working there who are taking a gap year and preparing to get into medical school. She is so giving and proud of how many of these interns have gone on to great careers. Each time you go for an appointment, it's a "major production." There are so many steps in the process and I have come to understand why it takes so long -- they take no shortcuts! There is a huge staff that supports Dr. Sang and each one has a specialty, from the people who answer the phone and make appts. to the people who do complicated eye scans. I don't envy the appt. people as everyone seems to want a different time -- including me -- and it's hard to make everyone happy, although they try. I guess my only complaint is that I wish I could turn back Dr. Sang's clock about 25 years so that she'd be in practice for another 25+ years. While she is around, I feel incredibly lucky for her to be my doctor!

Dr. Sang saw me for a retinal tear more than 15 yrs ago. She saw me before her next patient,…read moredescribed the diagnosis, and asked if I could stay for a laser procedure at 6:15 PM- after hrs. She is precise, empathic, and I have known her professional for many years and she is a dear and special friend who has mentored hundreds of students who needed experience as scribes, technical knowledge that only she could describe with drawings, and precise explanations. They planned to apply to medical or optometric colleges in the future. She once noted that my optic nerves were probably normal but needed a glaucoma specialist to follow me, so I have seen a glaucoma specialist alternating with her every 6 months and they correspond across the miles with assessment and management notes after each visit. Her Staff includes Monica at the front desk who is helpful and gentle with hearing and vision-impaired patients. It doesn't get better than that. She is delightful! Dr. Delia Sang should get EVERY AWARD for distinction in medical knowledge, empathy, compassion at those difficult moments for patients and their families, wisdom beyond belief and friend to all she meets. I am so lucky. TEN STARS ARE NOT ENOUGH!

Cataract Surgery with laser and light adjustable lenses. Very easy to make appointments. 7 visits…read more Almost no waiting room time. Smart competent staff. And doctor Kaufman is fantastic. I was very fussy to get the best results, so I did a lot of small adjustments but the results were excellent.

He explained the issue thoroughly, answered all my questions, and was overall very friendly and patient. No complaints. On my follow-up, though, I waited for an hour and a half to see him for less than five minutes for him to check my eye and give the all-clear. Fast forward to a year later, when I was truly apprehensive about another long wait time in the middle of a work day. This time, for an annual eye exam, I was in and out for about an hour, which wasn't too bad. The technician I saw before Dr. Kaufman was great - I wish I got his name. He was painstaking in making sure my prescription was right and going over what he was doing. Excellent bedside manner. So, all in all, I think this office has made improvements in reducing patient wait time. That said, one suggestion I have is to validate parking for patients. This is one of the few doctor's offices I've been to where they don't offer this and it bothers me - patients can wait up to an hour and the parking ticket (which isn't a flat rate) is one extra cost on top of the bill. The parking situation next to the office is also stressful. During peak times, the lot right next door is full or reserved for residents and you have to scramble to find another spot in the garage across the street.

He is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had…read more 1. Knowledge: beyond that of any doctor I have ever seen. He not only knew more than anyone else I had seen, but he also could recognize what he didn't know, and he found out on his own and got back to me. I literally had five different diagnosis from five different doctors. My illness was confusing, and he was the only one to correctly predict what I was going to experience as time went on, and how to deal with (and cure) what I had despite the lack of tests to verifiably diagnose me. He noticed within moments what no other doctor had the insight to detect. 2. Bedside manner: fantastic. I was extremely comfortable. I felt taken care of and respected. He didn't ever oversimplify or dumb down his diagnosis. He was clear, honest, and helpful in describing what he saw honestly and completely and without unnecessary lingo. He made everything extremely easy on me (He partly filled out forms for me so I didn't have to figure it out and he mailed them to me at my apartment (name, type of care etc). It was incredible how caring and how important it was to me!) They really made a great effort to make you comfortable, and give you mental ease while you're sick. 3. Wait time: Above and beyond. I always came in in the morning if I had an appointment, but there were times when I was sick with a fever and just called in hoping to see someone sometime that day. They always got me in right away with maybe a 10 minute wait! It was fantastic. I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Goldstein! I am super hard to please and kinda critical in general, but that is especially true when I'm sick. Dr. Goldstein was fantastic. I never had to worry about anything from billing to accurate information to staff remembering my history, to paperwork, to general caring atmosphere, and most of all I had confidence finally that he knew his stuff, and I was going to get well after quite a lot of searching!! My highest recommendation goes to him!

I could not agree more that Dr. Goldstein definitely has quite the personality ~ or maybe that is…read morejust with the ladies?? Funny, as I am a married gentile woman in my 40s, I never entertained the thought of an older Jewish man....... But he is quite funny and rather charming, especially when the chaos of the day finally calms down in his office. He looks you right in the eye when he speaks to you and he notices little things that either other people don't observe or don't take the time to mention. Now on to the review: The first time I went to his office I waited for hours, as they were so far behind schedule and my appointment was still mid morning. He did take the time to send me for the tests I necessary; nevertheless, he was unable to diagnose what my particular problem was. He was actually baffled. As the other Yelper indicated, he did not issue and Rx unnecessarily, which is always appreciated and he okayed my to fly. He scheduled a follow-up appointment and sent me for repeat tests, same results and still no idea of what the problem with me ears is. "We", and I say we, because I have been looking for answers as well, have looked into drug interactions and other factors and have been unable to come up with anything. Yet, the problem persists. I have my third appointment coming up soon. If he does not find a solution to my ongoing ear problem (this has been 10 months) ~ I am going to break up with him.....
