Came to gravity hill for the first time tonight and will definitely be back. The attention to detail was unlike any other haunted attraction that I've ever been to. The scenery was amazing, the asylum set up, the movie theater, the meat locker, everything was a perfect 10!! The staff were perfectly in character & their makeup was done very well also. Can't wait to tell more friends about this attraction!

We saw many younger children that also spent time at the small baby lambs and goats petting zoo. This was a nice added touch. The DJ was also great that played upbeat music. The food was reasonable and a good mix of favorites. Funnel cake, fried Oreos, chili, chili cheese fries, street corn, empanadas and street tacos to just name a few.... Truly a night of good times... Check it out for yourself... get there early for the best parking.

So I took a trip down to the Field of Terror... located in the middle of nowhere in East Windsor, NJ. There isn't an actual parking lot- you're going to have to park your car in the middle of a field, but there are parking attendants to guide you. And yes, it's free! Luckily the lot is right near the farm so don't worry about walking too far. You can purchase your tickets online or once you get there. I came on a Thursday night 10/24 and there were no lines at all. There's a couple of ticket options depending on how many haunted attractions you want to do. There are 5 in total: Haunted Hayride, Kornfield Maze, Karnival, Timmery Manor, Paintball Wagon Ride. One attraction = $20 Two attractions = $35 Three attractions = $45 Four attractions = $50 Five attractions = $65 We didn't have much time so we only did one attraction, the Haunted Hayride. There was no wait at all, so we were able to get on right away. The entire attraction lasted about 15 minutes. I don't want to spoil anything.... but it was enjoyable. However, coming from someone who is the biggest scaredy cat, I wasn't SUPER spooked... so see for yourself. The farm itself is small and easy to navigate. All of the attractions are close to one another. There were actors walking around and I definitely got a couple of jump scares LOL. They have food stands available at very reasonable prices (mostly carnival/fair-themed food like burgers, fries, funnel cake, hot dogs). Plenty of seating to enjoy your food. There's a merchandise store with cute apparel and goodies. They also have a farmer's market selling some of their produce. Since I only did one haunted attraction, take this review with a grain of salt. Was it worth $20? Ehhhh, not really. But give it a try if you're in the area and see for yourself. Get spooky.

Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed to walk through a completely decorated haunted house and be spooked by the different spaces including a vampire's lair, glow room, Nightmare Before Christmas display, graveyard movie theatre, and so much more! There are chances to interact with props and be part of the eeriness. It takes less than an hour to walk through and there are so many awesome photo opportunities for lasting memories. You can stay inside as long as you want and revisit rooms over and over again. The staff is awesome and are always offering to take group photos. Halloween House prides itself on not being scary, just spooky, so it is good for all ages and is unique for the whole family. There are some creepy things to see, but there are no characters popping out and no surprises. It is all indoors at a storefront inside the Freehold Raceway Mall. We recommend parking near LL Bean/Primark and enter the mall where the main entrance by Jared and Cheesecake Factory is. Walk to the left and go down the escalator and the Halloween House is right there. Typically the mall only allows dogs in carriages, but for this event, as long as your dog is on a leash, that is fine to go to the Halloween House. The attraction is dark, loud, and can get crowded, so make sure your dog can handle it. We recommend going on a weekday and they are open 7 days a week through November 3rd and tickets can be purchased online at https://halloweenhousefreehold.com/. Dogs are free to enter! Brie and Louie Blu were great and well behaved and we cannot wait for their Christmas attraction coming soon.

Hello Darlings! Your…read moreHost is back. It's time to get those creative literary juices flowing once more and peck out a trip review of Six Flags Great Adventure. My last trip review of SFGADV was in October, 2018, well before the Cedar Fair / Six Flags merge in 2024. For this here review, we'll cover the attractions we experienced on Sunday, July 19, 2026 and our thoughts concerning the visit on the whole. So, let's get down to the business at hand, shall we? The first thing, darlings, is to be aware that cash is *not* king here. In fact, the park is completely cashless. Please make certain you have some form of a cash alternative with you when visiting here. Examples: debit/credit cards, Apple/Google Pay, sugar daddies with these alternatives, etc. Since my bud Ron and I have memberships, we get four free FAST Lanes for each and every visit (don't be jealous!), so waiting long periods of time for rides wasn't a factor for this visit...we skipped four long lines and did four rides, which kept any wait to an absolute minimum. If you're a parkie and plan to do several visits, a membership may be worth its weight in gold, so to speak. And while you're at it, spring for the meal plan and get a beverage cup. Food is not inexpensive so you might want to consider this, especially if you don't want to leave the park and trek over to the nearby Wawa or McD's. A note about the drink cup: it is cheaply made yet it must last you the entire season. DO NOT put it in a dishwasher. DO NOT leave it in a hot car. It will melt like the Wicked Witch of the West and you will be shocked when you find out how much $$ you'll have to shell out (cashless, of course) a pretty cashless penny to replace it. They won't ever give you a freebie...no such thing as a free lunch, especially at Six Flags, so treat the cup as you would your first born. Here are the rides we experienced on this trip and how Your Host rates them: 1. FLASH: Vertical Velocity (B-). It opened last season but this was our first ride on it. Overall, it's exciting and a bit disorienting. The hang time is really cool, but that's about it. I found it sort of meh-ish despite the other stuff, but if we had to wait on that long line, we would've been unhappy, to say the least. Fortunately, we had Fast Lane, so we went directly to the front of the line, which ameliorated any dissatisfaction with the experience overall. 2. Barrels of Fun (F). Content creators gave this some pretty positive accolades so i looked forward to this one. But darlings, this ride is a banger and quite violent. This is a spinning Wild Mouse that was relocated from SF America and had been completely restored. It's pretty, I'll admit, but looks only get you so far. Things start out okay at first but descend into the depths of Hell as the ride progresses. Once the car starts spinning right round baby like a record baby do things become like going a few rounds with Mike Tyson. It's NOT a fun ride (unless you're seriously into PAIN). Rename this ride to "Barrels of Agony' or "Barrels of Torture"...not "Barrels of Fun". 3. Saw Mill Log Flume (B). For a flume, it's pretty darn good and we got soaked...so go in with that expectation. The park did a great job restoring the ride and like Barrels, it's pretty. It's not silky smooth but fun overall. Ideal in hot weather...ideally. 4. Medusa (B+). Your standard B&M floorless looper. Fun and exciting and a recommended stop here. DINING: Best of the West (A-). For park fare, it's pretty darn good. Both of us had pulled pork sandwiches, which come with tater tots, corn bread (they really want to carb one up!) and Cole slaw. Since I'm not an avid fan of the tot, they went largely untouched. The sandwich wasn't the easiest thing to eat so it's was a fork in' experience, but that's okay. Recommended. Overall a nice way to spend a few hours and a nice time. The park looks clean and fresh, and the owners are making great progress in beautifying it. Yes, definitely come visit and get back to me... Since I have a season pass, getting into the park is always quick and smooth. I usually go with my 3-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loves the kids sections. The lines are never too long, which makes the whole experience great for her! Face painting is about $30 which is a bit pricey but that's what is expected at a park like this. Overall, it's always a great time.

However for what I did see, Bane knocked it out of the water. The actors were top notch and really played up their characters. The environment was crazy immersive and scary. We watched the Mercy TV count rise as we stood in line and it totally freaked us all out. Once inside, we can hear people screaming from the rooms next to us and it was a cool feeling all around. I'm suped to come back next year and check out Bane with full lighting and I'm excited about their events to come. Oh and yes, people actually get to the front door and yell Mercy, two of my friends chickened out before they even opened the door for us to go in! Good scary job Bane!

We purchased our tickets online in advance, and got to the site pretty easily. We got on line and read the posted rules before walking into the attraction. The attraction itself is pretty creative, with a few things I haven't seen in other haunted houses. But the quitter counter, which displayed the number of guests who quit in fear, made it seem scarier than it actually was. It was honestly a bit too dark in there to see the costumes/makeup of the actors. The majority of the scares were jump scares.
