Sure, the studio is gorgeous and peaceful and spacious. Sure the yoga is legit and high quality. But what separates this studio isn't the high credibility or reliability. What separates Grateful Yogini is the transparent intimacy that is sincere and genuine which naturally come through in the teaching practice. My buddies and I attended the mediation class on Thursday night. The normal instructor was ill so we were fortunate enough to have the owner, Gretchen, run our class. The google maps location wasn't exactly accurate but we found the studio located in the complex with the sign PHHacility sign on the side of the building. Despite the studio being located next to a basketball facility, it was easy to fall deep into meditation with the white noise and calming music taking up the background. Gretchen was connecting and attentive when she instructed throughout the class and the studio had all the gear needed to facilitate a complete experience. I'm certainly coming back. The first time client drop in class rate was only $7. I will be buying the five classes package for $40 and bringing more friends. I give Grateful Yogini the highest recommendation.

If anyone needs a reset or just want to boost their energy and focus I would highly recommend this class.

Their ability to make others feel comfortable with being vulnerable is truly remarkable. Whether it's your first time doing breathwork or you are experienced, Cory and Jessica do a phenomenal job of holding space for you to feel your feelings and most importantly, heal. Their guidance allowed us to fully show up for ourselves and release emotions that were no longer serving us. After our session, we all felt some level of lightness and freedom, both emotionally and in our physical bodies. Their guidance allowed our community to connect on a deeper level, bringing us closer together. It was such a transformative evening and the Almost 30 Podcast San Diego community is so grateful to have experienced it with the Healing Couple. -Hannah M., Ambassador, Almost 30 San Diego

I can't say enough amazing things about them. You feel how much they put into each and every breathwork session they lead. They are so passionate and you feel their passionate healing energy in their sessions. You feel safe to express yourself and heal with them which is so important when you enter into this kind of work. They really care and put everything into it. They walk the walk and show up 100% real so you can do the same. Breathwork has really changed my life. It's so powerful and you get so much clarity and heal parts of yourself without having to even talk about it really. Our bodies hold onto so much that we arent even aware of. I highly highly highly recommend everyone check them out bc if you don't you're missing out.

I've never taken yoga from a Studio before, only from the gym and videos... Ambience was so soothing! Dimly lit, perfect temperature, nice mix of instrumental, Christmas, and worship music. This class was a 10:30-11:30am class and there were 8 of us including the instructor. We started out by laying down and breathing. Then she came around and put essential oil on our foreheads and in our hands and had us just keep breathing in. Next she came around and put over each one of us a blanket to keep us warm while we stretched until we started the workout. We then went through the whole workout (which I did hear one the girls later say that it was a pretty intense workout compared to the usual intensity of that particular class) After, when we were cooling back down again, she came and covered us all back up with the blanket and spritzed another essential oil spray into the air around each one of us. We were told to take our time getting up and readying our selves for the rest of the day. Some of the other nice things they have is a yoga mat, hand weights, bolster for under your knees, blankets to use for pillows... I see they also teach Zumba classes! It was so relaxing, centering and calming to my soul... I can't wait to go again!
