Update: Christi teaches the Yin on Sundays at 5:30pm, absolutely love her classes, I get a good stretch and it's super relaxing. Meghan is great too, very kind, welcoming and a good class. The studio has opened up more space recently and more variety of classes. I took the warm yoga flow w/ Mikala. Great pace while flowing through the poses and temperature was just right. There's an ice plunge area which I plan to check out sometime too. I believe it's $15 per plunge. read more

It's been a longgggg time since I've done Hot Yoga ‍ 80 minutes at @yogaspotaz with Brooke. I feel dead and so alive at the same time. Walking in it was a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. My first time to this yoga studio. It was recommended by a fellow Yelper Maria and we did the class together with yet another fellow Yelper Alejandra. Lobby area with sign in desk, and cubbies to put your stuff. Also retail for yoga mats, towels, water bottles, apparel. There are lockers in the locker/restroom as well. If I remember correctly there were 3 shower stalls as well. The class was full, so if you do want to take a class I recommend reserving a spot ahead of time. They do have a first timer 2-week pass for $39 (I think), and if you sign up at the end of that period it's 20% off membership. The class was super challenging for me, and definitely stretched outside of my comfort zone (no pun intended), but a really good place to explore yoga practice. All levels were in the class. read more

I'm not someone to usually complain and give a "bad review". But I have to share my experience in hope that Autumn for your sake you don't make this mistake again! My 1st class, I was introduced very nicely by Autumn and I did inform her in advanced that I might have to leave the class early due to "a stressful situation" I put my phone in the locker and enjoyed the class. 30 mins into the class my Apple Watch notified me of very serious information I needed to know, I had to reply in a quick fashion! Otherwise I wouldn't have responded! I didn't make any noise or disturb anyone! Autumn approached me, with extremely poor customer service, NO empathy or understanding at all, with me, even when I informed her before! As a customer who thought this would be a safe environment, especially as I really wanted to connect to my body and spirit during a tough time. I left the class straight away from this interaction and I felt very anxious, sad and a little bit angry! Having been in the fitness industry for 10 years, I was very surprised and shocked by this matter, that her priority was really about herself and not the customers. Mistakes are for us to grow! Love yoga spot - teachers are amazing. Classes are offered many different times for all different levels

I have been going to the YogaSpot for two months. This yoga studio is the most challenging exercise of my week. I always think it would get easier since I have been going for a while. That's not the case! I get challenged every time I step into the studio. I have taken classes from different instructors, and they have all been wonderful. I love going to Natasha's class because she is great at guiding the class, and her music selection is right up my lane. The yoga studio is always clean. They have merchandise to purchase in store. They also offer mat and towel rentals. Their class fill up really fast. I usually have the 80 min hot yoga class, and I feel like I need to lay down all day. It can be tough for brand new yogis, but as long as they stick to it, it gets easier. read more

A "shout out" and "Kudos" to the crew at #YogaSpot in Gilbert. Desperate for some HOT yoga I've been SO MISSING (like a "junkie") during the months of the Covid-19 scare of 2020, I literally drove from North Peoria to Gilbert, low on gas and burning fumes, to catch the 12:00pm class at YogaSpot on Sunday, May 17th. (This was the only, Hot Yoga class open to the public after Governor Ducey lifted quarantine.) Due to the new, Covid-19, health regulations of "Social Distancing", I was queued on a waitlist for a spot in the class. When my spot was available, I was contacted immediately in the morning by YogaSpot staff to confirm. (Like an upscale restaurant reservation.) Once I arrived for class at 11:30am, I was greeted nicely by staff, efficiently "checked in", and my yoga spot (excuse the pun) was waiting, sectioned off with blue tape indicating the corners for my mat placement. (Fully observing "Social Distancing" protocols.) I literally had squint my 51 year old, near sighted eyes to clearly see the person next to me. The room was nice and hot as recommended by health experts. (The way I like my Hot yoga and NOT "lukewarm".) Additionally, during a great yoga session with a knowledgeable instructor, she would frequently (more often than usual) open up the doors to ventilate the room with fresh air which I found reassuring with all the drama noted in the news. Overall, and after dealing with Covid-19 that literally scared the nation into hiding, I serious felt "safe" from any healthy worries at all of doing Hot yoga at YogaSpot. Bravo ! Thank you for immediately opening up your studio to your patrons again, observing ALL health precautions, to bring things back to "normal" like before March 2020. I felt "human" once again instead of like my grouchy Pomeranian, hiding under the bed, and barking at the sound of firecrackers. Namaste read more

I did their 2 week special for 2 weeks. I only ended up going twice. The flow wasn't bad , kinda choppy and the instructors don't have set playlist. The instructors constantly change the music mid flow which makes the whole flow feel even choppier. Its not the worst studio but it feels lazy when instructors cant even make a playlist for class that goes with the sequence. read more

I feel like YogaSpot has given me back a part of my soul. I practiced yoga most of my adult life, but 4 years ago I had to stop due to a high risk pregnancy and then experienced serious complications during the birth of my child. For so long, I felt like my body was broken and weak. In January I saw an ad for a new student package and I bought it hoping that coming back to yoga would help me feel better. It's been so much more than that. With each class I feel like a little bit of my birth trauma and the resentment towards my body chip away. I feel strong again. I feel gratitude towards my body again. It's been a wonderful experience so far and I look forward to each class. I am so thankful I saw that ad and came back to my practice after years away. There's a great vibe at this studio, and if you're new to hot yoga or want to try, then this is your spot in Gilbert. I always like to go to several classes before I commit, so contact studio about intro prices. After about five to six different classes/instructors you'll know if it's for you; just stick with it at first! There's plenty of parking and the studio is located toward the back of the strip mall. The bathroom is always clean and maintained and there are several showers for use. Front desk is SUPER helpful. They sell a variety of yoga gear - keep this in mind next time you need supplies...support local! The teachers - there's a variety of teachers and their styles are similar, yet unique. If you go for a bit, you'll get used to the ones who align most with your needs. Also, the one tip that for the apprehensive - NO ONE Is looking at you or even paying attention. So just try it! Also, you'll SWEAT a lot, so you'll need a towel and a map and probably another towel for afterward unless you change. Namaste! read more

Meghan's Sunday night yin is like nothing else you can get in the valley. The oils, the hands on adjustments, her gentle calming voice, exceptional playlist, and the candlelit ambience...it's a full mind, body, spirit yoga class. I took my very first hot yoga class ever with Lisa Marie this morning!!! I was super nervous because I hate being hot and most of the workouts I do are all fast paced or running! But I had some strains from running & decided to give yoga a shot! Lisa was incredible and showed me some amazing stretches for my current pains and strains! I love the instructors. They have several different times for classes that makes it easy to get a workout in.

This is the 2nd yoga studio I have been to, but it's much better than the one I use to go to. Energy and vibe is very positive. The practice area is on wood floors, apposed to carpet at my old place. I would say its a different pace of your traditional bikram yoga. I really do feel like I had a hard workout after each session. The down side is that the men's shower/changing is small. There is only one shower and one toilet stall, so you have to wait in line for the mens. Being a rookie I had to look in the mirror and around to follow around for the poses. I do like the energy here and it's a great place to tryout. read more
