I've been going to this location for the last 3 years and have yet to find another studio with a better experience. Every instructor here brings something different to each practice with a unique type of energy. I never have a problem finding a class to fit my schedule and the remodel they did is amazing. Highly recommend this studio to anyone who practices, no matter what your level of experience is!! read more

This had been my home away from home though many different, difficult and joyful journeys over the past 8 years. I can't say enough about the management, staff and facility. I am always greeted with a smile and hugs, I have learned so much about Yoga, each day is a practice. I have made some wonderful friendships with fellow Yogis and have brought several friends who have joined. Most of all I have learned so much about my inner self. Thank you all. Namaste read more

If you like it hot, this is your spot for hot yoga! Doesn't even smell like a high school locker room. Clean friendly and some of the best in the business to lead you through your practice. Great place, great people, great results. I travel for work and often drop in at other studios and nothing feels quite like my home at YogaSpot! If you haven't been, you are missing out on the best hot yoga in the valley! But don't take my word for it! read more

Best studio I've been to by far! Great availability for classes, the staff is always super friendly and welcoming, studio is beautiful and clean. Tried a few other studios when I moved out here in August, YogaSpot definitely put them all to shame! read more

I first came here with a Groupon like many people. I only did two of the ten sessions I was allotted, but I found the classes to be fun and challenging. When it got too hot to run outside, I came back to Sumits for an even sweatier and butt-kicking workout. I lucked out and signed up during a sale advertised on their facebook page so I got 15% off my package. The studio is nice and large and is kept very clean by the staff. After seeing how much some people sweat, I know it isn't an easy task! The front desk personnel (often the instructors) are friendly and informative without rushing people. Two types of classes are offered: the 80 min standard class and the 1 hours flow class that often focuses on inversions. I really like the flow classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Since most of the Gilbert moms are busy dropping their kids off at school, the class is pretty small which allows for more personal attention. I've had Amanda as an instructor a couple of times, and she is contagiously positive! My only beef is the volume of the music at times. I really have a hard time hearing the instructors when they're blasting Top 40 at an ear-shattering volume. That's when I have to rely on my fellow classmates for cues. Lastly, a couple tips for other first timers lured in by the Groupon: 1. Bring a beach towel to put over your mat so you don't slip. You can also rent the nice thin towels at the studio 2. Wear tight, sweat-wicking clothing. I hate watching people attempting to tuck in their baggy t-shirts while going into downward dog. 3. Don't attempt these classes if you aren't already in good shape and working out regularly. It's very challening and requires lots of exertion. There are other more gentle forms of yoga out there. You need to build up to hot yoga. read more

I absolutely love this place! All the instructors are so kind, inclusive and knowledgeable. They have all really helped me to reach my yoga and fitness goals by answering any questions I have to help me better my practice. The yoga spots chill atmosphere and awesome people make you feel so welcome from day 1. I would highly recommend The Yoga Spot to anyone trying to improve their practice, improve mental/ physical health, make new friends or just feel good! read more

The best yoga studio. Caring instructors and a nice variety of classes. There is something for everyone. This is my happy place. Namaste.

I have been coming to this studio for many years and I enjoy the classes as much today as I did in the beginning. The sequence class is the most effective hot yoga class I have ever taken. The studio is clean and all the teachers have been wonderful. I love that they offer early morning classes, even on Saturdays. It is pricey, but I feel that it is pretty similar to comparable studios. After trying other studios, I always come back to SYG. read more

Things I love about this place - very clean and cute! - they have everything you need - mats, towels, toiletries, locks, drinks - the atmosphere - they have a lot of classes throughout the week at all times - they have excellent instructors working here - plenty of parking I do wish it was a little bit more affordable, but you definitely pay for what you get here. This is the best yoga studio I have ever seen. read more

This is a great place. The staff is warm, welcoming and very helpful. I've been going 4-5 times a week for almost three years. Good mix of men and women so I felt comfortable as a guy, comfortable as a retiree, comfortable as a newcomer to hot yoga! I did the introductory offer and never stopped. Love the music, love the clean, comfortable facility, love the way I feel when I walk out! read more

On a scale of 1-10 these classes and all the instructors are an ELEVEN! You can always count on the best Yoga in town or online.

This is my first experience practicing yoga in a studio setting and I'm so happy it was at Yoga Spot. The instructors are phenomenal and so welcoming and helpful. The studio is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. read more

I purchased a Groupon and only went twice. The studio & boutique were nice, however, I could not get over the stinky room. My thoughts went from getting a fabulous workout to get me out of here! I hate writing negative things, but this place could use a good cleaning/disinfecting. read more

They have the best instructors around. I love them all. I always get an amazing workout but it's more about the calm peaceful feeling I have that carries me through the day. read more

I have been going to this studio off and on for about 10 years. I recently decided to get back into yoga full swing and there is no other studio I would rather go to than this one. The instructors, the owner and the community are so inspiring. Yoga is a life practice and every time I go to a class I learn something new. If you are new to yoga or an advanced yogi, I highly recommend checking out this studio. read more

I love this place. I even met my husband here four years ago. :) The owners and teachers are all fabulous...super professional and knowledgable. Cute/clean studio. The 50 pass is a great deal and I love getting it at 20% off, and being able to split it with my spouse. Hot yoga has been so healing and calming for me, life-changing!! Love the new name, logo and renovated bathroom/showers too. read more

I just started doing hot yoga so I was feeling a little intimidated. The people at Sumits put me at ease instantly and made me feel welcome, like they wanted me to be there, which was super important to me because I wanted to start practicing yoga as a way to relax. Hot yoga here is intense enough to where you feel like you're really getting a workout, and I feel dead tired and awesome after every session. Highly recommend. read more

Work trainings had me in Mesa for a few weeks so I signed up for an intro pass at Summits. Great choice. The studio is clean and the instructor I had (same one each time, by coincidence) was very caring, clear, and helpful. I've been doing yoga for a while but it's good to visit other studios sometimes. She was able to help me understand a few things I'd been doing a little weird and could improve on. The 1:20 min hot class is mean, so if you want a challenge go for it. Its still absolutely for everyone, because if you get tired or struggle just take a break. That's how it works and nobody is gonna judge you. That was another thing I liked about the studio; It seemed to be a very non judgemental place. Some can be, ya know. read more

This is the BEST yoga studio I've been to! The teachers are so talented and skilled, and I always learn something new during each class. The environment is also very welcoming and free of judgement, as it is emphasized by the teachers that everyone is there to learn and grow in their personal practice. I highly recommend the yoga spot to anyone who is looking to have a fulfilling yet challenging experience. It is so worth it! read more

This place rocks!!! Hot hot hot instructor's are great!! My only two cents is not all instructor's hand out the cold towel at the end and in my experience all the other Summits yoga studios do give you the much deserved cold cloth might want to make it consistent much appreciated!! read more

YogaSpot is amazing! The classes and staff are wonderful. The studio is beautiful and calming. Everyone is so welcoming. I initially didn't think I would enjoy hot yoga but I absolutely do. Sumits Yoga Gilbert for me was love at first class. I can not speak highly enough about this studio and its staff. With amazing instructors like Justin, Kelly, Brooke, and Lisa Marie just to name a few- to help guide you through your own personal meditation in movement for everyone from beginners to seasoned yogis. I refer anyone and everyone who is looking to experience a truly transcending mind, body and soul experience to Sumits Yoga Gilbert. Even if you're in it just for a good workout, you'll find that when you leave you will have accomplished so much more. Thank you Sumits Yoga for having such a positive impact in my life. What a great place. I first used a Groupon to try it out and was very happy with the classes and the instructors. Everything about this studio is wonderful. My favorite part? They remember you - so you're not treated like a cheap person just because you bought a Groupon. They welcome you and you leave every single practice feeling like a million bucks. read more

Been coming here for years and absolutely love the studio and staff. Saw a recent post about the studio being smelly in January of '19. That was a one-time issue while they were in midst of a remodeling. Not indicative of the studio at all. Just unavoidable as plumbing was being reworked. Had to log in and correct that perception. Such a better workout then going to the gym. As a guy I appreciate not having guys with necks thicker then their heads calling me "brah." I say that tongue in cheek but it is really far more chill than the typical gym vibe. The occasional crowded class just says to me that they are doing a kickass job and won't be folding up their tent anytime soon. All you need is a place to put you mat and there is always room for that. One last thing, a lot of the instructors have a knack for putting together great playlists with unique selections. Keeps it interesting and fresh. read more
