No intent of reputation harm was intentioned, rather to fix their mistakes and terrible service before I posted for all to see. I genuinely do not understand the high ratings for this salon after my experience. I paid $75 before tip for a "spa pedicure" that lasted barely over 30 minutes, left my toenails uneven and misshapen, and resulted in my toe being cut and bleeding. Before the service even started, I specifically mentioned that my biggest concern was being cut. That exact thing still happened. The technician used cuticle scissors on my toenails, pulled at thin nails instead of properly trimming them, left scrub residue on my legs, and sent me out the door with nails that looked unfinished and uneven. Several nails were completely different lengths and shapes, including nails that were not damaged to begin with. What bothered me even more was the salon's response afterward. Instead of taking accountability for the quality of the service, they blamed the condition of my nails from previous gel use. I had already explained the condition of my nails before the service began and she assured me it was not an issue she deals with it all the time. If my nails were supposedly too damaged to safely or properly perform the pedicure, that should have been communicated upfront instead of taking my money and giving me a result that honestly looked worse than when I walked in. I also clarified that the pre-existing chip in one toenail was NOT what caused me to bleed. The cut happened separately during the service and on a completely different toe. At this price point, I expected professionalism, attention to detail, and basic care. Instead, I left with uneven nails, a cut toe, and an email response that felt more focused on defending the service than resolving the issue. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this salon for nail services to think twice. There are too many salons charging premium prices to risk walking out with results like this.

We've visited Ruby Nails multiple times over the years, but after another enjoyable experience, it…read morefelt like time to finally leave a review. This visit was a summer Monday morning outing with my sister-in-law, daughter, husband, and me. We stopped in without an appointment and were seated in less than five minutes. We've also visited on busier Saturdays with appointments and have had good experiences then as well. While our feet soaked, we were offered water, wine, or soda. It's a small touch, but one that always makes the experience feel a little more welcoming and relaxing. All four of us chose the Deluxe Pedicure ($36), which is only $6 more than the Classic ($30). The Deluxe includes a drink, an exfoliating scrub, lotion, and hot towel wrap. They also offer additional upgraded pedicures with extras like hot stones, but the Deluxe feels like a great value and is usually our choice. My technician was attentive and professional. I especially appreciated that he asked permission before using the callus remover rather than just assuming. He was friendly without being overly chatty, which was perfect because part of the reason for this outing was spending time catching up with family. The salon appeared clean and well maintained. They use disposable liners in the pedicure tubs, and overall it felt cleaner than many nail salons we've visited. One fun detail from the day: my husband picked his polish color first, and I ended up liking it enough to choose the same one. I wasn't expecting to leave with matching toes, but here we are! The only minor issue was that my polish application wasn't quite as smooth as I would have liked. It isn't noticeable unless I'm looking closely, but it did seem a bit thicker than ideal. The polish on the other members of our group looked perfectly smooth, so it may have simply been an isolated occurrence and I think the issue was the polish and not the nail tech. For three Deluxe pedicures, our total was $108 before tip. We never felt rushed, the services matched what was advertised on the menu, and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Consistently good service, short wait times, a clean environment, and a relaxing experience keep us coming back. We'll definitely return.
