Best nail salon in St. Augustine. John is so thorough and talented. I recommend to anyone in the area. John does gel acrylic and I get compliments everywhere I go. They are natural and lightweight. The rest of the staff are very friendly and talented.

Went in there to get a acrylic nails. The place is really clean. The people that work there are beyond sweet and nice. They recommended some colors since there are some many options. They did a fantastic job. My nails look so pretty. Definitely will go back.

Had a lovely experience at Nails so Happy with my little cousin. They went above and beyond to make us both happy and all the nail technicians were super friendly and talented. I loved my very natural short oval SNS manicure and my cousin originally got blue but then wanted sparkley pink like me and her nail tech was so kind to do a quick polish change and add a cute flower design with sparkles. The massage chairs were very comfy and the pedicures were great including callous removal, a masque and scrub with a lovely massage. We had a great afternoon at this nail salon and I'd recommend it for kids too because they were so great with her and have a discounted kids mani/pedi combo. We both left very happy!

My tech (Louie) did a fantastic job. I am pretty fussy about my acrylic and he listened and did my nails exactly as I requested. Nail polish was very neat. My nails look very natural. Only one small complaint... I made an appointment but still had to wait approximately a half an hour. To their defense it was a Saturday and they were running behind with a lot of pedicures I will return during my stay in Florida read more

I walked in yesterday and was able to get in a chair right away for mani/pedi....dip powder nails. Sweet guy Ryan (Ho) did my nails and was fun to chat with. He did an excellent job as I had gel polish that was barely on from a month ago along with jagged nails from doing yard work and cleaning. Wish I had before pic but he made my nails look amazing. His wife did my pedicure and also did a great job and has a sweet positive personality. Very happy with my visit and will be back. read more

I am a bride who tried to make an appointment for me and 2 bridesmaids for 3 days before my wedding. I called 6 times on the weeks leading up to my wedding hoping to book us nail appointments. They never picked up the phone once and don't have a website so I had to go in for a walk in. To keep a long story short, it took them over 4 hours to do my nails/toes. They were incredibly unprofessional and had me sitting around for over while their techs sat on the couches on their phones. I am not from around here and was in town as I said for my wedding but I do not recommend this place which is disappointing. I just can't justify the lack of care their employees had for their customers. The nails were fine, I will not speak poorly of their work but the service was a mess. UPDATE: I'm on my honeymoon and it's only been 5 days and I've lost 2 nails and the rest are falling off. I CAN speak to their work and it's not good. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE. I used to not like coming here bc they were friendly and I always felt like an inconvenience but they went under new ownership with all new staff! They are so sweet, friendly, happy to help, family run business. I get my nail dip manis here and also slight therapy bc they just listen to me talk about my life for an hour (lol!) i don't even live on the island anymore and I still drive here to see my favorite people! Never been here before this was our first time, we were kind of trying to find somewhere close. We get there and the lady is doing my toes and when she puts my feet in the water it's ice cold. I know she knew it too because she felt it when she dipped her hand in it multiple times. I'm not one to speak up so that part is on me. Another thing is she was very rough on me and seemed to rush the whole pedicure. I've never been to a salon where I felt as if they were trying to hurry the whole pedicure. Not saying I don't recommend but I didn't enjoy my experience. read more

Don't bother going here unless you like being treating rudely. The gal had such a bad attitude, it was ridiculous. And, they are hugely overpriced. If your nails are a little long, they complain about it and they charge extra to cut them. What?!?! I wouldn't give this place another dime of my hard earned money. A lot of other choices around. Steer Clear! Should change their name to Nails so Crappy! read more

Let me begin by saying I have been going to this salon every month for about a year, and I am nothing short of amazed by Len's work. My nails are beautiful every time I see her. I used to have an amazing experience with very friendly service. Everything changed when the shop went under new management. The new owner/manager, Steven, was incredibly rude to me. I left feeling scolded and degraded. I should also mention that the new management is choosing to use cheaper products, while maintaining the same prices for services. My nails are happy, but I am not. read more

I told her what colors I wanted and she came up with some beautiful nails. I couldn't be happier. Will definitely make this my place to go for my nails. Super satisfied with her work. So I really really wanted to give this place a chance. I'm all for small business. The last time I was there I got a pretty decent pedicure I gave a $15 tip on a $25 pedicure. I was charged $25 because they were in a hurry to close and the wife rushed through it but still did a good job. This time the mother or mother-in-law did my pedicure. She did not want to acknowledge me in any way. I don't think she wanted to be there she seemed upset. At the end of the pedicure when she was painting my nails she started to get upset and had daughter-in-law turn off my chair and was still upset.....I guess she thought I was moving my toes too much. I might've unknowingly wiggled them a little bit. The pedicure was not as good as it was the first time.....and remember the wife rushed the first one. The price was $30 tip was $5. I don't know about the rest of you but when I go to get a pedicure I want to be pampered and relax and maybe be treated like a welcomed patron. I wish them the best but I won't be going back there... which is unfortunate I was really looking for a permanent nail salon..... I will just keep looking. read more

We are in a weird place right now as a country with this whole world pandemic going on, so I'm going to give these folks a bit of a break. I didn't have an appointment, but they took me right away. I was initially seated at the woman's table (I think they might be man and wife, but there were only two employees there). Regardless, she threw my hands around like she had a personal vendetta against me. It was kind of funny actually. Then she got up to do a pedicure, and the guy took over. He was very nice, but oh man did he do a terrible job. My SNS dip is bumpy, the colors are running into my cuticles, and he cut me!!! He was telling me about the hardships due to Covid, and I totally understand. If not for these crazy times, I would have complained, but I gave him an $8.00 tip on a $40 pathetic manicure. God Bless us all. I'll give them a second shot...in the interest of support for small businesses....stay tuned! read more

So overpriced for such a lousy, regular mani pedi. Since COVID start, I've had few nail services, except when I was in NYC for work. Some perspective: regular mani pedi in NYC is $35; $25 in outer boros of NYC during this pandemic. This was $45. Granted, I was a walk-in who happily waited 20 mins and brought my own polish for toes only. Irrespective of walk-in status, it was a rushed and lazy application. I am a perm St Auggie Bch resident (part-time NYC) and will NEVER come here again. read more

It's a small touch, but one that always makes the experience feel a little more welcoming and relaxing. All four of us chose the Deluxe Pedicure ($36), which is only $6 more than the Classic ($30). The Deluxe includes a drink, an exfoliating scrub, lotion, and hot towel wrap. They also offer additional upgraded pedicures with extras like hot stones, but the Deluxe feels like a great value and is usually our choice. My technician was attentive and professional. I especially appreciated that he asked permission before using the callus remover rather than just assuming. He was friendly without being overly chatty, which was perfect because part of the reason for this outing was spending time catching up with family. The salon appeared clean and well maintained. They use disposable liners in the pedicure tubs, and overall it felt cleaner than many nail salons we've visited. One fun detail from the day: my husband picked his polish color first, and I ended up liking it enough to choose the same one. I wasn't expecting to leave with matching toes, but here we are! The only minor issue was that my polish application wasn't quite as smooth as I would have liked. It isn't noticeable unless I'm looking closely, but it did seem a bit thicker than ideal. The polish on the other members of our group looked perfectly smooth, so it may have simply been an isolated occurrence and I think the issue was the polish and not the nail tech. For three Deluxe pedicures, our total was $108 before tip. We never felt rushed, the services matched what was advertised on the menu, and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Consistently good service, short wait times, a clean environment, and a relaxing experience keep us coming back. We'll definitely return.

The owner was so accommodating and knowledgeable with a couple decades of experience in nail tech and helped me with an ingrown toenail I have. The place was clean , the people real friendly . We was on vacation in the area and decided to get a pedicure . Asking the price was 30.00 each , signed the paid credit card receipt for 60.00 and card statement shown 80.00 charge . They quiz us about residency in the area or out of town . Before closing the daily credit card system someone changed the transaction from 60.00 to 80.00 and I have the original receipt. Next time I would pay cash no more credit card transactions with this business . read more

An excellent nail salon. I had a manicure and a pedicure with gell color which was completed expertly. However what sets this salon aside from others I have been to is the friendliness, the cleanliness and quite simply an all round positive experience. I recommend you go here to leave, not just with really good nails but better for having been in the presence of genuinely nice people. This place really is "Nails so Happy". read more

Came here to write a review about a mediocre manicure experience as well as a staff member degrading other coworkers in front of customers. Seems to be an issue with new management based on recent reviews (despite the unnecessary number of exclamation points from a 5 star review lol). Definitely should not openly disrespect your own staff in front of people. Makes you look like a pretty low-life manager my dude. read more

New management and MUCH nicer nail techs! The old crew were nasty and unprofessional, but the new owners/employees are very accommodating and friendly. They actually keep appointments made rather than tell you to come in, then have you sit and wait. read more
