Have been coming to Nicky Doodles for a while now. There are several locations. This location has nice outdoor seating area and offers food and not just ice cream. Though I come exclusively for ice cream as Ice cream is my favorite food group. This coming from a girl in college who with her bestie went on an Ice Cream Diet. Ice Cream is creamy and yummy. Price though tend to be on the high side but this is the perfect place to end your day during the summer.

When you have an ice cream hankering, this is the place to go! Huge portions and very good prices. Especially in this economy. Great selection of sundaes, too! They have indoor seating if you want to get away from the summer heat. The line moves quickly and the staff is friendly! It's a cute 50s theme inside. They also are attached to a restaurant.

After dinner during a work trip, I came here with some friends. It was raining a little bit and the line was a little long. The wait time did give us a chance to review the menu so there's a positive. I was a little indecisive when it was my turn to order, but the cashier had patience with me and helped me choose between two items. After getting our dessert, we ate in the car to avoid the rain. I ordered the Brownie Sundae. It was rich, warm and so good. It made up for the line and I understood why it was so long. If I'm ever in the Rome New York again, I'm gonna try the Cookie Monster Sundae.

Great burger. Awesome dogs with grilled buns. Killer cheese fries. Nuff said. I will go again when in the area. They have a lot big enough next door you can park a semi if your Bob-tail.

Saw this new place on Facebook and knew we had to give it a try. Located in one of the Old…read moreBuildings in Bragg square which gave it a lot of charm. Loved all the exposed brick and Frank Sinatra playing. This restaurant was born from what I read out of catering. Had high hopes for lunchtime bites but to be honest was disappointed. While they had an interesting assortment of sandwiches. The wait for a coveted sandwich was an hour and there were only two tables available to eat your treats and food and "NO" seating to sit and wait for your food. This for me was a huge turn off given I ordered a Mario which was a warm meatball sub and definitely something I would not eat in my car. Mario sandwich but the Michael sandwich sounded good but was rather bland but was over powered by sun dried peppers. Restaurant had bakery cases filled with goodies, loaves of homemade bread, and a refrigerated cases filled with grab and go meals which is nice. Next time I may try a grab and go option. But sandwiches were OK and with no place to eat was a definite No given the wait. Realize this restaurant just opened and am hoping they are still working things out

Very clean and very quick and capable staff. We bought an eggplant stacker and a Mezz sandwich. Both were fantastic. Oh yeah we also bought a huge oatmeal raisin cookie and a pistachio muffin. Both very yummy. Will definitely try this place again. Eat in only has 3 small tables.

They have a rotating menu that they list on their website (www.saltcitybread.com). By the time I got there mid-afternoon, they were sold out of their seeded (sesame, pumpkin, and sunflower seeds) sourdough. Plain sourdough loaves are $10 and the sourdough with inclusions are market price and range from $12-14 it seems. I got their chocolate chip cookie (with flaky salt from Syracuse Salt company) for $3.25, and it was delicious!! Thick cookie with crisp edges and a soft, fluffy center. Huge chocolate chips too! The flaky salt brings a nice balance as well. Will definitely be back!

This little bakery is very cute and offers a selection of different breads as well as sweets. The service is excellent and welcoming. These people know how to do bread WELL. I have tried their italian bread, focaccia, and their braided sesame bread-- which are all phenomenal! They have some sandwiches on their menu as well as some coffee available. On this occasion we ordered: - Braided sesame bread: this is my absolute favorite bread here. The presentation is beautiful, and the bread reminds me of a more savory challah with some salted olive oil hints that remind me of focaccia. The softness of the bread and the density make it so satisfying. It is perfect with both sweet and savory pairings. Super addictive--a loaf usually does not last longer than a day in our household. - Turkey sandwiches: we got a whole sandwich split into two halves. Size is pretty generous and one half is definitely enough for one person. This sandwich, although simple, stands out for its high quality ingredients. It came with generous sliced turkey that was not too salty, delicious gouda cheese, high quality mayo, fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The white bread is made in-house and feels super fresh and fluffy. They were super nice and gave us two bags of chips to compliment our dinner even though we technically ordered only one sandwich. We got it split into two separate containers and my fiancé and I each got our own pickle! Perfect option to get to-go. - Peanut butter cookie: I initially wanted to try the chocolate chip but they sadly ran out. However this was actually an amazing cookie. The thickness was perfect, not too thick and not too thin. It had nice bits of peanut butter and the cookie itself was super buttery, soft but with a nice caramelized crust, and not too sweet. There was a surprise Reeses PB cup in there which was very pleasant. Very good cookie! Cannot wait to come back and try their chocolate chip one. Overall, this bakery is a 10/10 and a very great asset to the area. Even though their selection is limited, I think they really focus on doing the few things they do VERY well. I love how local and homey this business feels. Their baked goods are all amazing and I will continue supporting them whenever I am in Manlius. Highly recommend Salt City Bread! You will not regret it.
