Nick was very thorough and helpful. He did nice work. Nick was prepared with all necessary tools for the job. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family. read more

I've worked with Nick twice, and both were great jobs. First job was a call after 9pm in which he had to go atop our roof to perform a "snake" to unclog our shower. He arrived, reviewed the situation and fixed the problem. The quote was very reasonable especially since it was after hours. I highly recommend Nick. read more

We had a leaking toilet situation. With this water shortage /drought problem we all are facing, I was anxious to find a Handyman who could come right away and fix this problem. Through the website, I found Nick, whom I've never met or heard before and decided to call him. Luckily he was not too far from where I was and was available within 3 hrs. After a few questions, he came over with all the parts that were needed and got that toilet working again in such a short time. And, charged me reasonably!! I will call him again if ever I'll need his services in the future, and had already given out his name to a friend right away and will definitely refer him to more friends and family. Thank you Nick! read more

Nick installed saferack overhead storage in garage for us. He browsed through the manual and accomplished the task. His services are reasonably priced. I would use his services again. read more

We came to know that our neighbor (in the same Townhome complex) had used Nick Quick Fix to do the installation job for a new InSinkErator Evolution Compact 3/4 HP Garbage Disposal Unit, they had purchased from Amazon.com for $200 and the installation work involved changes to the pipes. We purchased the unit from Home Depot and called Nick to do the installation job and he did a great job in a timely fashion and professional manner. He charged us only $165 as the job in our home did not involve replacement of pipes Nara, Mountain View, CA read more

Forgot to write this review, but he definitely deserves one so better late than never. We had an urgent issue on a weekend a few months ago. I called Nick and he was able to come by right away and fix it. He was very professional, honest and trustworthy. I'd definitely give him a call again. read more

Had a dishwasher problem that I couldn't handle on ny own. Had called on Nick in the past and, once again, he came through Excellent service! Fast, reliable, competent. Will call again for sure! read more

Very rude and highly unprofessional. I had to reschedule multiple times and I dint mind even after that he was behaving as if he was doing favor to me. He gave wrong estimate and charged me more saying the work is very complicated it turned out to be very simple and he finished it in 1/3 time of what he initially said. read more

Nick was right on time and did a great job painting the walls of our home in Fremont. He was very professional and even saved us some paint with his meticulous skills. I wouldn't have any second thoughts recommending him. read more

I still use nick and his dedication and commitment is awesome. One of the best handyman experience I've ever had.

Overpriced and unresolved. That was my experience when we had Nick come over to help fix a fan switch. He spent an hour only to figure out which wires were hot in one switch (which could have been done in a much shorter time) and left without solving the problem and identifying the cause even. Though he quoted a much lower price initially for just the diagnosis (50$) he charged an hours cost (125$) for not even diagnosing the problem that felt like a ripoff. If you have some electrical related small work I would look elsewhere. read more

Wonderful to work with. I need a handy person to help me put the house back into renting order. He was the absolute best person for the job. He fixed up all the dings on the walls and repainted them. No time was wasted. Was very efficient and very personable. Highly recommended for anyone moving out and wants their security deposit back in full. read more

Nick is great to work with. Professional, articulate, and reasonably priced. I will definitely call him again if I need work done to the house. read more

Nick did an excellent job with all my small jobs. He's very personable, and his rate was within my budget. We will definitely call on him for all our future handyman needs. Thanks Nick! read more

Called Nick today for help with my garbage disposal. He spent several minutes with me on the phone and we solved my problem without a visit and no charge. Nick's Quick Fix is a class act. Five stars all the way! read more

I called Nick on a Saturday evening because my AirBnB renters told me the upstairs toilet was leaking through the downstairs living room ceiling. Despite the fact that I had never used him before, Nick came right away and just charged me his standard hourly rate, not anything extra for a Saturday night. This involved the bidet toilet, a little more complicated than your average toilet, and he knew what to do right away. Then he took a look at the ceiling because he was concerned dampness might be caught in there and cause mold. However, he realized it was plaster, not sheetrock, and said there would be no problem as plaster allows moisture to wick out. I would call him again for anything, not just plumbing. read more

When things break, things need fix. My outdoor spigot leaks and Nick came out on Labor Day with same day appointment. After fixing the spigot, he found the high water pressure and offered me a pressure regulator valve. He installed everything and everything seems to work better. I guess the high water pressure is a Newark/Fremont thing, it bugged me ever since I moved to my house 2 years ago because it causes the annoying pipe clunking and banging. I had no idea how to fix it, but Nick took care of it with a regulator. I was like Wow!!! Nick is not the cheapest, he is reasonable. If you want the cheapest then do it yourself. If you need contractor help quick, I recommend Nick. read more

I booked an appointment with Nick to help clean up the clogged rain gutters. After asking for details about the house such as number of storeys, neighborhood etc, he gave me an approximate quote and said he could do the job at 3pm the next day. As requested, I texted him my address a few minutes after our conversation. Nick did not show up on the scheduled day nor did he have the courtesy or professionalism to let me know that he couldn't make it. He did not respond to texts or calls when i tried to reach him and his voicemail was full. So, based on my experience, Nick is not trustworthy or professional. I recommend you take your business to someone else who can use a calendar and keep their appointments. read more

I called for a leaking toilet and he had an appointment for that same day, which sounded great. He showed up two hours late without notifying me of the delay. When he finally did show up, he replaced the seal on the pipe. $150 later, my toilet started leaking again... Called another plumber who said that it had not been repaired properly...Would defiantly not recommend this plumbing service. read more

I called Nick to fix a broken handle on a toilet. He came over, verified it was the handle, went and got the part and replaced it in no time! I highly recommend Nick. He is honest and does great work! Thank you Nick!! read more

Very thorough! Prompt with calls and text communication. He was called in for a few hours - to install a window awning, security door and replace a couple of faucets. However, he identified other critical plumbing issues and accomodated them. We will call him for future projects. read more

Fantastic service and a very pleasant person to deal with. Nick fixed a plumbing leak in a Fremont rental of mine. He was professional and was quick. Thanks Nick! read more

Nick was very courteous, highly professional, on-time and did a great job on helping assemble an outdoor storage shed. Whenever we need any other handywork done, I will call Nick. Thanks Nick! read more

Nick did an excellent job with my clogged sink. I had used Liquid Plumber for three days and it wasn't working.. I found Nick on Google. He gave me a price but once getting to the house and checking out what need to be done and it needed more work than he thought. I needed extra parts. His price are very reasonable and weren't far off from what originally said. I definitely don't mind calling him again.. Thanks again Nick and keep up the good work! read more

I hired Nick two times- Once to wall mount TVs and then to fix recess lights and bath accessories. Both time, he did a great job. The only point that could have been better is using shoe covers so that I do not have to clean the floor (like most people of Indian origin, we do not use shoes within house). Bottom line, I would recommend him to anyone as handyman. read more

Nick just saved the day! Backed up sink, all the way to the roof! I am new to the area but luckily I chose the right plumber, he fixed the problem, and was professional and courteous. His prices were very good, especially for this area. Can't say enough good things. read more

If only 0 stars were an option, I would choose that. Nick is the most unprofessional tasker I have ever dealt with. I initially reached out to him 4 days ago trying to schedule him for a plumbing emergency I noticed moving into my new house. Our schedules didn't allow for him to arrive the first day, so we tried again for the next day. He is the worst communicator and will leave you hanging without any courtesy notice. He does not value his potential customers time and selfishly is consumed in his own issues. I'm sure he does great work at his convenience whenever he wants to make money, but when there is an emergency that can't wait for him to decide if that day is a day he feels like working, then you are better off going with any of the hundred other handymen who are willing to accommodate your job. It has been 4 days now and he has yet to commit to fixing my issues. It's time to move on to a real professional. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. KEEP IT MOVING. read more

Called Nick on Tuesday to replace a 40 gallon water heater. He quoted us $950 parts AND labor but said he would need us to go with him to buy the parts because he did not have the money. I felt like $950 parts AND labor was pretty steep since I knew a water heater was about $500-$600 and being mechanically inclined myself, I KNEW the job should only take about 2hrs. BUT I have a day job so what the hell! Get it done. He said he would be at the house between 6:30 and 7pm. 7pm no Nick so my brother checks with him and he said he will be there ASAP. 8pm no Nick! So we called him to see where he was? He said sorry it's too late now! I can't make it tonight but I can come between 9:30 and 10am the next day! I personally had worked a 12hr shift already and had to be up at 4am SO, at 8pm it was too late for me to go to Home Depot and install this water heater myself. 10am the next morning and guess what? No Nick! He shows up at 10:30 without a courtesy call after already leaving us hanging without hot water the night before. My brother goes with him to Home Depot and buys the water heater and new water lines. $550! Nick was at our house a total of 3 hours INCLUDING the trip to Home Depot. He then proceeds to ask my brother $950?! My brother, not being mechanical, settles with him for $750?! Are you kidding me? $250 per hour to remove an old water heater and LITERALLY reattach 2 water lines, 1 gas line and 1 relief valve?! That is completely unacceptable and wrong! Screw this guy! I don't know who all these 4 and 5 stars are coming from but they must not know the difference between a phillips and a flat head screw driver if they think this guy is fair, punctual or honest or any of the other good things they have stated about him! If I had been home, I would have paid him $300 and told him to kick rocks! Dude is a crook preying on uninformed home owners! read more

Called Nick and asked if does popcorn ceiling removal. He said yes. Made an appointment for him to come and look at the house and do a quote. He never showed up nor did he call. read more

Guess I'm in the same category as another reviewer, must have got him on an off-day...a real off-day. Simple job to cap off a copper water pipe. The space around it wasn't cleared enough to his satisfaction, had to ask three times what clearance was needed to get an answer, then he promptly left and said call me when you're ready. Rudeness and inflexibility are definitely strong points, along with promptness returning calls and showing up. Won't recommend, won't call again. read more

I called Nick @ 4:30 pm on a Friday afternoon to install a toilet paper holder. I didn't think I would find anyone at this late hour, but Nick showed up on time about an hour later. The installation required cutting a rectangular hole in existing painted drywall. He did a great job doing the installation. The dispenser was level and fit snugly in the cutout and the total installation only took 30 minutes. His price was competitive. good job, Nick! read more

I have selected this business after reviewing the high ratings for this business. Well, I have had a very bad experience in all aspects. Did not show up for appointment, High price, problem not fully resolved, used the time at some other customer's place because of double booking and did not inform me of delays until I called. At the end of the work the outlet with the metal box on the ceiling is completely visible (not inside the ceiling), along with two ugly holes on both sides of the outlet. And then refusing to do a minor replacement, even though there was extra one hour in the 4 hour work we negotiated for. Here is the timeline of events. I called a week or so back and got an appointment for a particular date and time. Nick has not showed up for the appointment. After waiting for one and half hours I called him and he said he was coming in 20 minutes. He showed up after half an hour. Tasks to be performed: 1. Fix one projector to the ceiling and, replace a light fixture on the ceiling with a wall power outlet. No additional wiring involved. 2. Install two blinds on two small windows. Quote: 4 hours of work. And he also said, during the initial phone call and during the day of work, that he would work on any minor stuff around the house if there was any time left with in the negotiated 4 hour work. 3. Then he went out to get a small metal plate for the outlet. He did not return for two and half hours. I called to find out where he was and also asked if he was double booked. He said he was attending to 'some stuff' and be back in 15 minutes. He came back in 25 minutes and told me he got a call for some urgent leak and had to attend, that's the reason for missing for 2 and half hours. (So is this common or did he just gave appointment to two customers for the same times?) 4. Then he finished fixing the projector and replaced the light fixture with the wall outlet. Then he finished fixing the windows blinds. Of course the outlet in the ceiling did not go inside the ceiling and had two holes around it which he said I had to get fixed through other means. And I was ok with that and did not complain about. 5. I asked him to replace another wall outlet on a wall with a usb outlet (it was probably going to take 10 to 15 minutes). And he refused saying it's already 4 hours. I went through the entire time line of when he came in and went out. How he actually went out for two and half hours working for some other customer. It added up to 2 and half hours. Even if the shopping was an entire hour to get a metal box, it still added up to 3 and half hours. He argued for 10 minutes how he did not keep track of time and how much work is involved etc etc. Then after I went through the timeline one more time he agreed to fix it but at which point I had enough and told him there was no need for it. Because it did not appear there were any professional principles involved with this business. This is a really bad experience. At the end of it there is a projector that's hanging out with ugly wires and one half installed outlet with holes in the ceiling around it. For the record, I paid fully the amount we agreed up on. read more

Jackpot! I feel like I won the lottery- better than being in the grocery store and walking right up to the checkstand with no line!!!! When does this happen- like never! But oh it did- sent a text to Nick, said: need ceiling fan taken down new one put up, how much. Now it is Sunday evening and low and behold I get a phone call- it's Nick himself! We have a brief exchange, he gives me the price- which I immediately felt was fair. He asks so when do I want this done? Yea I said it.... I said like now? But then I said well ASAP- he said now works- bam- texted him my addy- shortly there after he shows up, dressed in an identifiable "Nick's Quick fix work shirt, carried a tool box with everything he needed. Bonus**** he is personable, cool, positive, upbeat and very friendly! What more can a single mom ask for? Fair and honest gentleman! Oh and by the way he is licensed and bonded! I purchased two flat screen tvs. I found his ad on Craigslist and gave him a call. He showed up on time, got the TVs mounted quickly, and gave me a fair price. What can I say of Nick ! We just hired him off Craigslist to install our bunk beds and other stuff arnd the house like TV Wall mount, window blind repairs etc. He did a terrific job at very good rates, was very upright and even suggested us cost savings, tips for better management etc. He went out and fetched parts for us, and the service was top notch and professional, he takes great pride in it ! I would work with him again anytime I have more needs and highly recommend him for any work requiring a handyman and beyond ! Go Nick, all the very best ! read more

Wanted to replace my bathroom toilets and went to Home Advisor for referrals. Nick called me almost immediately and discussed my project. I am so pleased with his work, I've already mentioned othe projects to him. He is now my "go to" person for projects around the house. read more

Nick is great! I was changing the wax seal on my toilet and found out that the valve on the supply outlet was corroded and the nipple had to be replaced. Nick is a great guy to deal with! Very friendly and professional at the same time. A broken flush in one of the toilet and a broken seat in the other toilet. Nick came and fixed it with ease.
