I highly recommend Nick's Quick Fix Plumbing for any plumbing needs! Nick, the owner, was professional, friendly, honest, and very thorough. He explained exactly what the issue was, what needed to be done, and what it would cost before getting started. He replaced the wax ring, flange, and water valve on my toilet and completed everything quickly and efficiently. Throughout the process, he explained what he was doing and why, which I really appreciated. His prices are also very reasonable and affordable, especially compared to some of the larger plumbing companies. I also love supporting a locally owned business. I will definitely be calling Nick again for any future plumbing needs and highly recommend him! read more

He not only does the job well, he tries to understand what I want and explains the process. I have had a pleasure of using Nick a couple of times and he was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and I felt his rates were a good value. I also have a lot of clutter in my house, and he was very non-judgmental about that I was terrified to let him in, but he never blinked an eye and fixed my toilet, which had not been working for almost a year. I would highly recommend using Nick. I also felt safe with him in my home as a single aging woman. read more

Nick's Quick Fix - New thrown! - Plumbing Near Me - Newark, California

This is the second or third time I've called Nick to help fix or replace items in the house. This time, he replaced the components of the main commode tank, as well as installing new, in-the-wall toilet paper holders. These were huge improvements, both aesthetically and functionally. The price was great, and Nick was flexible with our schedule and completed the jobs in a short time. The new items look great, and Nick was very personable and professinal. Definitely recommend and will definitely call him again! read more

I was dreading calling a plumber to fix my leaking toilet, because it just felt like a gross job to ask someone to do. I had called a different handyman who told me bluntly over the phone that I'd have to just buy a new toilet. I didn't feel good about that answer and finally bit the bullet and called Nick after I saw a bunch of positive reviews for him on Next Door. He gave me a quote and came over right when he said he would with great communication, updating me on his ETA. When he arrived, he realized he would need an additional piece of equipment because my toilet wasn't standard. He went and got it and returned, taking care of the job with patience and obvious care. He communicated clearly with me the whole time about what he was doing and why and was thorough in making sure my toilet would not start leaking again. I was so grateful to have someone help me with an issue I was dreading having fixed and his price was great. Thank you so much Nick! read more

Nick was recommended to me by another plumber. He's personable, professional and quick to respond. I really appreciate his help and expertise. I also thought his prices were reasonable and comparable to other quotes I've received. He did a wonderful job. Thank you, Nick! read more

Nick came to my rescue on a Sunday morning. His pricing was great and he provided exceptional customer service. I'm so glad I went with him for the repair. If I need help again, I'm calling him! read more

I called Nick to fix our clogged sinks. He was prompt and courteous. However after some attempts to fix (including an attempt to flush from the rooftop) he was unable to fix the problem. Apparently, the pipes could not be snaked without making a hole in the wall to access the pipes, which would cost an additional $625. I went in for a second opinion and they fixed the issue in 30min with a month's warranty. Perhaps it was due to the lack of the proper equipment Nick was not able to operate the snake. Somewhat disappointed. read more

I have used Nick several times over the past 7 years and he has proven to be knowledgeable, competent and honest in his business dealings. I confidently recommend him. read more

I hired Nick back in January when our garbage disposal broke and I couldn't install a replacement on my own. I called him on a Sunday evening and he was at our house early on Monday morning. He's professional, knowledgable, kind, and his prices are fair. While Nick handled the disposal, I worked on a faucet replacement and got tripped up by the faucet line being the wrong size for the valve. He educated me on plumbing types/standards, so I could find the right adapter I needed, and even talked me through the installation over the phone later that day. He's definitely the guy I'll be calling again next time I need a plumber. Thanks Nick! read more

So after almost 20 years since I last redid my bathroom, the sink faucet was showing it's wear and wouldn't shut tight, thus a leaky faucet. Totally inevitable. I can do some handyman work around the house, but when it comes to plumbing, I try and not push my luck. There's definitely a discipline to it, as everything has to be flush and exact. Or else more leaks. Since this was a smaller job, that really wasn't an emergency, I didn't want to hire a big time plumbing company. Looked on Yelp and found this local tradesman who spent some time working in construction, but decided to just be on his own. Totally respectable. I gave it a whirl and was satisfied with the work rendered. Started with a few texts along with some pictures of the existing faucet. I got an estimate, agreed and it took about another 5 days for actual work. As it turns out it cost almost the same to just replace the whole faucet set, as it is to replace just the worn out piece. Super typical. So I approved for him to already bring a new faucet with him, giving him my budget. If you are picky about the looks of your hardware, you may have to get more involved with him in picking out the style that works for you. Day of repair, we go to turn off the main under the sinks. Since all the hardware was pushing 20 years old without any handling, all the valves were stuck because of corrosion. This also is quite normal. I just should of been more prepared for it and asked about it, because we ended up having to replace the tubes and valves under the sink as well, which added another $100 to the estimate. It was due and I was just relieved that he had all that with him, versus making another appointment or going back to the store. Everything took about an hour, so quite efficient. He didn't chat until everything was over, which I totally appreciated. He worked very clean and organized. I've hired people in the past that were just nightmares to deal with, like mad attention deficit syndrome. But not Nick, he was focused and on track to finish a job. So not really any cheaper than a few other plumbers I also called, but I'm just glad that he was local, so he knew the plumbing that was built in our area. And the fact that he fixed the issue in one try, just has to be noted. I have his number in my phone now. Relieved to have this resource on my side. read more

We needed some drywall work done and done immediately. I called Nick. He was quick with the estimate and later stuck to it. We did a walkthrough of the issues that needed to be fixed the next day. He promised that he'd fix them sooner than we had agreed upon earlier; a day ahead of time. He even worked late into the night to finish up the job. He's truly dedicated to make his customers happy. He's just a remarkable person to work with! I'll be talking to him first for any of our future jobs. read more

Showed up an hour late ,and he was shaking . His free estimate ( On Thumbtack) changed to a $75 service call . Charged me $175 and did not get the drain clear. Offered to come back tonight and Hydro cut for an additional $500. I do not recommend this company and I was totally disappointed and felt robbed. I had mission city come out the next day And they cleared the drain by sneaking under the sink. No broken pipes! No need for $500 Hydro from Nick! He wasted my time and money! read more

Way long overdue review. I had Nick out to replace my toilet when I moved in, as well as install a new bathroom sink I bought, and it's been more than a year since he installed them both, and I'm still happy with the work he did. Nick was awesome we spoke over the phone he squeeze me in his busy schedule on so short notice. He gave me a time and was great on communicating with me when he would be arriving my home. Nick turned out to be our 6th shot at figuring out what the heck was going on with our piping. The pipe kept overflowing and making messes all on our bottom floor. Within 10 minutes of me going online and asking for a quote, Nick got back to me (at 11:45 pm) letting me know when he was available to get back to me tomorrow. He then did at that time and was very prompt and available which was extremely satisfying since I wouldn't be able to use any water until he arrived. He later came and updated me throughout the job and showed me exactly what the inconsistencies were and what should normally be occurring. Eventually the problem was fixed and we knew exactly what was going on, finally! Pricing is exteremely good, considering we have tried 5 others, for a snake ($145) and camera ($150), it came out to be around $300, as opposed to $400 or $500 from the other companies. read more
