Wow, the gyro meat, soft pita & trimmings were great, as was the spinakopita--but my favorite item was the baklava, which is made by the owner! It is a stellar value for presentation & flavor! Service was quick for 15 minutes before closing--& it was my very first visit to Sioux Falls AND Nick's Gyros, but it won't be the last! Highly recommend! read more

Food was mid! Service was mid! Ambiance was good razzmatazz! Overall experience no complaints. Just mid!

Lots of food. Gyro was full of meat! Building was clean. Employees were not the most welcoming but not rude. I think they were just busy and it was hot. read more

When you walk in you have the option to go right towards and into the kitchen or straight to the counter. The place seemed generally clean. I got a chicken gyro and it was good. I wish that the gyro came with lettuce. The Greek salad dressing was super good. The fries have zero salt or seasoning and for $3.50 that's a huge letdown. The staff wasn't pleasant but wasn't exactly rude. Weren't super helpful, friendly, or inviting. I don't know if the gyro was enough to have to me coming back. read more

Nick's Gyros - Chicken Gyro - Greek Near Me - Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Ordered online from the new 10st location. The online order didn't go through although it was confirmed because it was "unplugged". The buy 2 get 1 free discount was not honored because the 3rd party ordering was down while it was unplugged. The owner did not offer any discount or gift card and instead told us to call the 3rd party ordering company to request a discount. How lazy and unprofessional. No discount for the inconvenience of not having the order ready and having to wait for a new order, no discount honored for their buy 2 get 1 free and the owner makes the customer chase down their money from the 3rd party ordering app. So the new location still sucks because of the owner. The sandwiches are not worth $10 each. Arby's gyros is better than this read more

Nick's Gyros - Full price sandwiches despite the buy 2 get 1 free discount promised. - Greek Near Me - Sioux Falls, South Dakota

I added hummus & they gave me a Costco cup I already have in my refrigerator. Sad. Don't even offer it.

He has a location near me and it's been a while but he does an amazing job and I never had any left over because it's that good

Best fast food in Sioux Falls. Always clean, good service and with the new location very easy to get to.

great food, great service... Sioux Falls gem. Very authentic and fast. Love the ambiance, cute and a clean kitchen.

I stopped by on Friday May 29th at 8:30 pm to get a gyro plate. The staff informed me that it would be togo only because they had already cleaned the dining floor. There were still customers eating there too....I did not order anything to go and walked out. It is usually around $30 for me and a guest. Where is the boss, shitty customer service! read more

We had lunch here and went with beef gyros, fries and onion rings. We ordered ahead for a specific time pickup - but they don't start to make your order until you arrive. The gyros were pretty good as were the onion rings: the fries were fine but nothing to write home about. Parking is ample, staff is friendly, prices and appropriate. read more

We moved to Brandon SD about 5 weeks ago. I kept seeing a sign for Nicks Gyros. I love gyros, so does Mallory. I went there and got us lunch today. Completely unimpressed. $37.50 for lunch. And they charged my card twice. Not even apologetic about it. Owner told me to call in a few days to get my refund. Ugh. I don't recommend the experience. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! THE WORST GYRO!! the pita was freezing cold, i had to ask for fresh fries, and the gyro meat was sitting out- NOT FRESH. I took 1 bite and threw away the rest! wasn't even worth getting sick!!!! read more

Would give it less than one star if possible. Found numerous short black hairs in my Gyro. It made me sick to my stomach. We had picked up our order in the drive thru and were already on the outskirts of Sioux Falls, so did not turn back to show management this outrage. We rate this place 5 YUCKS and 5 ICKS. read more

Still having to drive through. The menu is simple and easy to read. Appealing was the "local" favorites. I ordered the gyro plate which turned out tasty meat but the rest not so much. The meat had decent flavor but the tzatziki was below par. Very heavy Mayo and no flavor. They give you enough tomatoes. Wife ordered the local of gyros and fries. Same flavor over fries and the fries were not fresh or feeling good to eat. Hoped it was better. We did try the cheese puff. Philo dough and cheese but again not rocking my world. read more

Not everything here is homemade, but everything is really delicious. The staff is really nice and energetic. The gyros we ordered were STUFFED! Like you could literally make a whole extra gyro out of the filling. I highly suggest the gyro plate because it comes with crinkle fries, I know, not homemade, but whatever they fry them in is tasty. Their pastries are homemade and they're really good. I haven't tried the chicken yet, so I'll have to do that next. read more

The highway sign is correct! Awesome, the BEST Gyro! Fresh, very good flavour. The in-house sauce is delicious. Can't beat the friendly customer service. read more

As a Chicagoland native; I've missed my Gyros. Sioux Falls doesn't know what they are missing. This definitely didn't disappoint!! The lady at the front counter was super nice and the gentleman cooking was super nice as well! He was super quick! With places like this I expect at least a 10+ min wait but everything was done in record time and literally melted in your mouth. Hot and fresh!!! I didn't get a pic because I chowed down super fast; it was so good. My husband and I got big nick burger, gyro, fries, Greek fries, cheese puff, and baklava. The baklava was the best I've tasted in years! Def will be back!!!!!! Pretty old school; small mom and pop ambiance as well; which is always a plus!!! read more

Ranch dressing is not tzatziki sauce. Everything else was great, but minus 2 stars for ranch dressing. Just let your customers know, it's ranch, not tzatziki. read more

Nick's Gyros - Gyro & sauce. The issue others have brought up about the sauce is because it's Ranch dressing. NO BUENO! - Greek Near Me - Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Food is mid same with service 84 dollars for 2small gyro burgers and 3fries with onion rings and 3salads is insane. Fries themselves were 10 each for a small bag of unsalted unseasoned fries.burgers are alr small for the price and same with the salads.overrated and expensive do NOT go if u want good read more

I got the burger and fries. The patty was seasoned pretty good and it all tasted good enough. But hours later I was super sick from that burger. read more

3.5 stars. Good gyros platter. Fries were good and dining area was clean and comfortable. Helpful and fast service. Would give it a 4 if the portions were a bit bigger. Worth another try when in the mood for gyro. read more

Great! Fantastic Greek place. This is a fast food place. Great food with even better service!

For someone who had never had Greek before this was phenomenal. I didn't think that gyros could actually taste as well as they do! I always thought the flavor palate was either super sweet or sour (usually not my thing). If you're on the fence about Greek, start here! Nicks had an Americanized Greek makeover for almost any mouth! I always get the Baklava, but if I'm feeling empty enough in my stomach I'll get some gyros! I'm amazed since I have to have it plain, but it still comes out delish and unique! The only negative I have is the drive through! It's too narrow! One of my vehicles just can maneuver it unfortunately. read more

Gyro was way to dry should of known when meat was in crockpot already cut and other items where put in microwave

Meat was cold on gyro plate and what's with only one piece of feta cheese? Onions too big and so are tomatoes according to girlfriend so we won't be back. They used to be really good. Prices have gone up as well and compared to other places you can get more for less and it's not reheated or cold to boot. Friendly people for employees read more

Nicks is the best. I started eating here with my dad when I grew up in Sioux Falls. It was the first (and best) experience I've ever had with gyros. Every time I am back in Sioux Falls I hope I have the chance to eat here! Nick's can get busy at lunch (never been here for dinner), but the line moves pretty quick. There isn't a huge seating area, but it also turns over pretty quickly. They usually have an employee that only tends to the dining area, removing trays and plates from tables, cleaning as soon as a table leaves, etc. I have only ever had the gyro plates, but I have heard good reviews on the gyro salads as well. I love the plates because of the way the pitas are thrown on the flat top for a bit to give a nice "toast" to them. Since moving away from Sioux Falls, I've tried to find a comparable gyro in other cities and have not succeeded. While the meat and pitas are similar at other places, NICK'S HAS THE BEST TZATZIKI SAUCE EVER!!!! Do yourself a favor and eat at Nick's. Locally owned, delicious, and better than anything else you'll find along 41st.... read more

Nick's Gyros - Gyro plate. - Greek Near Me - Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Deliciousness served up fresh- I have not yet found the plate that has all the goodness of humus, tzatziki and Greek olives with a gyro but I'm willing to keep going back until I find the right combination. My kids even ask to eat here. Simply delicious! read more

Always good food , good service. Always looking forward to it. Clean. Friendly staff.

First time in Nick's and I loved it. I ordered the straight gyro, no mods. I thought it was priced fairly. The gyro was among the better I've had. I will be back. I came to Nick's in the middle of the afternoon so the order was taken and completed in a total of 3-4 minutes. The meat tasted great and fresh and the tomatoes had great flavor. The sauce wasn't too much and complimented the gyro perfectly. Next time I will try a gyros burger(). read more

I left Sioux Falls in 2004 and whenever In return I make Nick's a priority. I have tried them in many places as I traveled (even Greece) and Nick's is the benchmark for Gyros. I can't wait until I can safely travel again to eat at Nick's read more

Great food probably one of the best gyro places I have been to. It is also a mom and pop shop so if you are looking for one there you go.

I have had many gyros throughout the years, and I have to say this is the very worst I have ever had, It's always greasy, the meat is always under cooked. I was really excited when I moved to Sioux falls, from Nebraska and saw there was a local Gyro place, but now I am just ashamed to even admit going there. read more

Ordered an italian beef and an order of jalapeno peppers. The poppers were good but the beef was terrible. The meat was full of fat or skin whatever it was. It tasted old. And its tiny for the pricetag of over 7$. There are way better choices around the area for a beef. read more

Nick's Gyros is more than just a restaurant, it's a Sioux Falls landmark. I remember eating there decades ago and the food was just as good then as it is now. Getting a proper Greek Gyros in South Dakota is no easy task, so Nick's fills that void perfectly. Even writing this review makes me think about heading over over a delicious soft pita filled with Gyro meat and tzatziki sauce. If you have not been to Nick's, go there right now. If you have, then you already know. read more

After living in Minneapolis and having gyros from Santana Foods on 6th and University Ave, I wasn't sure I'd find a place that I liked with gyros ever again. While Santana's holds an edge in my mind (probably sentimental more than anything else), Nick's is awesome and the gyros salad is one of my staple lunches! This place is one of my favorite overall places in town. Fair price and excellent food! read more
