The food is so fresh, healthy, nutritious and delicious!! They offer sandwiches, wraps, juices, smoothies, açaí bowls and salads. I was so impressed with the quality of food as well as the wait staff who were so efficient and friendly! The inside of Agua Fresh is so cute with adorable decor and in the summer it is so nice to be able to sit outside on the tables provided and see the views of Downtown Sioux Falls! I was expecting more fresh since, well, it's in the name. The only thing fresh seemed to be the juice, which wasn't really cold-pressed juice like I was expecting, but more like a smoothie blend. Which is fine... if they'd advertised it as such. It was very hard to understand the person taking our order... her accent was incredibly thick (and it was a bit noisy). There wasn't actually a lot of options for gluten-free... well... next to none. Which also seemed weird to me since this place advertised "healthy options." Typically healthy-option restaurants are also allergen conscious. Hubs got a soup & sandwich... the sandwich looked good (no GF bread so I didn't try it)... and he had to practically beg them to give him the soup he ordered. Unfortunately we didn't get a receipt to prove we paid for it... naturally if they'd checked the computer it would be there. So good! I'm vegan and I'm town for a wedding - I was looking for somewhere with vegan options and they had a pretty decent selection of things that could easily be made vegan and still be tasty! I got the avocado sandwich without feta, and I added onion & balsamic on the side and it was soooo good. It also felt not too heavy like a burger or something might. The sandwich was a good size too. Good outdoor seating area but could use some more shade areas. My kids are asking to return and it is nice to have a place that has kid friendly and healthy options. It had a ton of bananas in it like probably an entire banana which is fine but takes the flavor away from the other ingredients. Food was great! I got the dragon bowl and it's now my favorite! The location is fine and the place inside and out is super cute!! I ordered pickup online and it was ready on time. The only thing that I didn't care for was the service. The lady didn't say one word to me the whole time. No "hello", no "thank you have a good day." I tried to start a conversation with her about the place and she didn't reply. I want to come here more but not if the staff isn't friendly. Might try again and hopefully I get helped by a different worker. read more

Was meeting a friend at the Diner for lunch on Sunday but there was a tremendous wait. Agua Fresh was only a few steps away and I had read good things about it so we went! It is so clean and bright and clean inside! I got the avocado grilled sandwich combo which came with a fresh juice ( Berry Blast was incredible!) And a bag of lays potato chips. The sandwiches were large and loaded with ingredients. My combo was about ten bucks total! There are so many other soups and salads and wraps I would love to try so I will certainly be back. While the store opens at 8, an Aqua Fresh team member saw me waiting outside, and without any prompting or gesturing from me, opened early at 7:53 am to assist me. I explained I hadn't had any veggies for my last two meals and said I didn't want juices from concentrates and he quickly directed me to parts of the menu with lots of veggies and unprocessed ingredients. He took time to ask where I was from, what brought me to Sioux Falls and connected with me over my home state (MN), career and studies. He suggested places nearby to hike (Palisades). This was the morning of Tues., Sept 13,2022. I didn't get his name but give this young man a raise! The smoothie was just what I needed to make a healthy start, with fresh, plant-based ingredients that I could not have found at my nearby hotel. Five stars! Great taste, healthy, and just as important: the Agua Fresh team member made me feel like I was family. Awesome! read more
