Huge portions, a different type of refried beans which were very good. The queso was very good. Service was excellent decor.

My wife and I stopped for a Sunday Lunch. I believe this used to be a Dairy Queen, and it still kinda looks like it inside. When we approached the counter to order, they asked if we wanted to select a table and have them serve us. We said "sure". After browsing the menu, my wife got a Sope Pollo (chicken sope) a ground beef taco and an order of Chips and Queso(sorry, forgot to get a picture of her food). I got the Alambres platter. The food was pretty good, but I've had better in the Sioux Falls area. Portion size of my platter was good, but was at the top of the mark at $16.95. The refried beans were runny, with no real texture. My wife said the Sope was good, but at a little over $5.00 kinda steep. The ground beef taco was also good and priced at a pretty average $3.00 for what I see street tacos at. Finally, the chips and Queso were OK, but not at a price of $7.85. Our bill total was $32.85 and that was with water to drink. I also understand that credit card fees can take a bite out of the bottom line, but I wish establishments would post that there will be an additional fee for credit card usage. Hacienda Jalisco charges 3.5% for "NON CASH FEE" (It does say it on the receipt, I just didn't notice it in any of the signage and I am typically a detail person). Since we didn't order at the counter, didn't realize the credit card fee our bill with tip was $42.92.

I'm not a yelper but this is hands down the best burrito I have ever had. I come weekly now. Absolutely insane at an affordable price.

I got sopes de asada and they were good, I was surprised they had good Mexican food in Sioux Falls.

Great Atmosphere and the best place to make a life choice!…read moreHad brunch with my future in-laws and Cody. After lively conversation and laughter, do I need to say great food? We went on our way, only after the moment of truth. I asked my future Father in-law for my Beautiful Blessing's hand in marriage, he gave his Blessing! She was overjoyed! As was I! I swear that she picked him up with the strength of her happiness!

When we added our name to the waitlist at 9:00 AM on a Saturday for a party of four, our wait time was around 75 minutes. When we got there, we were seated promptly. However, our waitstaff didn't come to take our order promptly. We waited around 10+ minutes to put our order in. While they have the Toast app and devices, we weren't able to pay using Toast (with the QR code from the table). Ambiance: This place is huge. The seating is comfortable and the decor isn't tacky or kitschy. Food: My friend ordered the Swedish pancakes and thick-sliced bacon and had enough leftover to take home for the next day. My husband had the corned beef hash and was happy with his order. I had the Irish benedict which was a nice change from your typical benedict. While they advertise that the corned beef hash is homemade, it's not what I had expected. It seemed similar to others I've had that was served out of a can. Usually when it's homemade the corned beef and potato pieces are larger, but this seemed like canned hash you could buy at the store. Nonetheless, it was still really good. The coffee wasn't super strong, but wasn't "church coffee" either. Noise Level: For as busy as it was, I didn't find the restaurant to be so noisy that we couldn't hear each other talk. Service: As I mentioned, getting our orders taken took longer than we expected, but the waitstaff was very nice and attentive throughout the rest of our dining experience.
